    Cheeesey Burger and French Fries
    Olivia J.

Love wayback burgers! The food is really good. I always get the cheesy burger with fries. It's pretty greasy, but that's how this kind of food is. Definitely worth getting!

Upscale McDonald's burger @ a Five Guy's price!!! Ordered the Philly. It has American cheese, onions, and mushrooms. If I had closed my eyes, I would have sworn it was a large size McDonald's burger. I didn't find out that I could add additional toppings until after I paid and was sitting down waiting for my food. Pickle/lettuce/ tomato would have been good on it. Fries were good! A less greasy version, but similar taste to McDonald's. Maybe had I been told, or even offered to customize my burger, I would have had a better experience, but i didn't know since it wad my first time here.

    Single burger, fries.

This is a delicious burger joint. I attached a picture of the meal I'm about to review. Single burger, mustard, ketchup, lettuce. Fries and vanilla milkshake =$12ish. The beef is fresh but looks bigger than it tastes, if that makes any sense. It's delicious, but worthwhile to get the double patty. The bread (the key to any great sandwich) was fresh, delicious but a bit messy. Very spongy which is good for overall sandwich, but I'm not a fan of the way condiments get absorbed by bread of that nature. Lettuce was romaine lettuce, which I'm not fan of personally, but I will note that it was as fresh as could be and a great piece of lettuce. The fries was perfection. Great and crispy, not soggy with grease, and nice and fresh. Above all else they were NOT over salted - which is my biggest gripe with most burger places. The milkshake was delicious. The perfect balance of sugar in the mix / ice cream. Couldn't have been any better. Minus one star for the cleanliness of the dining area (it wasn't gross, but somewhat cluttered, straw wrappers on the floor, etc) and Pepsi products. (Team Coca-cola baby.) Overall - great place to get a burger, sides and a milkshake at an affordable price.

Wayback Burger is a hybrid between an old-time drive-in and modern fast food. They specialize in burgers, but also have chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and salads. If you're watching your calories, be aware pretty much every option is a double-burger or larger even if the menu doesn't say so. The food is reasonably tasty, but nothing to write home about. (Yes, I see the irony of that statement in a written review.) Prices are not cheap, but not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful, as well.

Burgers are delicious and freshly made to order. Great place for lunch, not a lot of seating at some locations.

The restaurant is very clean and nice--not too overwhelming in terms of lighting and music. The food came fast. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing (to no fault of the waitress of course). We ordered the beef empanadas, the truffle burger, and the barnyard burger. The empanada crust was burnt and hard, with barely any actual filling. For $15, we were given 2 tiny empanadas. The truffle fries barely had any truffle flavor and the sweet potato fries were overdone. My truffle burger was soggy, with not enough bread and pretty much no flavor. Overall, overpriced for not very good food. The sink water was freezing cold. Maybe today was just a bad day for them, but I wouldn't come here again.

Parking is available behind the restaurant, and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Must-haves: - Prime rib: Tender, cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. 5/5 - French onion soup: Forgot to take a picture, but it was the star of the meal. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. 10/5 - Fried calamari (NY style): The marinara dip had garlic and hot peppers. It wasn't spicy (to us), but added a nice kick. The calamari itself was crispy and well done. 5/5 - Fries: Shoestring style, crispy, and just right. 5/5 What to skip: - Their pasta dishes. The chicken parm with linguini came in a very generous portion, but the sauce was watered down, the flavor lacking, and the chicken cutlets were dry and soggy. 3/5 - Seafood pasta (not pictured): Same issue with the sauce - bland and watered down. The portion was large, but the flavor didn't hold up. 2/5

The restaurant wasn't busy so we sat at the bar to watch football. We ordered wings and the special tacos of the day which were eye of the round tomatillo tacos with pico. We get the buffalo sauce and cajun dry rub on our wings which were 5 stars. The tacos not so much. For $15 the three tacos were tiny, 3 pieces of eye of the round on two tacos, 4 on third. The pico was tomatoes with a tiny piece of jalapeno and onion in water, weird. The tomatillo sauce was ok, but not the best. We LOVE this place but these tacos missed the mark. Service was good. At the end, Lauren took over. She was friendly and introduced herself to us and others at the bar. She mostly cashed us out, but we liked her friendliness. Go with confidence, it's a great local bar/restaurant with good, friendly service.

The sandwiches are really good and they have a nice little outdoor seating area in the warmer months. Some of the food is not homemade but they still do a good job overall. Wait time is usually about 15 minutes. They get busy but they keep it moving. Pro-tip: add cherry peppers to your favorite breakfast sandwich for a nice kick in spice and flavor.

I was really craving a…read morebagel with cream cheese, but all the shops I found that were on the way were closed because of the holiday. I finally came across this place. We stopped by. When we went in, we were the only people, but that changed 3 minutes into our experience - it was customer after customer after that. I think a lot of guys with hands on jobs come here to buy breakfast before work (it is convenient, cheap, and delicious). I finally decided on one of their specials which was a grilled cheese on sourdough. It came with bacon, avocado, tomato, and cheese. My mom wanted a traditional American breakfast so she had the platter - 3 eggs, bacon, and toast, with a side of coffee. Altogether it came out to $20 which was really good. We were in no rush, and I think they saw that so they prioritized their orders. They have milk (whole, oat, and half and half) and sugar for the coffee on a table to the right of the counter. While I waited, I admired the plants they had all around the windowsill. I was also loving all the natural lighting coming in. We noticed it was a bit cold inside. The bathroom is clean and warm. After about 15 minutes, our food was ready. Each half of my sandwich was big. I could see all the crispy bacon, the gooey cheese, the fresh avocado and tomato, and the perfectly crispy bread. The first bite was magnificent and so was the rest. The only complaint was that it did feel a but too oily. My mom's food was also good. The eggs looked great and the bacon was crispy just like she likes it. The only complaint with hers was that it seemed like instead of butter for the toast, they used congealed bacon fat. Overall, we had a great experience. Although it seemed like there were only 2 workers - one taking orders, and another cooking - they were very efficient.
