Seemed like a less clean SmashBurger. Way over-hyped for an overly greasy burger.

So we tried 5 Guys Burgers & Fries, yesterday. The burgers were great! You can choose from big burgers and small burgers and frankly I'm glad we stuck with the small burgers (they weren't so small). You also get to choose from a variety of toppings, all of which are free, including bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms, and the usual suspects. The fries are to-die for and one serving is enough for 4 people (really!). The atmosphere is a little austere and was packed with family-types and lots of rugrats running amok, but I wouldn't expect less with those prices and the quantity of food you get. If it were on my side of town, I'd be getting takeout from there on a weekly basis. read more

Worst burger EVER! And EXPENSIVE! 2 adults, 2 kids 3 small burgers, 1 large burger, 1 fry = $32. Greasiest ickiest food ever. So not worth it. Live and learn. I'll NEVER go back and will recommend to whoever listens they should do the same. read more

These are great burgers! The "little" burger, which is just one patty, was more than enough since you get all the toppings you want. I got mine with bacon and they definitely didn't scrimp. The fries are very good--don't taste like fast food fries. One order can definitely feed more than one person. read more

Great for the KIDS! A great place for teens to go to eat too. Sometimes hard to find a seat so go early on the weekdays.

My fiance and I went here in part a few days ago (yes I know I'm late in writing this), for dinner. At first we were going to Smashburger, but then I suggested this place based on the Diners, Dives, and Drive-In on the Food Network channel. So we gave it a try. I would have only given it 3.5 stars though but I moved it to a solid 4 because of the friendly staff who helped me out when my burger wasn't correct. Ok, so we walk in and yes were greeted by a "2 walk in the door!". We waited a good few minutes while the person in front of us couldn't figure out how to use a credit card. But once they paid and we were up we started the very easy ordering process. I got the bacon burger (love bacon and bbq sauce on the same burger) and my fiance just one of their hamburgers. We both dressed our burgers ordered drinks, him the regular fries and me the cajun. What we didn't realize is the free peanut boxes they have for customers to snack on while they wait. Dang it. Oh well, next time. The wait was worth it for the burger. Not overall greasy but just the right amount of juices. The fry portion were huge but sadly very very greasy. Next time we would order just one. Yea I would recommend it but if your not fan of grease this isn't the place for you to eat. Otherwise give it a try. read more

Four employees behind the counter. Three seemed completely untrained and had no ambition to complete customer orders. Manager was cooking the burgers and trying his best to manage the rest of the incompetents. Took 25 minutes to get our food. Burgers were burnt. Typically, always love Five Guys, however last night took a group of seven people and we all were sick after dinner. Called today to tell the Manager and the Manager was nice, but didn't offer anything or even apologize until we were getting off the phone and then it was a simple, "sorry". Was't really looking for anything at all, as we just wanted to let them know, so they can check that batch of beef for quality. Incredibly surprised at not only the lack of concern about the health of customers, but also their lack of customer service is trying to ensure we continued to be customers. read more

This place was a complete rip off, the burger was mediocre at best, cheese was cold not even melted, and the bacon was beyond reasonably cooked (burned). For the almost $40 price tag to feed 3 people, I was expecting much more. Sad when burger king can make a better burger out of filler, and they wont burn your bacon. read more

As usual a great burger and fries! The only reason there are not 5 stars for me is because of the wait and cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables needed wiped down really bad and there were fries all over the floor.... Looked like they may have had a really annoying group before we came in. read more

The staff is always upbeat, friendly, and on top of their game! The food is delicious and great quality.

The fries here are amazing. The burgers are as close to homemade as you can get, but the buns are a little lacking. Halfway through they're totally soggy and a little blah. All in all, a great place to clog a few arteries. read more

Found this chain while on a trip in Atlanta, and searched it out when i got home, found one close, thank goodness .. Mmmm burgers are the bomb, just remember to order a small for single patty, and a reg gets 2 patties read more

The food is good. So greasy I just about had a heart attack. I did get heartburn after eating it.

My personal favorite burger in Denver. They sell classic cheeseburgers here with no frills or special sauces. Just a standard burger, and it's wonderful. The cajun fries are worth trying. Only downside I can think of is cost, which is a little high. Be prepared to spend upwards of $12 on a burger, side, and a drink. read more

Do not be in a hurry when visiting here! You will be waiting at least ten minutes. I think it is great that everything is cooked to order and the taste is fantastic. But unless your entire crew is eating from here, everyone else will be grumpy that their food is getting cold. Portion control is up to you as well; no matter the size french fry you order, they dump at least a single serving in the bag. read more

Went to this location a few nights ago and my burgers were made completely incorrect ... The managers Quinn and Frank were great and helped fixed the problem quickly. They were both very friendly and pleasent, and we will be back again! read more

Simply amazing. Get the burger with everything, it is absolutely amazing. Not a big fan of the fries, I like the McDonald's type fries better. The burger here is unsurpassed by anything else that's out there including In & Out. I tried them when I visited L.A. and it was good, but nowhere near as good as this place. read more

A good burger, sure. But having eaten at the original location back in the 80's, I can tell you now: you aren't eating five guys. The problem here is that you're eating at a franchise. It would be a wise move for Mr. Murrel to buy back all of his stores and get them back to corporate standards. I'm not saying it was bad; but take a trip to Washington and tell me what you think of the difference. read more
