This is quite possibly the worst Hallmark to go too, especially if you have children. Anytime I've walked around with my kids, the same woman that works there for years now is analyzing and making comments the whole time about not touching things. This most recent time was about a loose glass door, that's already loose and needs to be fixed properly, and the associate asked my child not to touch the glass door. They barely grazed the door and it lightly tapped glass against glass. Nothing broke, nothing was in danger of damage, just incompetent employees hovering for no reason. I'll never go back to this store again. read more

Kay's Korner is a great alternative to finding a card at Target, as they have a meaningful selection of cards and other items for various occasions. In a rush, the store came in clutch, and the ready-to-go gift bags with tissue paper were a lifesaver. If you're looking for a place to find retirement cards and gift bags (what I came for), Kay's is definitely worth checking out. I love Hallmark keepsake ornaments. I have been collecting these since 1990. And I am so happy that I have a Hallmark store in my hometown. Service is friendly and helpful. Hallmark did not have a couple ornaments I wanted in the store or online so I just provided them the names of them and I was added to a list. When the item came in, the gals at the store called me. Oh my goodness, I was so happy that these ornaments found a home on my Christmas tree. If you see something you like, definitely buy it! Don't forget to get a punch card for keepsakes. You buy 10 keepsake ornaments and you get $10 off the 11th ornament. Good bonus incentive. I need to get one more for the deal! Make sure you sign up for the Crown Awards with Hallmark. I popped in here today with my daughter and left within 10 seconds. We walked in, the two old ladies at the front did not acknowledge us, so I said "hello!" One of the old ladies did not bother to look at us and the other one just starred me down for a couple seconds. Literally starring at me and not saying anything after I said hello!!! Blatantly, intentionally, unapologetically rude! After I left I told my husband, you won't believe how rude those ladies were and he said "yes I can because they did the same thing last time." I had completely forgot why I don't go in there when we walk through those shops or eat nearby! So it was not the first time!! Do not go here. It's not jus lack of customer service - they do not want you in there probably if you have kids or probably if you don't fit a certain demographic if you know what I mean! read more

Since the Hallmark that I used to go to closed this summer, this is my newest go to Hallmark. It's in a great shopping center right next door to Brown Rice (Chinese food). Big parking lot. The place is always fully stocked and there are at least 2 people working at all times. I really like Hallmark products! They have such a great assortment of items. It's not just about greeting cards people! There are plenty of those though! I've gotten recipe books, recipe boxes, photo albums, necklaces, socks, wine glasses, picture frames, etc. They have so much to choose from. No matter what, hallmark cards will always be a little higher than other cards, but the selection makes it worth the mark up. I even got a super cute "Christmas Light" necklace. I have a bigger version from Disneyland that I love, so when I saw this small one I had to get it for my God daughter who is like a mini me. Perfect! And a whopping $5.99. So just take a look around, you're bound to find some type of memento to go with you greeting card. The only thing I don't recommend here is the rewards card called "Crown Club". I never EVER EVER earned anything...not a discount or free card in all the years that I had mine. The system constantly loses information so don't bother. It won't do you any good. This is not a reflection on this Hallmark....just Hallmark in general. read more

Our Hallmark store closed (the second one) and we got on google and found this one. I felt people watching my husband (white hair and 62 years old) and I as we walked around the store. I was used to being to wander up and down and look at everything at my leisure at my old Hallmark stores. I felt so uncomfortable I just grabbed one ornament and checked out. I felt like I was a teenager and they were watching if I was going to pocket something. I won't return -I love to shop, this place made me uncomfortable within a few minutes. I went shopping at Kay's Korner. I purchased 2 boxes of cards. I used a $10 Hallmark coupon that I earned. I realized when I got home, I had these cards. I returned them and picked out new cards. When I paid, I did NOT receive the value of my coupon. Why? I WAS NOT GIVEN AN EXPLANATION! This is the LAST TIME I will spend my money at Hallmark! They lost an excellent customer! I love the Hallmark brand, the Cypress location is cute and cozy, however, the store lacks in CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! There are two female staff that hates to acknowledge customers as they enter the store. As a small business owner I hate to write a horrible review on yelp, but I hope the owner of this location address the lack of customer service skills. Hallmark stores are getting harder to find. This one is still open and they have a good selection of cards and gifts.

They have a nice selection of cards also other trinkets, however it is a fairly small store. Good customer service by the ladies there.

Well I'm very disappointed in the Hallmark store in the city of cypress on ball street. Today 10/21/2017 I went into the store with my wife. She collects nativity sets for Christmas and I saw one she would like in the case. I asked the lady at the register if I could see it. She said it's right their and it comes in a brown box. I said ok but can I actually hold it and look at it because it's blocked buy other items and their is a big brown box in form of the case. All she said was it's right their in the case no. So I told her never mind I don't want it I just wanted to look at it before buying it. I walked out. I don't know if all my tattoos and me being Spanish Mande her scared of me or she was thinking I would steal it. After I left my wife who is white went a few minutes later and approached the same lady. She asked her to see the nativity set. The lady got her key and opened the glass display and got it out for her. My wife then asked her is this the nativity set was husband just asked you about. She replied yes but he only asked for a box. As she handed the set to my wife my wife asked her. Do you sell this at other stores she said yes my wife handed it back and not buying it here and left. I'm very disappointed in hallmark not sure what the problems is but I hope it wasn't because of my color or appearance. And I don't think I will be doing any business at the stores anymore. It's been several years since I wrote my initial review and unfortunately the customer service has not improved. My love for Hallmark products surpasses my dislike for the lack of friendliness the staff possesses. I am resigned to the FACT that nine out of ten times I will not receive a hello when I enter the store. I am done trying to figure out why the elderly ladies don't say hello. ??? The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is good and store is clean and inviting. I always enjoy visiting this store.

When I arrived I was greeted by a guy that said hello to me. There ended up only being two people working in the store and didn't bother to go around and ask if anyone needed help with anything as I shopped around. I also noticed that they both stood behind the counter the rest of the time whether they were checking people out or just talking amongst themselves. When I was ready to check out, I had coupons and the guy that checked me out would not redeem one of my coupons because it was from another store and I have been able to redeem my coupons everywhere at any hallmark store. The guy says to me I don't know anything about that and I was only able to redeem one of my coupons. I won't be returning to this store because of the location and because I didn't feel the quality of customer service was at it's best. I have been to other hallmark stores and the quality of customer service has been at it's best and beyond. The girl that was behind the counter all she did was put my purchases in the bag.
