This was my first time trying 5 Guys. I was not impressed. My son recommended the fries with the cajun seasoning. Although they were hot and fresh, the seasoning for me was just ok. OK, so I follow a complete carnivore diet. I stopped by here to grab a couple of burger patties while my car charges at the charger across the parking lot. I explained to the young lady at the cash register that I wanted two burger patties with cheese. nothing else she comes back with $28 and change for two hamburgers. Ehh 3.5/4 The burger is good and the fries even better but don't come here too often due to the prices. If I'm wanting a fast food burger, I usually go in a different direction. The little burger is still very filling and the more toppings you add on the more stacked it becomes. It is nice to have all those toppings as options and mind you, Free. mushrooms and jalapeños anyone? Also, they state their patties are never frozen which is preferred. The Cajun fries are always fire and that extra overflow is always appreciated. I've always been to the other location down the street by the Costco on Tampa. Wish they had more locations. Not sure why they decided to have both just down the street from each other lol. Love love love everything about Five Guys. I love how soft their buns are and how customizable their burgers are! I always get a Little Hamburger "all the way" without tomatoes. Their little is just a regular, singly patty. The Cajun fries are a must and might want to size down because they toss in extra into the bag anyway and it's plenty. I love their Cajun fries and what you consider "soggy" fries. Absolutely love them despite how itchy it makes my mouth because of my peanut allergy LOL. It's tolerable though and my allergy isn't crazy, thankfully. The staff at this location are friendly and welcoming too. Lots of open seating and it's in a really nicely lit spot so all the sunlight comes into the restaurant! Great location and awesome food. Five Guys will always be one of my top fast food spots. Didn't key into the prices until today; wow. $9.50 for a "little" bacon cheeseburger, $8.50 for a hotdog with cheese, $4.40 for a "little " fry, and 2 regular drinks at $2.60 ea. $33 for two people?? Both combos are the same price as a "little" bacon cheeseburger. A purchase of two combos at either establishment doesn't exceed even $20! The company tries to market it as if the food quality is better than the other chains, but it is not. I got two greasy burgers with sloppy preparation and presentation. I got soggy, greasy fries that were loaded with salt. The ambiance is sterile and depressing under the boring fluorescent lights. On top of that, the prices were astronomical and insulting for an average-quality fast food restaurant. I ordered two regular cheeseburgers, two fries, a shake, and a soda. With just a $5 tip, it came out to $60 for TWO people. What? The first thing I loved about this place was the music, there were so many other things I would come to love it's hard to get them all down in one review LOL! This isn't your cheap fast food option, if you come here with three other people or people are going to need to spend about 50 or 60 bucks but it's WORTH THE EXPERIENCE!! I had to have the double bacon cheeseburger, what was really cool about this is that they have you tell them what you want on the burger and keep it really simple. My other friends had a cheeseburger with a single patty, and the other one had the barbecue burger. Spend the extra money and get the huge bag of fries, the trick will be emptying out the burgers and tearing the bag of fries up so the whole table can see them in a fry boat LOL!! Again the music just turned it into a party. And the best part about five guys is always you can have peanuts Peanuts peanuts LOL!! This location had the coolest and friendliest staff I've run into in a place like this. My wife and I were on our way home and had gift card we had received from a relative. We decide to try this Five Guys location. (2/10/2024 1:58PM As I was ordering, my wife was looking at the menu to decide how she wanted her burger prepared. I was shocked at the fact that 2 hamburgers @ $11.79 and 1 regular fry @ $7.29 ( $33.80 in total ) The burgers were terrible. The patties had zippo flavor, (2 patties that were like crumbled hamburger beef) The buns were wet to the point of dissolving.... ick!! The interior of the restaurant was less than clean, and the employees were uninvolved. Extremely tasty burgers very good and chunky. They put extra fries, so their small portions of fries feels like the bing portion at other places. They offer free peanuts, which is a very good gesture. In addition they have warnings for peanut allergies. Unfortunately they are flexible with orders. For example I asked them to throw a few of the fries I've ordered in my dog which they refused multiple times. Furthermore their menu is not accessible for those who don't speak English. Honestly not quite sure I enjoyed having lunch at Five guys! The pros: location is brand new, modern and clean. Staff was super nice and friendly, made me feel welcomed ( much more than Jersey Mike next door!) The cons: I paid $7.11 with tax for the little cheeseburger and it was just Ok. I frankly don't see why it justified paying a premium price compared to In'n'Out? I couldn't tell ingredients tasted better. My friends took the seasoned fries that were overly seasoned and spicy, and not that crunchy. The only healthy option seems to be the veggie sandwich which doesn't sound appealing whatsoever. Now open for business! This was the first time I've been to a Five Guys. Even in the Midwest, I'd see them everywhere, but I never stopped by. Last Friday I was blown away. On their opening day, the energy was great. The cashiers were friendly, welcoming, and even during their busiest hour, still chatted and made you feel at home. Their menu is simple, but leaves everything up to you with their vast topping customization options (all free of charge)! Their shakes were great with plenty of mix-ins to choose from, also free! The open-faced kitchen was packed full of cooks all working together to get orders out fast and fresh. Every employee was friendly and smiling. The food itself was great. The portions are huge, so mind what size you get! A "little" burger and a "little" fries is the equivalent to a regular sized portion at any other food spot, so order accordingly! Not to mention the crazy amount of free peanuts you can get on the side which is an awesome touch. I will definitely be back here very soon. What we ordered: Double cheeseburgers - medium size patty and lot's of toppings available to choose from. Not a huge burger, but pretty filling. Cajun Fries - tasty, the seasoning is good and not spicy. Ordering online was very easy and you could pick from the many many different toppings. It was easy to customize our burgers too, you can make it a protein burger and do a lettuce wrap or in a bowl or add an extra patty. Note: Fries are cooked in peanut oil and they do have peanuts onsite, just a heads up in case you have an allergy. I've had five guys many times but this location was the worst one I've been to. First off, the price was outrageous even for five guys standards. Paid $19 for little bacon cheeseburger and little fries (no drink). Second, the food, the burger was fine but the fries were terrible. Didn't taste like five guys fries at all. Portion was good, but ended up only eating a quarter because of the taste. Lastly, the store was not very clean, tables were messy. Would not recommend this location. read more
