Nick was great with the service and information. Everyone liked their food . My fish and chips were great. Nice and light, the way I prefer. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Came here for dinner after exploring the bustling streets and lights around downtown Solvang. The wait was a little long but the waiter did his best to get through the line as fast as possible. We were asked if we would like the inside bar, table or outside seating. We chose to wait for an inside table. Once we were seated, we ordered the calamari, poutine fries, chicken pot pie, and the Dublin era burger with onion rings. The waiter asked if we'd like our apps out first and we said yes please. Food came out pretty fast so we were happy. Calamari- 6/10 There was a lot of it. It was thinking pieces with a lot of breading that made it really crispy. Just no flavor and the dipping sauce was a salsa. Although, the salsa was good, it just didn't pair well with the calamari. Poutine Fries- 7/10 The fries themselves were over salted and there were more than a few bites that were hard to eat. It comes with shredded cheese instead of cheese curd, which I was ok with. The gravy was really good but we could've used a lot more gravy. My husband enjoyed it overall though. Chicken Pot Pie- 8/10 The dish looks big but the serving is shallow so it's really not THAT much pot pie. The flavor of the gravy was really good but lacked salt and pepper. My husband added a good amount of both to his food and it made it much better. The crust was delicious and really pulled the whole meal together. My husband was very satisfied. Dubliner Burger- 8/10 I really enjoyed the taste of this burger. It was more cooked than I prefer but saw on my receipt that the waiter put medium well for the cook. He didn't ask me how I'd like it cooked or else I would've said medium. He was really busy and under a lot of stress though so I forgive him. I wish there was more of the garlic aioli, it would've helped the dryness from the meat. The bacon was delicious, but the real star of the burger was the bun. I don't know where they got it from but I wish I would've asked. I would've bought some to take home if I could've. My husband really liked the onion rings as well. They don't sell liquor here, mostly just beers in case you're looking for that, be warned. All in all, we enjoyed our meal. Yes, it could've been better and service could've been more attentive, but it was a busy Saturday night and the waiter was manning the line, tables, and running all the food on his own. He did it without an attitude and tried to the best of his abilities. I'd eat here again.

We stopped in for lunch. The service was amazing and the food was good as well. It definitely has that Irish flare the server was wearing a kilt. They have a nice size patio out in front for people watching or booths inside.

Stopped in Thursday evening. Very nice ambiance inside, I liked the decibel meter at the bar. My wife was happy they served strongbow and I grabbed one as well. We ordered the bacon cheese fries and we all thought they were delicious. I got the lamb shank that was good but seemed to need more seasoning. My wife ordered the short ribs that she enjoyed. My mother in law thoroughly enjoyed her chicken pot pie. Will be back for sure.

Cool Irish pub with friendly staff. Plenty of free parking nearby. They have a pretty cool decibel meter behind the bar. The staff make sure you have a good time and have plenty of suggestions for local fun things to check out.

One of our quick stops while visiting this cute little village. I love how they have the beer cocktail options. Very interesting. Definitely has to be added to the list for a fast well served drink!

I waited at the door for 8 minutes waiting to be seated, Every employee looked at me before I was seated, when I was seated I started to look at the reviews and my heart dropped! Oh no, why did I wait ! I wanted to give them the chance to prove the reviews wrong. I was prepared when a young gentleman brought a menu , I was ready to order! I ordered a lemonade, fish and chips , There were 12 folks eating when I came in . Less than 10 minutes later my fish and chips came , the fries were almost too cold to eat and the fish was greasy but edible. I ordered an additional order or fries/chips , when they came they were very hot , I was happy . The inside was decorated like a pub should be , I finished my meal and asked where the restroom was, it's outside and shared with other businesses, it needed to be cleaned. This town is a great place to walk around and people watch, I believe the next time I come back I will be trying a new place to eat , I will read my Yelp reviews first . Not outstanding

It would be 4 stars if it weren't for the slow service. If you can overlook it, stop by for some comfort food. Centrally located across from the Hans Christian Andersen park and it's a tiny place with 8 or so booths and 12-18 stool/counter seating inside and 8/10 stools outside. Corned beef is lean which is why I went for the fish and chips. My parents got the corned beef and it's a decent serving. Overall it's ok but just know it'll be slow

This is a really good spot to grab a bite around 5:30pm during the holiday. You get front row view of the light show and some delicious food to accompany. We stumbled upon this spot bc the Wood Fire pizza shop was closed: Mac and Cheese: My 8y/o shared with her buddy and there was plenty to go around for the two. From their response, it was a thumbs up. Sheppard's Pie - I have to say this was delicious. It kind of reminded me of sloppy Joe covered with mashed potatoes. The mashed potato was creamy and melts in your mouth. I are or 2 days layered cold bc I didn't have the appropriate tools to heat up and the dish was still good. The flavor tasted the same as it did when it was hot. Chicken sandwich with salad - my daughter loved the avocado and tomato in my sandwich. The chicken was juicy and flavor was good. Not salty. Beef stew: thumbs up from my friend's daughter. She ate everything including the bread bowl. The wedges were huge and pretty good. Not too salty. Definitely give this place a try. If we venture to Solvang again, I'm trying the chicken pot pie.

Just a few steps from the public parking area, this place was one of the first ones that popped up when we looked for good places to eat lunch. Despite our big group size, we were immediately seated on their outside area. Had the bangers and mash for our mains. Flavorful and came with some veggies as well. A good place to go if you need a break from Danish, Irish comfort food is equally good!

Ask the Community - Fitzpatrick's Tavern

    Is kid friendly?

Yes and No, Yes during the Day, No to late night drinking crowd and loud environment.

Will you have the ufc fight this weekend 4/12?

We have a hacked fire stick over the bar. We can usually get UFC pay-per-view and boxing fights on that one, but I don’t like to promise it cause it doesn’t always work. We don’t pay for it.

I see you have 6 tv's, wanna confirm at least one will be showing the Dodger games? specifically next week 4/12!

If we get it, we will show it! Sometimes we can’t these games due to contract agreements. :0)

Do y'all play the NFL games on Sunday?

    Yes. We have 6 TV’s!!

    Do you make early reservations?

We don’t take reservations. We seat our guests in order of arrival. If you have a large party, more than 6, you can try to call us and let us know when you’re coming.

What kind of pub doesn't offer food at the bar?

We usually offer food at the bar. We didn’t during Covid and post Covid due to being short staffed in the kitchen. It’s not about eating at the bar, it’s more about how many dinning customers we can / could accommodate at one time.

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes. We have gluten free buns available for any sandwich or burger. We also have a dedicated fryer.

    Is there karaoke yet?

No, unfortunately we aren’t currently doing Karaoke.

Do you have karaoke on the weekends?

No. Sorry we currently don’t have karaoke.

Do you have TVs out on the patio and do you show nfl games on sunday?

    Is it dog friendly?

Our porch and patio are dog friendly.

Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!

We were seated right away as we had arrived a few minutes after they opened. The inside was dark, but cozy. For drinks, I ordered the Vaquero Martini which was pretty good and my husband ordered an Old Fashioned - we thought it was very strange that it came in a glass with a bunch of ice instead of a giant cube or sphere. The food items were a bit pricy so my husband and I decided to split some appetizers - Artichokes, French Onion Soup and the Skirt Steak. We ordered the Kids Bolognese Pasta which our daughter loved - I wish my husband and I could have said the same thing about what we ordered. I did enjoy the French Onion Soup the best, but we have made much better artichokes at home and the skirt steak was barely seasoned. Overall, staff were very friendly, but the food was not worth the price point at all in our opinion. Everything was honestly mid - we had high hopes considering all of the Michelin Star recognitions. I know we only ordered appetizers, but we thought it would have given us a little taste of everything. I'm not sure if we came on an off day, but if we're ever in Solvang again, Coast Range will not be a restaurant we rush to unfortunately.

When we got to her counter, she seemed annoyed and said that the Amber Beer we wanted wasn't served at her bar and we had to go to the smaller one down the walkway (the Amber was on her menu board, by the way). We got to the smaller bar where the smart guy was and he said he could get us the drink but needed to go to the larger bar we just came from because that's where the tap is. We told him what the woman said and he just shook his head and apologized. This adventure alone took a good 25 minutes. Next up, the food. We saw a sausage combo plate that a young female waitress was carrying and asked if they were different sausages, her reply was "No, All three are the same". We asked the only bartender we could trust and he said they were all different and described in detail what they were a the flavor profile. I thought the ambiance was nice and Danish but the beer and the combo plate was just ok. We stopped in several shops, and then decided to stay for lunch, and decided since we were in Solvang, we ought to try to find a place that offered some authentic foods from the old country. After a bit of wandering, we came across The Bit O'Denmark, and it seemed to be just what we were looking for. I've lived overseas in Germany for a few years, and when I walked in I have to say the overall feel of the place was very European. Low, beamed ceilings, small tables with authentic feeling tablecloths, and divided into a couple of different dining rooms, it felt like I'd stepped across the Atlantic. The menu was straightforward, and offered a few things most americans would find familiar and appetizing. And then...there was a section specifically noted as authentic Danish dishes. Winning! I had the "Flaeskesteg," a roast pork stuffed with prunes, brown sauce, and apple sauce. It was accompanied by a sweet and sour red cabbage, cucumber salad, and roasted potatoes. It was wonderful. My palate was in heaven. I ate everything on the plate. They only had two beer choices, so I had the "Hoppy Poppy," an IPA, to go with it. The only way I could have been happier would have been some European import options. My beautiful lady had the "Bit O'Platter," which is three open-faced sandwiches: the Frikadeller, the Roast Pork, and the Danish Cheese. This turned out to be a wonderful choice; like three sandwiches in one! We were both splendidly surprised at the diversity and deliciousness of each one. And as luck would have it, we happened to be dining next to a mother and daughter who were speaking in a language I only understood about every 12th word of, due to my familiarity with German. I asked, and they said they were from Denmark. I asked about how authentic they found the meals to their home country, and they verified everything was quite authentic, although in their opinion, some of the pairings were a little odd. Well there you have it. If you're looking for something original, authentic, delicious, and memorable, put The Bit O'Denmark on your "Want to try," list. You'll thank me.

I must say this was delicious. The brown sauce for the meatballs was on point. It's not quite gravy though, but pretty good stuff. Roasted potatoes was real tasty, better than French fries... lol. Definitely will order that again the next time I come to Solvang. My dad ordered the piccata salmon. He said the salmon was sooo delicious. My step-mom and step-sister shared the prime rib beef sandwich and some fries. Sooo delicious. I didn't take the pic of the salmon though. Maybe next time. Service was pretty good. Overall.... Chomp Burgers is located on Mission Blvd and The Little Mermaid fountain is directly in front of it. The interior was really fun and gave off that retro diner vibe! We ordered a Tuna Melt with Regular Fries, the Chicken Pesto Sandwich with Chili Cheese Fries, a cup of Chili and some drinks. Everything was really good - my daughter really liked the chocolate milk we ordered because it was made from their milkshake ingredients. Staff were super nice and working their tails off - I also really liked watching the owner walk around and making sure everyone was staying on task. He was really involved and engaging - we even had a brief conversation with him when we left. Overall, it was a great meal - we were actually kicking ourselves for not checking them out sooner! Also, their milkshakes looked incredible! Check them out!

I am very picky - the chicken was well seasoned, juicy, NOT DRY, and well cooked! I didn't even know this place was located in Solvang. We will definitely return!

For my main course, I had the chicken stuffed with goat cheese, served with mashed potatoes, and it was incredible. Every bite was so good--I completely devoured the whole plate. If it were socially acceptable, I would've licked it clean! Thank you for the great service and an amazing meal. I'll definitely be coming back!

The filet was phenomenal -- honestly one of the top three filets I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, and the Mud Pie for dessert was absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way -- rich, indulgent, and unforgettable. We went on Sunday night, the day after Valentine's Day, and the place was packed (good thing they take reservations). We'd had an unfortunate experience the night before at a different local restaurant, but despite the crowd, we were seated right away at a great table. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance: relaxed but upscale, with a retro country steakhouse vibe that feels both classic and comfortable. The staff was outstanding -- attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We also enjoyed a fantastic local cab from Brave & Maiden that paired beautifully with the steak. From start to finish, it was a perfect evening. This place absolutely lives up to its reputation.

We decided to split several items so we can try a bit of everything. We got the spanish souffle crepe ($15.50), travelers special ($16.95), and danish omelette ($15.95). The crepe had melted cheese on top reminiscent of gooey nacho cheese and it did not mesh well with the rest of the crepe. The crepe also came with a side of fruits (bananas, cantaloupe, honeydew, grape, pineapple, apple, and orange) as well as two carrot sticks. The danish omelette was much better and included hash brown and choice of bread (I took sourdough) and an orange garnish. The travelers special was a waffle and came with bacon and the same fruits as the crepe. The waffle wasn't as crisp as I had at other breakfast / brunch spots. Overall, we felt the food was just okay, despite hearing raving reviews from others.
