I am addicted to this place, the food is so good. I did end up having an issue but management was quick to fix the problem. Like any business they do have their ups and downs. I have eaten here a lot since they opened and some days are better than others but that happens at any business. Usually the food is great and the service is awesome!! My neighbor mentioned five guys. I had never eaten there. So I went to try it. The burger was OK, I'm not sure it was worth the price. The fries are really good. And I don't know why they call that a shake; has no ice cream in it. The fries are good...but if you take them to go, they get soggy way to quickly. Oh, and remember...don't close the bag if you take it to go. Overpriced and over rated. Beautiful fresh toppings mask two mediocre, undercooked fast dood patties. They forgot to make my shake, which I had to wait for after my order was "ready". What I received was a runny pink slurry, akin to a cup of strawberry Quik. This was all buried under a pile of oversalted filler fries, so large that not even my dog could finish them. Five Guy's is delicious, always consistent, and like Peter said, the fact that this new location is closer to where I live and work than the Archer Rd location, it just seems so much better! IT is usually really crowded, but they are pretty fast and the burgers are worth the wait (maybe about 15-20 min if it's really busy). read more

I love this place for what it is - higher quality fast food, priced appropriately. There's no dollar menu, but there's also no walk-in freezer. You can tell the fries used to be potatoes, and you can tell the salty brown thing on the bun is made from some sort of coarsely ground grazing mammal (I'm like 99% sure it was a cow). They're not doing anything fancy; they're just doing everything well. They also seem to be enjoying doing everything well - everybody behind the counter is in a good mood when I go there, and that makes a difference! They've also got, as far as I know, the only celiac-safe gluten free fries in town. If I was going to get all monogamous about french fries for something other than health reasons, forsaking all others and so on, I'd still probably choose theirs. The music is a little too loud, and the location is inconvenient. There's also no variety - either your whole party wants burgers and fries, or you're eating elsewhere. Their burgers are amazing, but they need to carry gluten-free buns for people who are gluten free or gluten sensitive. I want people to taste there juicy burgers. Plus it's kind of annoying when you see someone having to build their own burger at a restaurant who makes her own burger for you. Flat out just don't get it. I have eaten at both locations twice, because I believed all the hype and kept waiting to be blown out of the water when these guys opened up, but no. Just no. They PRESS THE MEAT ON THE GRILL!!??? Any decent cook knows better than that. The meat is dry, has zero flavor and is waaaay overcooked. There are places in town where you can get really great burgers, like Red Onion or Ruby Tuesdays but this place is still open and a just don't stinking understand it. Deee-lish! The burger reminds me of a real burger, like from Louis'lunch, nice and greasy and flavorful. Similar to the In-N-Out burger too, which is wayyy yummy. I love the fast paced friendly service there. The up front guy (who hands you your food) was so hard-working and polite, looked you right in the eye as he handed you your food. I feel like I hadn't gotten that kind of treatment in a while! It's a bit expensive, but it's a good place for a "Special-Occasion-Burger-Craving". went to five guys 02/22/2017. I haven't been at this location in a year or so. Yesterday reminded me why. I didn't know you get two patties. No where does it say two patties per hamburger. Totally gluttonous but worth it. The burgers are HUGE. Two patties for a normal burger. One for the small order. They give you way too many fries so just order one small and share it. They give you a cup of fries and then toss a bunch more in the bag. I prefer the Cajun fries. read more

My sometimes greasy pit-stop after a night's out. The fries here are how can I sum them up in one word? Disappointing, they look good, but they lack taste, and are one of the blandest things I've ever had. Oh you want me to add salt and pepper by myself on the side? Doesn't seem like you're doing much work in presenting me an experience of what your homemade fries should taste like especially if you charge so much for them. My friends and I have never finished any of the fries by ourselves and always end up throwing them out or giving them to someone else. The burger itself isn't the most amazing thing in the word. It's a burger and it's mediocre at best, It's not special but it's not gross. It makes me full and does it's job but by no means makes me wanna return because of the taste. I've heard many things about five guys and expected better but if any other generic fast-food restaurant can beat your burger in terms of flavor, that to me is a let-down. read more

Tried to eat lunch at five guys today. Placed my order, the man taking the order repeated it back to me correctly. he than must have punched it in incorrectly. It happens not a problem. When I immediately pointed it out to a different worker who gave me my food that it was not what I had ordered, he proceeded to argue with me and kept pointing to the receipt showing the incorrect order. He grudgingly agreed to replace the cheeseburger still getting in his last word about how we can only do what we are asked to do. I gave him back the incorrect one and he curtly said we cant take that back now. I walked out without the burger I had paid for. How can a place that charges $6.00 for a hamburger think they can treat customers like criminals when it was their mistake. No wonder the place was empty at noon. So if you want the most expensive burger in town and poor service to go with it give it a try....not. read more

This is pretty much a worthless review, as I think everybody knows Five Guys is as good as you're going to get for a fast food burger around here. Sometimes people complain about the price, but let's make a simple comparison here. For $5-$6, you can get a crappy ass, stale, and small burger combo from McDonalds that leaves you unsatisfied and maybe even still a little hungry. For $10 or so, you can get a massive, made-on-the-spot, and juicy burger with all kinds of toppings and enough fries for 2 people. The fries are good, but can be hit or miss. Sometimes they're a little soggy. If they were always crispy, they'd be perfect. They actually remind me of the best fries I've ever had, a place from my childhood. Boardwalk Fries. Orgasm in a cup, those were. Unfortunately, Boardwalk closed many years ago and Cinnabon or whatever place in the mall now resides at it's old location. Wait, this is about Five Guys, not reminiscing about my childhood. Speaking of reminiscing, Lisa's Pizza in the mall (closed about 15 years ago), was the best pizza ever. Good and greasy burgers. Fries are good, too. Not sure that they have anything else. I like that you don't have to pay more for extra stuff on burgers. Very friendly staff. They've always been super nice and outgoing. Don't go if you're on a diet. Do go if you're hungry. Also, get the smallest sized fries. They pile them in there. why in the world would ANYONE consider having a burger place that does NOT serve shakes? Have they heard "burger and shake" every time a burger is mentioned? yes, thats because they go together.....Ok, so with the obvious flaw being mentioned, I have to ask, why would they NOT offer a "Veggie Burger" like other places? If you're taking a family there for lunch, and one person doesnt eat meat, they're out of luck. Honestly, a Veggie Burger (even frozen like your burgers are) would be a huge improvement. So, if this is your situation, go to Red Robin, they will let you (and encourage you!) to order any burger on their menu, and they'll make it a "veggie burger" for you. AND they have fabulous shakes that OF COURSE you order with your burger. *I ordered a Hawaiian burger that they made veggie and it was fabulous! So, Five Guys, wake up, offer options, or at least a veggie burger and of course, SHAKES. read more
