This place is so cool. I love the atmosphere and laid back casual vibe. The kosher dogs and cajun fries are my favorite (bacon cheese dog). The staff calling out the numbers for made orders are really friendly and it seems they enjoy their jobs (singing to some radio tunes). I still prefer In n Out. This is my second trip. The only thing Five Guys has better is their beef is juicier. Double cheeseburger and fries will run you about $11 with tax and that's not even including the drink. In n Out is a better value and overall better burger, but I do like these Guys' burger. Came here on the way to LAX airport, and was pleasantly surprised! This is a burger and fries type of joint, so didn't expect much, but boy, was I in for a treat!. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, and the cashier was kind enough to let me know that the small size would be sufficient since the regular was a double. I can eat a lot, but he was right ... the small is more than enough. The fries were fresh and very tasty. Since I let him know it was my first time there, he also gave me a free drink. I don't fountain sodas there - I found Caffeine Free Diet Coke and Diet Sprite! I have never, ever seen Caffeine Free Diet Coke in any restaurant before, so I was very, very impressed. The Burger at Five Guys are relatively good. You can customize your burger with different topics and you can get burger with two patties. The taste is even better than in other fast food burger restaurants. You can have peanuts for free as a snack. The fries are ok, they were a bit too cold. To conclude it's a good alternative for fast food, but for what you get it's in my opinion too expensive. The having your meal there, I wouldn't recommend that place, because of the atmosphere, it's better to take your meal with you. read more

Better than In-N-Out. I said it. Yep these burger are thick and juicy and remind me of how In-N-Out use to taste about 5 years ago before they cut back on the meat to keep prices down.To keep a burger juicy you have to start with a decent size patty. In-N-Out burger are so skinny now that they are dry and you really can't taste anything but the bun and the lettuce. So I will now be spending my burger dollars at Five Guys. Yesterday on the way back from a swimming pool, my boyfriend and I stopped for dinner. I had the cheeseburger, regular, fries and regular drink. My total was $11.98. I like that they offer different toppings. My cheeseburger with BBQ sauce was yummy, but I wouldn't overpay for a cheeseburger again. They serve a large portion of fries, but I still wouldn't overpay for a cheeseburger and fries. I grew up right next door to the original 5 G joint in Virginia and I can't fathom why the VA version is a million times better than the Cali version... but still, it's good enough. The burger at this location is good, they give ample amount of fries and the service is friendly. This location is similar to the others ive visited... order your food at the counter and you can eat peanuts while you wait. Five guys burgers just don't do it for me though... I would much rather have habit or in n out. Worst service I have ever experience!!! No manager in site. We were there last week. 35 minutes went by after asking several times where our order was. My first impressions are that this is just another typical burger joint which attempts to emulate the In&Out Burgers simple menu style. Retro 50's red and white there is no drive through here. I went to this place after a few friends raved about how good it was. I really was not impressed. The burger was super soggy from being wrapped in the foil. Also, if you don't ask for the "mini burger" your burger comes with two patties. I think this should have been made clear on the menu. Burgers are small (like in the "where's the beef?" commercials if you remember those) and bland. Fries were ok. But overall I thought it was very expensive for what I received. My boyfriend and I ordered cheeseburgers, a hot dog, and large fries to split. My burger was cooked perfectly, but I was unaware that it was two burger patties. Had I known this, I would've asked for single. I got the normal fixings on my cheeseburger and then added jalapeno peppers. I highly recommend this because they use fresh jalapenos instead of the pickled kind! It took my cheeseburger to a whole different level. My boyfriend said his hot dog was just okay and I thought the fries were not crispy enough for my liking. Also, I hate how my clothes smelled of straight peanut oil. Grosssss. I love the simplicity of this place and since it originated in Northern Virginia (my original neck of the woods) it brings back some familiarity. The menu is single or double burgers, hot dogs and two styles of fries. Peanuts are there to eat while you wait but not to many as you will want to enjoy your burger. Its an assembly line style cooking and since this place is pretty packed they do a good job of getting you in and out. Everything tastes fresh and prices are right. I am sure that this will make many west coasters mad but this place is better than In and Out Burgers. Not really sure why so many like that place do they do. Being very hungry after our long flight, we were in the mood for some juicy burgers. Heard about Five Guys but never had the chance to try it before. Had their Bacon Cheeseburger with onion and mushroom and fries in their Cajun style. For the burgers you have the option to add whatever toppings you want. They have a good selection of toppings to choose from. Paid about $10 for everything. The burger was so juicy and tasty. Definitely hit the spot after a long flight. The regular fries were pretty big in portion. I would suggest getting the Cajun style rather plain. Although it was late at night, there was still quite a line of people. At 10pm on a Sat night anything may be tasty, but after arriving right before closing, instead of being greeted by we are closed comments, the employees were very courteous and helpful. Now for the food. The burgers were tasty, the Cajun fries were spicy and flavorful, and the milkshakes thick and rich. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the grilled cheese was nasty. The prices are pretty high for a cheeseburger. They are good though. The fries are just the right amount of salt and potato.

Ok first of all this five guys is in the same eating area as whichwich, Pizzarev, rubios, sabra grill, etc at 469N sepulveda which is the east side of the street, parking is behind. I am a diehard cant find another burger better then in-and-out fan. I just tried the little cheeseburger and little fries. Verdict??? Well not bad, i was digging it in its own way which was called "all the way". It was friggin delicious! And pretty huge, get a little burger for most people. The all the way is ketchup mayo lettuce tomatoes krinkle cut pickles grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. The fries are skin on and have that extra flavor thats not there from unskinned potatoes. Everything made fresh it was great! Why not 5 stars? Well they give you free peanuts, then why??! I think price. 10 for a cheeseburger and fries and they do give you a lot and i was stuffed but its still a lot, With soda and itd be a 5, yes i admit this burger has its own niche and not comparable to a simpler in and out burger.
