I'm a burger fan. Like, big. I could eat one everyday. So when I saw the Five Guys move into the area, I knew I needed to try it. Burgers come with a lot of toppings and sauce choices. I'm a basic burger lover, but the addition of the grilled mushrooms and onions was yummy. You have a choice of getting any burger with one or two patties. The one thing I didn't get was the giant bucket of peanuts. I assume they were to be snacked upon, but I didn't get the relationship between burger and peanuts. The burger was very good. Fresh, with a homemade quality. Service was a little on the slow side, but with freshly grilled burgers, that's what happens. The best thing about this place was the fries. EXCELLENT. I love In and Out, but the fries there lack a certain greasiness and saltiness that I equate with the french fry experience. Overall, I think In and Out is a better deal, but I wouldn't hesitate to make a trip back. Maybe next time, I'll try the hot dogs. read more

Five guys made it onto the scene with a lot of hype from transplants that remember them from back East or the Midwest or whatever it is they started... Overall it was a pretty good burger, on par with something you might get at your buddy's backyard BBQ but with more toppings. But for less money the Habit across the street or even In-N-Out down by the airport serves up a better fast-food-ish burger... Definitely worth a try, but there are just too many local burgers that are better. read more

Five Guys is AWESOME! Love the burgers, hot dogs, and french fries. There are places that offer a more "premium" burger, but none that give the same bang for your buck! One thing to note: The quality varies from location to location a bit. The fries are a little more crisp at some, and the burgers are more juicy at others. I'm told there are a few locations that get it spot on for both, but have yet to go to one. On the other hand, I'm nitpicking and talking about the difference between a 9 and a 10 score. read more

I'm gonna up the ante on this place. The service is the best - friendly, energetic and personal. The burger patties are always steaming hot and cooked just right with fresh buns and crispy extras. The fries are amazing. Salted and crispy - overstuffed orders. Great! Yes. You might have to wait a few minutes longer because the beef is wholesome and not the pink, slimy mixtures of habit and in/out, but what you get is an amazing burger that tastes like it came off your home grill, not a fast food microwave/warmer. There is absolutely no equivalent taste comparison with the other fast food places around here. Five Guys tops it. So, take the "not fast food" complaints as a positive review of this restaurant. The food is healthy, fresh, hot and wholesome. It's served with energy and passion. It's always the same: consistent goodness. See you next week for lunch guys, I love your place. read more

In this burger eaters opinion, this places misses the mark. Maybe it was built up too much? Maybe I just know a good burger? I am not sure, but really I feel there is much ado about nothing when it comes to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I appreciate the ability to choose your toppings, but was not impressed with the grilled onions or the mushrooms. Everything else seemed to lack flavor. I will say, I enjoyed the fries a lot. I have heard other mixed reviews on their fries but on my trip I had deliciously crispy, well done fries. As for the environment, it is generally very bust at lunch but everything was clean and well stocked. I did appreciate that the menu was explained, because on first glance for a new comer it is a little convoluted and overwhelming. This place is not horrible, but there is a Habit Burger right across the street that I would much rather frequent. What can I say? Bomb place!!! i love how their food is really good n tasty n juicy... Its whatever you want to put on the burger so if you complain about your food, umm... you told them what toppings you wanted. Maybe its you that doesnt know how to put stuff thats good on it. The meat is bomb no matter what... I drove from Glendale to this place with my family and we go often. Now there is one close but this is the 1st place i have had it and I LOVE IT! its very different from In N Out... its different and you can add alot more things in it then you can with In N Out even tho i love that place too. LOVE Five Guy's burgers. I've always felt that the fries are just so-so (although a bit better if you get the cajun seasoning). I also like that they give you vinegar for the fries. The meat is always better than most fast food burger joints and the bacon is always crispy and the cheese plentiful and melty. Good parking and very friendly staff. read more

We were at Five guys on Sunday 12/13/2020 to pick up some burgers for dinner It was a big disappointment this is only our second time going there for dinner the first time we went it was about three weeks ago and the burgers were awesome they made him just the way we asked for them and they were perfect they were so good that we didn't mind paying more as they were worth it but this Sunday it was so bad that I will probably will not be going back they asked what we wanted on our burgers and of course each burger had different condiments like bacon lettuce tomato or whatever and they ignore everything we ordered to be put on them all they put on it was a bun meat and cheese and everything else was ignored on they were nasty I asked for a grilled cheese sandwich with two patties bacon grilled onions and what I got was a hamburger bun upside down I guess they were trying to make it look like toast it was horrible It gets me mad to see how the restaurant industry it's all crying about getting shut down but when they give the consumer is trash all they've done is raise her prices and lower the standards on the food they sell us is not just five guys they are all doing this read more

Best $4 burger around (IMHO). In fact, I think other than missing the gourmet toppings--it's every bit as good as an Umami or Counter burger--yet it's around $9 cheaper. The jr. burger is plenty big for an adult. All toppings are free so load it up. Share some fries with your group because even the small is more than enough. Eat some peanuts while you wait. Delicious Burger (Had the single cheese, they call the jr) The fries are given in a cup and large portions. That's the best thing about them unfortunately. Fries are not my favorite and the prices are highly inflated. I thought the home of the $10 Burger was Houstons but was wrong. From my experience NOTHING good can come out of Washington DC - but I might have to re-think that. Five Guys burgers are quite tasty. The options for your own creation makes this a fun place to explore in addition to satisfying the taste buds. The burgers are OK. Not as good as some of the competition. I really like the way they do the french fries. My main problem with the place is that I took my 12 year old son there and we each got a Cheeseburger, Little Fries, and a soft drink. The total came to $26 for the two of us. My experience here earlier this week left a lot to be desired. Originally, I came to this plaza looking to get PizzaRev for lunch. Despite it being only 11 a.m., the line was out the door, so I went next door to Five Guys. The food itself was fine. It wasn't "knock your socks off" quality, and it's not cheap by fast food standards, but it wasn't bad, either. What bothered me was the service and pace of the kitchen. If you're in a rush and looking to grab something and go, you're going to be disappointed, as this Five Guys is VERY slow. It took 15-20 minutes for me to get a burger and fries. I understand you can't make meat cook faster, but one would certainly expect quicker service from a "fast food" restaurant. If you're not in a hurry, this probably won't bother you, and as I mentioned, the food wasn't bad. However, for what I needed, I was very disappointed. read more

Overrated and overpriced. I ordered a single, no onions, no mushrooms. When I got back to the office and was ready to eat it, I noticed that there were almost more mushrooms than burger. I checked the order slip and it said onion 'no', but there was not a 'no' by shrooms, so it looks like they gave me extra mushrooms instead of none. It's a good thing I'm not allergic. After picking off all the mushrooms, the burger was overcooked and dry, and the fries were limp and lukewarm. I would have taken it all back if I could. Ah well, the drink was good. read more

Went during lunch which was a big mistake. The wait was super long. They have free peanuts, I guess that's to make up for the long wait and to prevent people from attacking each other over near starvation. The burgers and fries were good, but nothing out of this world. So much hype about it being a rival to in-n-out, but it still has a lot of catching up to do. When I unwrapped my burger it was all smashed and I don't get why they serve it in bags if people are eating in? No Drive thru, fail. They got off to a bad first impression by skipping my friends number. The price is ridiculous. 12 bucks for a meal! I'd sit through any drive thru line at in-n-out for way better burgers at a lower price any day. Good enough to try, good enough to go back once every change in season haha. read more

And with someone who is allergic to peanuts it was a turn off, so we got it to go. But the food was good! So god I'm going back! First time at Five Guys and I am soooo hooked! The burgers were fresh and so juicy. I loved that you can plenty of complementary topping choices. The menu consists of burgers, fries and hot dogs. The cajun fries are quite tasty and a regular size feeds four. They give you so many fries! Service was really quick and you can listen as the shout the orders back and forth. They offer peanuts while you wait which is kind of fun for the kids. I found the place very clean and I liked the red and white decor. Reasonable prices....family of 4 was $28.00. First experience at a Five Guys and I don't plan on coming back. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and got a squashed burger with no bacon, no cheese and no mayo. All of which I asked for. My boyfriend went back to asked for the bacon and cheese and they proceeded to tell him that I had only ordered the bacon, not the cheese. I never order plain hamburgers so I sure doubt that. Where do I begin? With the soggy burger or the burnt fries? I place an order over the phone because I was starving and it was about dinner time. I get there and my order isn't ready. No big deal I can wait a couple mins. But how long does one wait until you finally ask the guy who's sliding buns across the table "where's my order"? So he ask for my name and I give it to him and he said I'm waiting for the fries. If I would of known my fries were gonna taste like charcoal I would have said "keep them" but anyways. Turns out a "regular" burger here has two patties and a "little" has a single patty. Good idea to clarify that on the menu or explain at the register. The guy who served up the order was attentive and friendly, but first impressions count. The tables were messy and the napkins needed to clean it up were a scavenger hunt. The food is fresh enough, but for the price they need to consider either improving their staff habits at the point of ordering, or just reduce the cost, because this place doesn't come close to cutting it for the price. read more
