Burgers are amazing. French fries are given in large portions so if you're only one or two people, I would definitely order a small ha ha.! the milkshakes are also so good. They have some very interesting flavors for example, bacon and vanilla, but they also have really good flavors like peanut butter cup, and vanilla and chocolate and snickerdoodle ambience is great. They even have some drawings that kids drew service is super fast and workers are nice. One of my favorite restaurants! read more

bro. i never liked five guys because the burgers tend to be dry and messy, and extremely expensive. but today it was absolutely busting. Ty, the cashier was the sweetest ever. made us feel welcome. Stopped here for just a shake the other day and it was quite delicious. Walked right in, no line, and the shake was in my hands in no time.

Food good , service sucks. Very rude cashier. Never ever ever again will we eat here again. 20.00 a meal and rude service.

I haven't gone to five guys in a long time, and to be honest it's kind of a shame how a lot of these fast food establishments are turning out. It makes me not want to eat out as much, and I already don't eat out much because everything is so expensive. Burgers costing $11 bucks and up, and that's al a carte. For the quality and quantity I don't think it's worth it to get a burger from Five Guys. I won't say the burger I got which was a bacon cheeseburger was terrible but the patty was a bit dry and not very flavorful, I would have preferred going to like a local restaurant and get a burger there instead. Such a shame. read more

This place is okay. I used love their stuff but it is insanely pricey for what it is. I'll get take out usually and live a mile down the road and the bun is super soggy by the time I am going to eat it. I hate that they put condiments on the bottom bun. The fries are usually okay but this last time they could have been cooked longer. Just not impressed these days. read more

Cheese burger all the way. Eight staff all just hanging out. All with gloves. But no hand hygiene. Crossing arms with gloves, pulling up pants with gloves. Scratching arms with gloves. Leaning on counter with gloves. Oh yeah all the same gloves. Used same paper towels to wipe trash can and tables... Nasty. After spending 40 dollars. Just angry about the cleanliness of the place. Won't pick this location again. read more

My review was removed for describing the appearance of the staff who were openly disrespectful and homophobic to my friends and I when we came in to get lunch. Updating the review because I find it important to flag unsafe spaces for the queer community. While upper management did reach out when the situation occurred and tried to apologize on behalf of their staff members I do not feel right with my review being removed as I am unsure if the three staff members still work here or not or if this is still the unsafe space I experienced. Will never return, would not recommend. read more

Love the ease of making the burger "my way", delicious fries and peanuts to munch on while waiting for food. Great hardworking employees. Only thing I dont like about the Five guys burger is there bun. No matter where and how fast I get the burger, its always soggy generic sesame bun wrapped in foil. For the price im paying, I would love to have a bun similar to Smash burger. Can I? read more

I can't figure out how anyone could find 5 guys burgers the best burgers. They're not even in the top ten. Unless you're talking only about Colorado, then they may be in the top five. We went into the 5 guys burgers and fries on Iliff and Parker Rd. I swear I had just walked into a In-n-out Burger minus the palm trees and plus the peanuts everywhere. So if you want just a hamburger, you order a little hamburger. If you want two patties you order a hamburger. Almost ordered the two patty burger, silly me, ordering a hamburger(thinking one patty). They finally had to explain how everything works. Too complicated. So we got our food and sat down to eat , hoping it's going to be as good as the one in Boise,Idaho. Wait for it... It most definitely was not. It was hot and fresh just lacked flavor and quality. I was really excited to try a different 5 Guys only to be let down. I didn't even finish my burger. I left feeling hungry still. If they were to build one really close to my house, I might try again but I definitely won't go out of my way like I did today. They're still better than any of Colorado's burger franchises. read more

Great food, friendly service! Love the chocolate shakes and the fries. Small fries are large enough for two people to share. Burgers are good, too. Only thing is, it's pretty expensive for what you get. read more

Their prices are pretty insane for fast food...$3 for a 21oz drink. No combos or discounts. The food is not awful but definitely overpriced. Oh yes, you will be expected to tip on top of that. A medium sized hamburger, fries and drink is going to run you $15 to $20...maybe more if you order large sizes. read more

Very terrible burger from 5 guys Would never eat again. We ordered burgers with everything and they were just a mess!! You couldn't pick it up and the buns of the burgers just fell apart. I think 5 guys can do better!! Especially for the prices they're charging!! C'mon 5guys!! read more

I haven't been here in quite some time, and after today? I'm not missing much. The burger was severely over cooked, the bun just came out of the fridge. ( it was hard & cold )The fries were itty bitty nibs & nubs & not real French fries. ( see picture) Usually there's a generous amount in the bottom of the bag, but not today! The price keeps going up as well; a cheeseburger, small fries and I do mean small, small Diet-Coke......$16 ! The place was empty & not very clean......it's not worth the 8 mile drive from downtown Denver. read more

Five Guys - Itty bitty nubs that are French Fries? C'mon! - Burgers Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I remember when this spot opened - it was great, but recently, the last year or two this location has suffered- food has been meh as of late, they forgot my cheese on my hot dog , they forgot my hot sauce, and my burger was dry, maybe it was dry because the grill guy continued to smash the pattys with the spatula until they were almost over done- definitely had all the juice gone..... my fries were not crisp at all, (the trick is to let them cool down after pre cooking them **hint hint) Vastly disappointed, perhaps they need to pay a little more competitively I mean me and my lady's meal was $30..... that's with out drinks..... the employees didn't seem to want to be there- and I get it,- they make less per hour than a burger with fries.... five guys just got voted Americas favorite burger, but obviously this location missed the bar- last time I came here I complained to the corporate office, no one reached out to me, it's been months- maybe even a year and I figured I'd give it a shot again.....#notmadjustdisappointed read more

Terrible Five Guys location. My burger didn't come with any toppings I ordered/asked for. This has happened twice now. Buns were cold. The cashiers are nice, but I'm not sure what goes on in the kitchen. Disappointing. Won't be coming back. read more

I've never eaten at Fatburger or Smashburger, but all I know is that I'll take a Five Guys' cheeseburger over a Citygrille or Cherry Cricket equivalent any day of the week. Dropped by, ravenous, after a frustrating morning house-hunting in the area. The place wasn't too busy, they took our order almost immediately, and the food was made swiftly. Although the burgers come wrapped in foil, I didn't experience any of the soggy bun "issues" some other reviewers mentioned. The lettuce and onions were fresh and crunchy, the tomato was decent, and the amount of ketchup and mustard was spot on. The patties were absolutely delicious - meaty, juicy, with a great grilled taste. As others have already noted, a large order of fries is more than enough for two people. The fries are amazing - well cooked on the outside but squishy and potato-y inside. The bottles of Heinz malt vinegar get a big thumbs up from me also. Sure it's a bit more expensive than the usual fast food burger joints ($4.99 for the double patty cheeseburger; $3.99 for large fries) but the food is delicious and super fresh/made in front of your eyes, the toppings are free, and you will not leave hungry. I ding them half a star for their lame policy of cooking all burgers "well done." Other than that, I am most definitely a fan! read more

Sorry people.. dont share the same sentiments with y'all. One, the BURGER was TOTALLY BLAND. The burger was so freaking DRY. Two, the fries, be it Regular or CAJUN, its WAY TOO SALTY and man... they had all 6 or so fryers... "up in the air".. meaning when we receive our fries it was a mixture of warm fries which the MAJORITY of the fries are FREAKING COLD.. Hubs order : * Mayo * Lettuce * Pickle * Tomato * Grilled Onion * Grilled Mushroom * Jalapeno Peppers * Double Cheeseburger My order was : * Single Hamburger * Grilled Mushroom * Jalapeno Peppers Was indeed a disappointment! Hubs and I wont step in this store EVER again let alone, should we try other outlets aka other FIVE GUYS restaurants all across the US... I wonder who are those who took the ZAGAT reviews claiming FIVE GUYS etc etc... Perhaps we went on a "bad day"... FRIDAY Oct 8th 2010. Time : 19:54:28hrs. Cashier : Brytne A. In & Out is for clowns who don't like good food, Five Guys is for people who care about quality. I have had this argument so much since the appearance of I&O and I had it...its just NOT GOOD. I drive (well my boyfriend drives me) from LoDo to Aurora for a Five Guys burger. There is nothing else I would travel to Aurora for besides this place. The burgers are just plain GOOD. You get as many toppings as you want for free which is nice if you like to load up like I do. The only thing they charge extra for is bacon. The cajun fries are awesome (fries with old bay type seasoning) and the plain fries are good covered in vinegar. If anyone knows of Thrashers french fries, Five Guys fries taste similar. You get enough fries in one small order to feed at least 2-3 people. The service is always friendly and they always act really excited when you walk in, like they have never had a customer before (but believe me they get plenty of business). It does get really busy sometimes, so I would suggest going after 7:30pm when it dies down a little. Highly recommended. read more

Yeah, I'll definitely be making the Denver - Aurora drive for another of these burgers in the near future. First off, you can pick and choose from a ton of different toppings and sauces, all for free. I placed my order online so I could take my timing in designing the perfect burger. Ordering over their website is super easy, and you can choose to pick up your burger "now" or any any 15 increment in the near future. Since I was ordering at around 12:30 on a Saturday, I chose the "now" option despite my drive, figuring they'd be busy, and maybe a little behind. The site showed that my order would be ready in 7 minutes - I was late picking it up, of course, but it was still warm. Staff was fine - seemed bored, but were moderately polite. No big deal either way. Anyway, got my burger (no fries) home and dug in. Amazing! For fast food, this is really, really good. Loved it. Can't wait to put some other crazy thing together online and drive back over - next time, with a 15 minute delay on the order. read more

Overall, I wasn't wholly impressed with 5 Guys. Certainly, the burgers were HUGE. (I gave up on the bread and eating mine as a sandwich, and just ate the burger with a knife and fork.) That being said: I could EAT JUST the burger. Meaning the quality of the beef was definitely above average. I just don't get the RAVE reviews this place invokes. They definitely overdo it on the fries. It's too much for any (sane) one person to eat, and seems a waste as well. Also: The grease soaking through the brown paper bag wasn't all that appetizing. The decor is somewhere between contemporary and retro burger stand. It's clean inside, and the employees seem cheerful. The peanuts are an interesting, if random, choice. You can grab a handful and munch as you wait.... just hope you don't have a peanut allergy, because the shells and 'dust' are everywhere. It's certainly a good (if large) quality burger, but there was nothing really outstanding or extraordinary about the actual flavor of it. Or of the bun. So it gets an A-OK rating from me. Middle of the road, in my book. read more

Honestly it was okay. Then again at $4.50 a burger (cheese) perhaps I expected more. Yes, you do get 2 patties for that price. Nice. However, I'd also like the bottom of the bun to be cooked instead of borderline raw. The meat was okay - perhaps a notch below In and Out. Honestly I think I like Smashburger better for both the burgers and the fries. The fries here were drenched in grease, although leaving the skins on was a nice touch. While drenched in grease they oddly tasted undercooked. Hmm... There's no recycling for all the foil they are wasting - a bit of a disappointment. On the other hand, there are bins of free peanuts and they do serve Coke Zero. They're in a strip mall along with the prerequisite cluster f*** of parking. You'll also have to deal with Aurora drivers. I'd give it a solid 3. It's OK. That's about it. I walked out with a cheeseburger, small fries, and a large drink for around $10.45 including tax -- for that price, Smashburger is a better bet. read more

The food is always great! But I usually like my burgers with a little less attitude. Megan c. Took our order this particular visit and was super rude. She didn't greet us and had a horrible looking facial expression the whole time she was taking our order. At the end of the order I wanted to confirm my order she gave me a snooty answer. Totally uncalled for! Ruined our entire dining experience! read more

Simply put: FRESH FRESH FRESH. From the hamburgers and toppings to the HUGE cups of real fries. And the ones with Cajun seasoning, they will knock your socks off. Don't forget to get to the bottom of the bag because there will be more fries in there as well. They really load ya up! The environment is simple but clean. Several tables but I can see that place getting packed, especially on Fridays. I have not been to all of the burger joints that have been mentioned in other reviews but in my opinion Five Guys is better than most, even Fatburger and Smashburger. It is a drive even from our south campus office but I will be making the trip back without a doubt! read more

I went into five guys after hearing rave reviews on these spectacular burgers. BOY was I let down. The bummer about things with this much hype is that it is VERY hard to live up to it. It was no where near extraordinary. The fries where meh and it was so not memorable. I will say I have had so of this countries finest burgers (apple pan) and so I have incredibly high expectations. Overall review; "I don't get it" read more

Good stuff here. Really should be 3.5 stars but the food is good. You can taste that the meat isn't frozen and really fresh. Nothing too crazy with the menu which makes it kind of nice to order your meal. I mean, I don't know how people can believe that this place is better than In and Out, but it's just a preference I guess. Too bad there isn't one in Denver, otherwise I'd hit this place up more. read more

I get so full every time I come here! I always get the fries Cajun style, which just means it packs a bit of heat. In addition, they always have free shelled peanuts as an appetizer I guess. The burgers are customizable and have tons of toppings. Delicious. read more

Minus 5 stars for sure! This location is the worst! My fiancée and I were food poisoned from a take out order that took forever to make. They were only 2-3 people in line and we were there waiting for 30mins! So ok, we were patient, thats fine. Got charged $30+ for 3 burgers, ok fine. (Must be really that good) Got home and the burger looked like shit, fine. We're starving! But that night we both fell ill pretty bad--unacceptable! So do yourself a huge favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Don't die eating here read more

Fantastic burgers, excellent options, great flavor. The only real knock that I have on this one is that this particular location seems to have a bit of a ventilation issue, and it's always lingering with a haze of grill and deep fryer smoke. It's not a big issue, but you can smell it on your cloths every time you go to this location. They do use pretty fresh stuff though which is probably why everything always tastes so good. The prices aren't rough to swallow either. read more

Five Guys is a new thing for me since I grew up in small-town Wyoming. However, I've got to say that they have their niche. The burgers aren't super amazing, but they are sufficient especially for the price. We don't eat here very often, but for a cheap, quick, and tasty burger, this is the place for us to go. I'm a fan of the peanuts to snack on while waiting, as well. As far as the fries go, they seem to be a hit or miss. I've had fries from here that were really under done and some that were just right. This last time they were excellent. I do like how they post the name of the farmer who's potatoes are being used on that day. Overall, the food is better than comparable fast-food joints for the same price. While 5-Guys isn't a 5-star, they definitely know their quick and tasty burgers! read more

I've been to this location a couple times and I'm just never impressed. I think this place has the same quality of food as other Five Guys. Soggy fries, burgers are made fresh but by the time they get to the table the bun is already soggy. Overpriced for such poor food quality. read more

Not sure what all the hype about five guys is at all. This was only my second meal at a five guys but a first at this specific location. To start, the cashier, Megan C. was very rude. I asked a simple question and she gave me a snarky response. I later watched her doing an excellent job of sweeping and cleaning glass but as soon as a customer walked in she threw a visible mini tantrum though the dining room to position herself back behind the register. The fries were plentiful as they had been before but this time my burger was extremely greasy. Enough to give me an instant stomach ache that lasted about an hour or so. Definitely not worth $23 for two burgers, a fry, a drink, a stomach ache, and rude service. read more
