The menu says "Caravan," but this was the menu inside Fitchi House (in addition to their Italian menu on the TV screen)

The food I had here was amazing, and the service was outstanding. The lagman soup (hand-pulled noodles, lamb, veggies) was crazy tasty and comforting. And the manty (steamed dumplings filled with beef/onions) were delicious too, especially with the added spicy sauce they offered me. They even gave me free baklava and a drink while I waited for my meal to be cooked.

Never come here!! My husband ordered a pizza to go from this place and when he got home we found a cockroach baked into the bottom of the pizza when we called the placed to tell them what happened and they didn't seem sympathetic at all!!! The people over the phone simply told us we got our refund and hung up like that was it. No explanation or apology. I've never experienced something like this before from a restaurant

Often I had driven past Fitchi House exiting off I-5 to cut through Wallingford or heading from the University District. However, this month I made it a point to order the goods from Fitchi House. Both orders on 3/11/21 and 3/22/21 were made online and by the time I drove from Shoreline and located street parking, takeout orders were hot and ready. A note about ordering: 5% discount if completed online, $3 off if completed via the Slice app with special codes, or 15% discount if phoned in directly. The actual dining area is clean, bright, and tidy. However the pandemic, dine at your risk. I did see groups of 2 and 4 onsite though. Menu offers a wide variety of Uzbek specialties, apps, salads, Italian pasta entrees, pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, desserts, and beverages. You'll find something appealing, whether ordering for one, two, or larger group. With these two takeout orders, The Homie and I were able to sample the beef fitchi, beef somsa, chicken parmesan sandwich, and an XL Quatro Formaggi with Italian sausage pizza. The Homie loved the chicken parm, - but then he loves hot, toasted sammies. The beef fitchi and beef somsa definitely has to be eaten hot and fresh. The beef filling is very flavorful and stands out versus comparable dumpling fillings from other Russian (Pel Meni) and Georgian (Skalka) spots in Seattle. The XL pizza is huge, although the winner for XL sized pizzas is a mini strip mall location in Wedgwood (Modena). Quatro Formaggi did not hold a candle to Cinque Formaggi from the fabled, long departed Atlantic Street Pizza on the upper Ave in the UDistrict from the 1990s (RIP Harry Nagamatsu). Notable though that the Fitchi House crew were very generous with the four cheeses and their version of Italian sausage. It was a bit heavy on the ricotta, and the raw diced tomatoes were a surprise. Two slices will fill you up easily in one sitting. Easy peasy online ordering, orders are accurate and hot/fresh, and friendly counter service. Either flavorful version of the beef fitchi (round) or beef somsa (folded over), highly recommended!

The food was amazing!!!!! Omg, the fried dumplings were life changing, they were so good!!! The chicken fettuccine was great as well, but the fried dumplings oh my goodness. The service was amazing, they were incredibly kinda and checked in but not overbearing, I will definitely be back. There was also parking on the side which was great. My only quip is that their website says halal eats but many of their dishes look like they have pork so I am a bit confused if their food is halal or not. Otherwise, so good!

This place would have been a solid 4 star but the service brought it down. I ordered this place online for pickup, and although I came slightly Early, they haven't started making my food yet. As I watched the person made my food, I realized they forgot to put an ingredient in my sandwich, but I wasn't 100% sure, so I didn't say anything until the end And I was right, they forgot it. They were going to remake my sandwich but after seeing how long it took to make a sandwich, I just told them to put it on the side for me as I didn't want to wait longer. The chef special sandwich: it was surprisingly good, I like the toast on the sandwich, every thing was held together nicely and the flavor was on point. I also got the beef fitchi and the chicken Samsa. However, I didn't realize that they gave me both beef for the Samsa and the fitchi until I actually ate it so that was kinda disappointing. Fitchi and Samsa: both was very similar, except the fitchi had a juicier filling. Both was surprisingly light considering it looked like a calzone and a meat pie, they tasted more like a Dumpling. I enjoyed both of them. Definitely will need to come back to try the chicken version and other items on the menu. Price was also pretty reasonable as well

Check this place out if you're in the area. Try their Turkmen Fitchis and Samsas. It was my first time there and I really liked it that I want to come again for their food. The place is located in very clean and safe neighborhood and it's not a problem to find parking. Very cozy interior and friendly staff. Food is amazing, you gotta come and try, I highly recommend

This is an amazing neighborhood pizza restaurant. I was in the mood for pizza and driving through the neighborhood, so I decided to try it. The young staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I didn't realize they specialized in a Turkish food called Fitchi, I plan to try it my next visit. This is a very good local pizza restaurant.

Week night adventure and so many things to try! Small hole in the wall kind of place. Food was okay but loved the plates. I would recommend parking in the neighborhoods and walking.

Fantastic food and service. Pesto pasta was delicious and the owner came out and helped accommodate our large group. Also tried fitchi for the first time and will be coming back for more!

I come here every time my University track team travels to Seattle to compete. The new management made us feel right at home, even bringing out some potential menu items for us to try! The food lived up to the already fire ambiance.

Service was awesome! Food tasted great and the waiters were really friendly and personable.

Ordered via Slice: Veggie somsa, beef fitchi Quatro formaggi and meat lovers pizza - thin crust & small Packaging was great, everything delivered well and warm! Veggie somsa was nice! It was light yet decadent, but low on salt. We had happened to order a ranch dip so that def helped with the lack of salt. Beef fitchi was juicy and heavy and appropriately salted. Loved it! Four cheese pizza was nice, but since the cheeses used are blander - the pizza felt under seasoned and I definitely added some at home. A good size for one person, though! And the thin crust was easy to eat. Meat lovers pizza was great, partner loved it! I think next time we'll try the regular crust and I'll try a vegetarian pizza with saltier toppings :)

Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The food was INCREDIBLE. Like close your eyes, and feel all the emotions while you're eating incredible. There was not a single dish I didn't enjoy. Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy during our visit, our server was extremely quiet and difficult to hear, which made communication a bit challenging. One nice touch was the complimentary bread service, which came with a generous amount of butter. We started with the artichokes from the seasonal menu. I was expecting them to be served warm or roasted, but they arrived cold, which was admittedly a misunderstanding on my part. The accompanying sauce was excellent though and definitely saved the dish for me. We also ordered the tajarin al ragù, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. Unfortunately, this was where my expectations and experience diverged. The pasta felt under-seasoned to me, and the noodles seemed overcooked. Rather than the silky texture I was hoping for, I found myself eating what felt like clumps of dough. It was a dish I really wanted to love given its reputation, but it just didn't click for me. We weren't looking for a heavy dinner, so we only ordered a couple of items. It's entirely possible we came on an off night or simply didn't choose the restaurant's strongest dishes. I'd be open to giving Cascina Spinasse another try in the future, but this visit left me feeling a bit underwhelmed compared to the hype.

But trust me when I say they transformed this space into something really beautiful. If you ever went to the old salad bar back in the day, you would never recognize it now. It looks great! My sister brought me here for my birthday dinner because I had my heart set on Italian, and she delivered. From the moment we sat down the service was wonderful. I genuinely felt taken care of the whole evening. For dinner I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which is my go-to at any Italian spot, and it did not disappoint. The portions are generous too, which I always appreciate. I also had a Greek salad and enjoyed every bite. My sister's only note was that the anchovies in her Caesar were pretty bold, but honestly, a traditional Caesar has anchovies in it. That's kind of the point! I ordered the tiramisu to go and I am so glad I did. It is my favorite Italian dessert and this one hit the spot. Yum!! Overall it was a really lovely birthday dinner. Let me tell you, Lupo is high on my list of "Best 'Za In Seattle", and it will be on yours as well. The waiter told us something about how they're "fancy pizza but not stuck up" (not a direct quote), which fits right in with Seattle gastronomic philosophy. It's worth trying to get here early in the night, because it can be difficult to get a seat. And you want to have some time to sit down and enjoy this pizza. Make sure you wear your best sitting pants though, because you're in for a meal that will make you progressively adjust the belt loops as time goes on. I'm sure that there are plenty of top notch pizzas across the menu here, but the Caesar salad may have been a best-in-class item. The dressing was perfectly balanced with just enough anchovy taste, and there was exactly enough of it on every bite. Instead of having croutons in the salad, they had a heaping portion of toasted breadcrumbs that made each bite so much more interesting. Caesar himself would be proud. All of the pizzas sounded great, but I was pretty sure that they would be able to execute on a cacio e pepe flawlessly here, and I wasn't disappointed. The initial bite was everything that I could have hoped for. But I would make sure that you demolish this pizza promptly - it's not one that's great as leftovers. I think that is the case for most pizza of this style anyways. I am ridiculously excited about coming back to Lupo in the future to try more pizzas. If you are currently reading this and haven't been here yet, I strongly urge you to close this review and head there immediately!

I tried to order the fettuccine de mare, listed at $29 (no extra fees on Toast), but they told me it would be $43. That already didn't make sense. Then the server says, "We actually have 50% off happy hour until 11, come in and dine." So I came in. Ordered a drink, escargot, and a steak medium rare. The escargot came out fine. Then... nothing. 39 minutes later (at 10:45pm), the server asks if I'm waiting on anything else. Yes... my steak. She goes to check, disappears, and then comes back with something that honestly felt DISTESPECTFUL. The steak looked like scraps. Uneven, mismatched chunks, all different sizes, with burnt, crispy edges and covered in sauce like they were trying to hide it. It didn't look like a single cut of meat it looked like pieces from multiple steaks thrown together. The plating was sloppy, and the side looked like an afterthought. I didn't take a bite. I looked through it and said, "This looks like pieces from different steaks." She told me she watched them cut it... then immediately followed that by saying she saw them put it under a heat lamp to reheat. So which is it? I work in the food industry. I'm not going to be gaslit over a plate like that. She offered to refire it, but at that point it was almost 11 and they were closing. I paid for my drink and left. Honestly, I wouldn't have been upset if they had just told me the kitchen was closing when I called. But don't invite me in, forget my order, and then serve something like this and try to pass it off like it's normal. Just be honest.

When we first arrived we were given the option of either the chef's counter or a table. I thought the chef's counter was a unique experience but for the night we opted for a table near the window. The space is intimate and even though there weren't many people there when we first got there, it still gave a warm and cozy vibe (quickly filled up though). The week of my friend's birthday they were only doing Seattle Restaurant Week, which I hadn't realized at first but the menu was amazing regardless. The staff was very attentive to us, constantly checking in on us and making any adjustments as needed. They thoughtfully walked us through our choices and when the food arrived. First we started with appetizers which I thought it was nice that you get to try all them and didn't have to choose one. The salad and asparagus is what you would expect, but they were perfectly done and not overly complex. The stand out was the Seared Tombo, the flavors of this dish were balanced and the fish was clearly very fresh! For our main we both got the halibut option, which came with a side of sunchokes. We had never had sunchokes before but were immediately in love (the fish was cooked to perfection too) but I loved the introduction of not so common ingredient. I thought it was a fun play on traditional "potatoes" almost. I'm glad we were able to try both of the desserts. My favorite was the tiramisu (I always love tiramisu). The carrot cake was more on the dryer side (almost like a cornbread), which isn't my preference but I enjoyed the flavors. Overall, really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back!

We got 4 appetizers, a pasta, an entree, and dessert. My fav items were the shrimp in polenta (shrimp was crispy without seemingly any breading, perfectly cooked and flavored) and the lamb skewers (well seasoned and cooked. Big fan of lamb in general). I also liked the deviled egg on kimchi, though it didn't taste like kimchi very much. The salad had too much dressing unfortunately and the crostini was interesting. We got a few drinks but my main impression is that they are strong! SERVICE Service here was so great and friendly. I only saw 2 front of house and 1 back of house so it's a small place. The front of house also bartend and make the drinks. I do wish the front of house explained the dishes a little more when they brought out the food. They told us the name of the dishes but as I was eating I realized it would've been nice to get a better idea of what was in it exactly, or halfway through I'd think "wait what else is in this?" AMBIANCE Tastefully decorated, small, and intimate. It was not busy when we came at all, with only up to 4 other tables having diners. I think this allowed the staff to focus on each table a little better without being overwhelmed. Overall had a good time. I admittedly wasn't blown out of the water but for $89/person for a fancier meal, I would say this is priced right for what you get (food, service, and ambiance included).
