Five below is great for kids and teen gifts. The general quality is good and much more durable than Dollar Tree finds. They have a nice offering of party supplies and decor as well as stationary, make-up, seasonal items, etc. TONS of candy from nostalgic, to by the piece, and a full array if Haribos. I don't feel the toys or sports equipment is very durable and I tend to steer clear. Self-check out is the primary mode of sale but they is always an employee in the vicinity available to help if needed. Easy peasy! read more

5 below is a discount store that has a little bit of everything. Most items are undee $5.00. A few things are under $10.00. Then under $15.00. I was not sure what I needed. I did find some Mind Craft items to make a gift bag for a 8 year old. If you are into gag gifts like fake poop, whoopie cousions and other weird stuff they have you covered. Items change daily. Lots of candy, plushies, Disney, toys, misc stuff and things you buy but dont need. A fun stop for all. read more

I came here a few times and found this location to be well-stocked and organized, with the merchandise I've been looking for online. The store is self-checkout only but there is an associate nearby to assist if you have any issues, please let me know. Most of the graphic shirts are located on the right side of the store mixed in with the seasonal items. The service at this location is terrible, I recently went to retrieve some items that I needed and typically love five below for their helpful service and kind attitude. However, today was different. One worker was incredibly rude to me. I am an older guest and was having some troubles at the self check out, instead of acting helpful or understanding one employee reacted hostile towards me and acted as if I was doing something wrong. She was incredibly hostile and acted as if I was stealing, during this she scanned one of my items twice and I was so nervous at the self checkout that I just preferred not to say anything. It was incredibly shocking and made my already stressful day worse, as I was buying goods for a birthday party. Hopefully I will not have this experience again, put a damper on my general view of this location and business. read more

I was there today at about 6:05pm with my two toddlers and my oldest had to use the restroom and on the way there I could feel someone walking right behind us trying to beat us. The first restroom was occupied and the next one was vacant and as we were approaching the vacant one it was a bald employee with a back brace that told us the restroom was there pointing to the first one that was already occupied and I asked him what was wrong with the second one and he just answered with "it's out of order" as he proceeded to unlock it right in front of us and use it himself. We came upon the store by accident. I asked hubby to drive to the next shopping center to see what was around. We had a few minutes to see the store quickly before it closed. We noticed the following categories: fitness, electronics, and gifts (t-shirts). But we intended to go the next night. The following night we took our time. Our son doesn't fancy shopping but he got two transformer toys out of it. We couldn't believe the steals & deals here, nothing is over $5.00. I did some gift closet shopping (I have a large family, so planning is a must.) I did buy two items for myself, green tea pockey (it's a childhood snack) and a neon green mini- roller (great quality- very sturdy). There is a party- planning department with lots of candy options. Lots of chocolate (I took pics), the nasty jelly beans, and select-your-own assortment (just to name a few). We learned that this particular location is just three months old. Clean, well-stocked. If you like Five Below, I recommend going to the one in Anaheim Plaza, or the one at Brookhurst - Chapman. I just got out of here at 4:15 and definitely it has not a type of cashier I'd want to meet! It just looked like she doesn't even want to keep the job, like how annoying could it be for her just to answer a simple question of a regular product that the customer need? Not even yet mention that kind of throwing receipt and pushing the bag back to you. I guess break and work time should be adjusted so she can feel more comfortable working there. read more

This is a great place to do Christmas shopping if you do not want to go to the mall. Walking-in I was surprised at how much items they have stocked in the store. You can shop for clothes, toys, and candy all for under $5. All the items in the store are under $5 and the highest item is priced around $4.80 - $4.90. The items they sell are in great quality and they carry plenty of them. The inventory are geared towards kids and teenagers. They have name brand toys and known Disney characters at affordable prices compared to the mall and Target. They have a candy section that you pack your own bag for either 10 candy for a dollar or larger candies for $5 a bag. As for adult items they carry items from work-out equipment, phone & laptop accessories, and make-up. I love the great selection of t-shirts for $5 all different designs and logos. They are constantly changing the designs so there are plenty to buy and not doubles of the same design. I always shop for goodie bag items here since most of those items are less than $2 and you can splurge without hurting your wallet. As for electronics they are cheap so be aware of their lasting power and do not be surprise that they only work for a month since you are paying less than $5 for the items. This goes for the make-up as well, they are not drugstore brands and instead off brands that are not famous or well-known so be careful if you do decide to purchase. This place does get messy during busy hours and it is hard to shop as many items are put in the wrong shelves with the wrong pricing. If you're a person of color, BEWARE. I was followed around the store, which was very uncomfortable and upsetting. This was my very first time shopping here, after hearing so many great reviews about the prices and selections, I was extremely happy to stop by. There were two young Latina women and one young Asian employee who were laughing, cutting there eyes and whispering to each other as they looked at me and my friend as we were shopping for my children's birthday party coming up. I ended up spending $134 anyway, due to the great prices and my kids party approaching very soon, but I should have left the store immediately. This was such an unpleasant experience. I approached the lead worker yesterday who was the also directly involved in this unpleasant experience to ask if there was a problem, she responded saying she was looking at the line (in my mind I'm thinking "there's no one else in the line but me") and she apologized for her behaviors but it was too late as I already felt racially profiled. I picked up a 2600mAh power bank for my cell phone for $5, a great utility light that's magnetic for working on the car for $3, a strip of led color changing lights with remote for behind my TV for $5, a great t-shirt for my little dog for $3 (decent quality too), a 2 lb bag of Haribo gold bears for $3, a great pair of precision tweezers for $2, some Hallmark Christmas ornaments for $2 each (the "A Christmas Story" line characters), a power strip for the Christmas lights/decos for $3, a 2019 joke-a-day calendar for $3, and the boyfriend even picked up a flying drone with a camera for just $5 with our purchase (we saw the exact same one elsewhere for $30) They have a ton of great stuff here from books and housewares like curtains, pillows, throw rugs and small fountains to makeup and workout stuff and even some clothing items (mostly seasonal stuff- currently is fuzzy pj pants for men and women and some nicer holiday style dresses for ladies) it's mostly all a good deal.
