When it comes to fast food hamburger places, most people would say that they are all alike. Both in service and selection. But I found that Carls Jr. tends to go outside the monotony of just regular burgers. In this particular visit I was able to treat myself to an interesting creation known as the Hangover Burger. A wild combination of breakfast and lunch consisting of not only a hamburger patty but also an fried egg. While an egg on a hamburger is not new, the way it was presented to me was, in the fact that there was also tater tots and various different sauces and other condiments included in this concoction resulting in an interesting and surprising taste outcome. I shall find myself visiting and trying other fascinating menu items more often. read more

My first and only time I will ever go here again. The worst food I have never been able to eat. McDonalds at least would have been edible. Ordered fish sandwich, gross, tastes awful, do not eat. Onion rings. Lol. Just round brown things overcooked, over seasoned overly greasy, this is not any sort of example of an onion ring. So gross, did not eat. Vanilla shake fine Except for the 'whipped cream' this wasn't whipped cream, this was some industrial ultra processed chemical compound made to look like whipped cream. Disgusting. this location is overcharging merchants, and pocketing the difference. I went to this location today and was overcharged. When I asked for a receipt to review what I ordered before I paid. rudely the lady working the drive-through refused to provide me a receipt to show what I have ordered and stated that she couldn't give me a receipt until I paid for my food. I went to the front and asked for a receipt and the manager in the front stated the same thing and then proceeded to re take my food in front of me. Once he rang up my food there was a $13 difference in what that lady was charging me. I do not feel like this is a common mistake because this happened at the same location before! If you have a job that requires customer service you should be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner. People should be able to go to a restaurant and order without being cussed at. I have never been to a Carl's Jr. I know, how could this be?! well being born and raised in chicago, we simply don't have them so that's it.. My husband on the other hand is from the west coast so he loves him some CJ. We're actually pretty healthy folks so don't go for fast food often so when he said we should stop here before heading on a drive to Mt. Evans, I said sure. I really loved this place, the menu had so much more than a typical fast food joint, I mean fish tacos? and they were pretty damn good. I had the chicken tenders and unlike most places where they have that mystery meat feel, I really loved the seasoning of these. We split some fries and when our order was delivered to us (so fancy) the employee said "I put some fry sauce on your tray to try, let me know what you think" how nice and delish! if I ever see another CJ's I am stopping! read more

Ok so the beyond meat burger here beats Burger King's by a mile. It was juicy and thick. I also like that the burger it's self was wrapped in a paper so all the juiciness didn't slop all over me. You honestly can't tell the difference between a beyond meat and a cow burger. The waffle cut fries were thick and soft and well seasoned. This was my 1st time to Carl's Jr.'s and I will be back. Dayam, Carl's Jr. Really knocked it out of the park with those single, double and triple sliders added to your menu. Although every article I've seen only shows them sticking around until end of April '18? What happens then? Whatever the case, burger-loving friends, if you crave a tasty charbroiled snack but don't want to go the full $6-8 for a full-size gourmand burger, the sliders here are uh-maze-ing. O_O Single for $1, double for $1.50 and triple for $2. Hit them up during "Happy Hour" and get a triple for a double's price. These smaller burgers are flavorful, come with cheese and a pickle slice and soft buns, and are an amazing cheaper/"dollar menu"-zone alternative to ANY other chain out there. McD's. BK. Wendy's. The list goes on. Obviously, their full-size burgers are amazing too...but I'm kinda developing junkie-level fixation on the sliders. I've had drive-thru experiences only here, but the window staff is doing their job well.. So...great value and tasty burgs to satisfy your meat fixation. I went here for lunch for the first time because I was in this part of town. My thoughts are: Lemons were out, when asked to restock them they did but they were very thin! Can't squeeze a thin lemon! I went in today, walked up to the counter. There were 3 women there, one breaking up a box, laughing and telling jokes. I stand there making eye contact from 5 feet away. They see me but it takes a good 2-3 minutes before getting helped. As I'm waiting for my order, I try to get ketchup but the dispenser is empty. I tell them. My food comes and I have to ask for ketchup. As I'm eating I realize there are no napkins. At this point the employees are all in the back and I am alone up front. There are no napkins at the counter, drink machine, or tables. Seriously? Fortunately I had sanitizer in the car. Burger was lukewarm. I am a long time customer of Carl's. I stopped by for lunch after not having been there for several months. I always used to order the Six Dollar Burger, so I decided to try it again on my return visit. The meat always used to be tasty and like a a homemade burger. Wow, what a surprize this time. The burger was flat, I mean squished like the frozen burger stacks. It looked like it was cooked was hours earlier. The staleness was not the problem they have changed the meat process.
