The sprinkle of sugar over the fries makes them the best takeout fries in the business.
Matt P.

This is your typical Wingstop, with similar layout inside to other locations I've been to. Service is good, with the typical wait time but this just means they're making your wings fresh. The Wingstop fries are the best I've had anywhere and the dusting of sugar they add makes all the difference. Their homemade blue cheese dressing is also immaculate. I'd fill a swimming pool with it. Wingstop is still small enough of a franchise that you feel the individuality with every order. They still take pride in the food they deliver, unlike some of the larger chicken wing restaurants. If you haven't checked out Wingstop yet, you're missing out.

Garlic Parmesan wings

Is there anything better than a carton of wings and a side of fries? No, the answer is just flat out no. Wingstop is quite possibly the best place for wings in this whole city. The pricing is fair and the quality of the food is top notch. I always get them to go because, honestly, the restaurant isn't the coziest place to sit and eat, but do not let that stop you. Get the dry rub, or spicy, or Garlic Parmesan, it doesn't matter! Pick a flavor, choose an amount, and get ready for a fantastic meal! My personal favorite is the Louisiana Rub on a 10 piece, all flats. Pair that with some of their fries and you got yourself a good time!

Trash fries. Don't get.

Beautiful day so we sat outside in a lovely patio area. Great beer menu with draughts imported or domestic as well as a full bar. The menu was pretty much standard bar fare I had fish and chips and my wife had Mac and cheese. The fries on my plate were covered in salt. I tried to shake it off and wound up with a layer of salt on my plate. Most restaurant food is too salty for me as I cook at home low salt but this was crazy. I decided to try the Mac and cheese. It also had a cap of salt on it. I tried to dig to the bottom of the crock thinking that wouldn't be salty but I was wrong. The dish was prepared with salt throughout. Time to go and I did complain. The waitress said she hears that a lot and she offered to replace our meal to go but we didn't take her up on that offer. The fish was great! And we loved the vibe of the restaurant inside and out. I would go back again but knowing that I would order SALT FREE !!

To be honest it looks like a old pub but we were pleasantly surprised how great the food was. We started with the Kalbi burnt ends which were great with its kimchi mayo. Then we shared the Nashvillle hot chic-fil-loosey which was fried perfectly. The mac-n-cheese which was creamy and delicious and finally the enormous chili dog topped there pbr chili that has beef and smoked sausage. All in all we had a great experience and can't forget about there great draft beer menu!!!!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Chris, a manager who always checked in to make sure everything was to my liking. Overall, I have been treated very well during all of my visits. In addition to the great service, the food is also extremely delicious and the restaurant has always been very clean whenever I've visited, even during peak hours on game days.

It wasn't busy(at first) but we still felt rushed. Ordered an app then we ordered entrees. After waiting a bit, he comes back and says there are no pasta dishes in the kitchen. Like wtf, I mean they didn't tell u when u brought the order to the kitchen? But then you bring out the extra side/ house salad that I ordered to go with the pasta. I didn't want it anymore .Fast forward, then this guy brings out the checks while I'm still eating. Like really? And then I was a little offended that he gave us 2 separate checks without asking.Whats funny is that Me and my best friend always try to pay for each other lol, so who told him to do separate checks. But I try not to assume... Now the food was just okay. Had the gator tail and it was salty. Then after "no pasta" I went with the summer salad. And I guess they were out of stuff for this too. It was missing the Blueberry and the apple. Guess they figure they would see if I noticed. Well I did notice, i was just over it, and was just too late complain. Sounds pricey but my wife and I spit it and still had some leftovers. Also, this might seem a bit off topic but this place has some of the best fries. Great seasoning. My platter came with a generous portion of gyro meat, and the side salad was nicely prepared. If you haven't tried this place and you like a good gyro, drop by, you won't be disappointed.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I think want to be honest. I came to The Spot recently for lunch…read moreand was not happy with my experience. Located in midtown, this appears to a fast casual place that caters towards college students. They serve "Greek" street food, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. The food is relatively inexpensive. Service is fine, actually the people working there are friendly. Food is made to order and comes out quickly. There is some seating available inside (it's limited) but there are plenty of tables in the hall. I ordered the Street Chicken Souvlaki which included grilled chicken with tomato, onion, fries inside a pita, topped with ketchup and mustard. This was a very large portion. The pita was good, but pretty much fell apart the second I picked it up. While I liked the chicken, it was over seasoned and I didn't care for the "sauced" quality of it. I'm not sure if they marinated it or tossed it in some sauce, but it was too much. The fries were decent, but not super crispy. I felt that they were not necessarily and a little over-the-top. The tomato was fresh and but the red onion slices were very thick. The mustard and ketchup didn't work with the seasonings on the chicken. The dish was just all over the place and I couldn't even finish half of it before I started feeling sick. I ordered a side of onion rings as well. This was a large order and the size was great. But these onion rings were over-battered and were fresh, but not crispy at all. I bit into one and ended up pulling out the whole onion rings. Not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was so heavy and overly salted I couldn't even eat half of it. I ended up giving it to a homeless person on the way out. The food left my stomach in shambles the rest of the day. Service is fine. But the food is not desirable. It is safe to say I will not be returning, which is unfortunate.

Let me start by saying I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. I've worked in the service industry,…read moreboth bussing tables when I was younger and waitressing, so I'm very understanding. For me to leave a review this negative, the service truly had to be poor. Last night, we chose this place to celebrate my Irish heritage with a green beer and some light food. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating, which is a plus. However, when we arrived, there was a line of people waiting for a table, and it quickly turned chaotic. One woman tried to cut the line, and another wanted to argue over a small booth that her family wouldn't have even fit in. Eventually, we were seated. I understand that holidays can be busy, so we were trying to be patient. Our waiter came over, dropped off menus, said "I'll be right back," and disappeared. After 25 minutes of waiting at the table, I had to flag down another waitress. Meanwhile, at least three tables that were seated after us already had drinks and had placed their food orders. I understand being busy, but at the very least, we should have been greeted or offered drinks. The waitress we flagged down said she would help us, which seemed promising at first, but then we waited another 20 minutes just for drinks. I'm not sure if it was an understaffing issue or something else, but the service was extremely poor. We considered leaving a one-star review, but the waitress did seem like she was trying. The food was okay, we ordered light items, and it still took quite a while to arrive. Overall, we would recommend skipping this place. There are plenty of other options in town that will treat you better. We work hard, and when we go out, we expect at least standard service.
