    Corn beef hash

My three meat omelette was amazing, toast and corn beef hash were on point, home fries were perfect also and washed it all down with a nice refreshing ice coffee and cranberry juice. The service was awesome and the staff were wicked sweet. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Lowell.

Here is the menu. I see it that an updated one has not been added in a while. Yum!

Just had some French toast. Loved it with the Texas toast. The coffee rolls are sooooo good also!

The sprice of the shamrock meal is 10.99

We ordered 2 Shamrock Specials ($10.99) and the total came out to $36.00. Can someone explain that math to me? We asked the waitress why we were charged $36.00 and she said, "those menus are old. We've updated our prices since then." I think that is rotten. You should charge the customer what is written on the menu. And there were no newer versions of the menu available. I was going to give this place 4 stars but after being charged unfairly I'm never going back. The food is okay. But the service is slow and the barstools are hard.

This was my first time trying fitzys with my daughter. The place was small and cozy, the service was great. Everyone was friendly and the food was fresh and came out fast. It was a nice place to go for some quick good priced breakfast. It looked family owned which was always good to see. The dedicated hard work and love they put into running it warms your heart. I had 2 eggs with white toast bacon and home fries. My daughter had French toast with a side of home fries. We definitely will be back to try other things. I liked that they had specials on the board as well.

Small in a good way, friendly sincere service, really good food. Coffee kept coming and my "Old Sod" was spot on!

Of course, this is a personal preference, but then again, i'm just reviewing it from our own opinion. Mom got a veggie one which wound up being almost all brocolli (which she didn't recall being mentioned in the menu description) and had large chunks of almost raw onion in it. I got a western with sausage and it had the same issue with the onions and the green peppers and the sausage was a frozen patty that had been chopped up and was still kinda cold. My 11yo got a cheese omellette and he thought it was all cheese and didn't like the eggs, finding it "too cheesy" and "not enough eggy". My 15yo got chocolate chip pancakes and they weren't thoroughly cooked with some batter still showing. The ambiance was fine, and plenty of people were coming through for pickup and sitting for breakfast. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. Sure, everyone has their off day, and I'm grateful that they were open. But with so many other breakfast places to explore and choose from, I'm not sure my family will be back.

One guy-- Rosco himself-- running the whole show. -- Pancakes and Sausage: Very large and thick pancakes, so two were more than enough. More importantly, a nice slightly sweet flavor elevated even further by a perfect browning from the griddle. Somewhat but not fully fluffy (my gold standard is Palace Diner in Maine). Real maple syrup available for a $2 surcharge, but a bargain for the large 5oz cup of it. Sausages fairly humdrum, but solid. It's the pancakes that'll get me back. -- Veggie Omelette and Home Fries: This was my wife's order. I'm not sure if it's because she omitted the toast, but it was a gigantic serving with an equally generous portion of the potatoes. She loved the omelette for its unique flavors (some pickled vegetables involved) and the cooked through eggs. I loved the homefries, stealing several and enjoying the crispness and liberal use of seasoning. No onions involved, but very good. Coffee was standard New England Coffee. Tea included a surprise unsolicited refill. Service was outstanding. We came for the food, so it didn't matter either way to us, but for what it's worth, the TV played Newsmax, which may or may not be your cup of tea.
