We came back twice just to see if the quality was consistent. Amazing Italian owned joint with freshly made pasta! A simple straightforward menu and easy ordering system. The interior also has plenty of windows and seating for casual dining for singles to large families. We were really happy with our service the last two times, even though we were ordering via kiosk the staff greeted us warmly & when we told them it was our first time offered good recommendations. The menu is simple so you can't go wrong. We have tried these and they were great - Pomodoro - White Truffle and Mushroom - Polpette - Chicken Meatballs - Side of Meatballs (beef) All of them were delicious in their own right. Simple flavors and delicious warm quality. My only wish is that there was a roasted vegetable dish-- with cooked veggies with Italian seasonings to add as a side like some roasted veggies would be nice . I'd really like that to add with my pasta. For pickup they had an interactive screen to show the status so if you didn't hear your name being called it also shows when your order completed!

A very cool freshly-made pasta place right before your eye in a rather open concept. You can look at how they are making fresh pasta, another side where they cook your pasta to order. We got the Arrabbiata, Mushroom/Truffle and Carbonara past and they were delicious! They were cooked to perfection al dente! Carbonara was a classic and they nailed it. For the Arrabbiata, I know it's supposed to be spicy and I can handle heat, but I didnt find too much flavor complexity within the dish. If you can't handle heat, definitely stay away from this dish. Tiramisu was great! Creamy, sweet somewhat bitter from the chocolate and coffee. The cake was moist too. Great way to finish off the meal! We ordered our dish using the tablet, and when your order is ready you will pick it up from the window. Without saying, you'll have to bus your own table as well.

    Short Ribs Ragu'

I've had this spot bookmarked for quite some time! My husband and I went for dinner last night. We arrived around 5:20pm. It was somewhat busy but still plenty of tables available. (On a Friday night, you never know!) The vibe is a casual, fast food, dine in restaurant. (NO table service). You order at the counter and pick your plates up when they call your name. The menu is laid out by sauce/meat, then you choose your pasta. I selected the Short Rib Ragu for the sauce, and Casarrecce pasta. The prices are very reasonable. (Short Rib was the most expensive sauce/meat base, at $14.90). Sure, it's a "fast food" type of place, but the quality is good and the atmosphere is still nice. My husband got the same sauce, but he got the Fusilloni pasta. I liked this pasta a lot, it was more al dente than the Casarrecce even though the menu showed them as the same Al dente-ness. Hot tip: get the side of cheese! I kicked myself for not ordering any! The portion was not big. I'd call it the perfect "lunch size" portion. But I guess that should be expected for under $15. I will be back to try other flavor combinations. But it will be a lunch visit!

BYO pasta and the Rustic Porchetta Sandwich

***PORCHETTA SANDWICH IS A MUST TRY*** The sandwich is the perfect combination of herbacious, sweet, sour, and salty. It's served with a salad dressed in olive oil and vinaigrette (I think). Bread was soft to bite yet still crispy on the outside. 10/10 We did a BYO pasta which one of the workers walked us through since it was out first time. They were very attentive. There's a lot of seating (mix of high and low) and was nice and warm. Empty on a Monday afternoon. We got the protein pasta and it had a grainy texture which I didn't love. We added tofu and that was nice, fluffy and crispy. Pomodoro sauce was simple and w spinach. Over a nice balanced, vegetarian friendly dish, just wasn't anything to gush over.

A favorite spot to my friend who takes Italian cuisine seriously, he invited me to join him here one evening. For me you can never really go wrong with Pasta. Due' Cucina I initially thought was a high-end dining restaurant and not to take anything away from them but there are other locations. Their Model is similar to that of a Chipotle where you customize your order - they type of pasta shell you want, even if you choose one of the enticing preset dishes, they have you alter it a bit to your liking. I got the short rib ragu, a favorite of mine at other Italian eateries I've been to. It has a nice tasting Chianti wine and tomato sauce as it's advertised. It's topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. I was a bit taken aback when I asked for more on top and when it came out and was told it would cost like an $3 extra. I ask why and the cook just said that it's 'high-quality' stuff and couldn't just be given freely. My friend and I laughed a little bit, I mean an extra little dusting of cheese is gonna cost me? Stop playing. So overall the pasta was good. A tad high, like many eateries around the city but at least it's decent. I'm sure I'll be back as my Italiano friend is a fan.

TLDR; family-friendly (expect to see kids), great bang for buck I loved seeing how family-friendly this establishment is. I saw at least 8 groups with kids during my time there. And, the dishes are affordable. Will this be the best Italian food you've had in your life? Probably not. But, the food was good enough and we were able to order quite a spread for little over $70 after tip. This included: 2 croquettes & eggplant dish as appetizers, 2 pasta dishes, and the porchetta sandwich. We recommend getting pesto sauce on the side to dip the sandwich in (it's not an option - we specially requested it from the staff). Between the aglio & olio and the carbonara, the carbonara is way better. Especially with the burrata add-on. We really enjoyed the eggplant, olive, & veggie cold salad too. The croquette was our favorite - it had a nice crunch and the tomato flavor in the rice really complemented the cheese. We shared one negroni (I was pleasantly surprised that they had alcohol too!) It seemed strong because it was so bitter, but it didn't result in the kick I was expecting. Not a bad thing, tbh. Unless that's your goal - in which case maybe try a different beverage. Lastly, they have 2 gender neutral restrooms which are sizable, and one of them has a diaper changing station inside. Really appreciate the accessibility and family friendliness of this place. The staff also greeted us warmly when we arrived and let us know they were open to any questions we might have. Would absolutely come back another time. :)

Delicious build your own pasta basically. My ultimate favorite is the mushroom truffle oil one. Soo good if you love mushrooms. I tried the short rib ragu one as well which was also really good but between the two I prefer the mushroom. There's a kiosk with pictures to order from and different pasta textures they have on display to show you what it looks like. The service was pretty quick and seating area there were some tables. About 7 tables in total. I would come back again to try the other sauces and other combinations I can make!

This place is one of our go-to's for a quick, guaranteed to be delicious, Italian food! My favorite is the mushroom & white truffle oil and adding the homemade pork sausage. The pasta is fresh and so tasty! Even my picky 7 year old loves it! The kids portions are pretty generous. It's fun for him to pick out his pasta noodles (even though he picks the same one each time!). The place is also a casual and easy-going atmosphere with friendly staff

Overall pretty decent place for pasta relative to the low price point compared to most places to get pasta/Italian food in Seattle. Lots of different pasta options and add ons to choose from. Food is prepared pretty quickly as well for those looking for a quick eat. I'd say sometimes the quality of the pasta can be a bit inconsistent though. There's been times where it tastes like parts of my pasta might be a bit undercooked, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough sauce as well.

Loved this place! Indoor and outdoor seating, very friendly (and helpful) staff. I got a warm welcome and intro to the menu, the same person who helped me made a delicious aperol spritz. The pasta was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. Not a long wait either! I had enough for leftovers for a fair price. I was blown away by their veg options, you can make anything dairy free and most things vegan. It was so nice to chill at the outdoor tables and enjoy my food. Next time I come I'll definitely grab one of my friends and show the spot off. Can't wait to go back.

My co-worker and I stopped in here for lunch based on reviews on Yelp. Yelp did not disappoint. This place is absolutely FABULOUS. They make their own pasta on site and you can definitely tell the difference. It was delicious. There are a lot of options on the menu, and you get to pick what pasta you want in your dish. I had a truffle mushroom pasta dish that was OUT OF THIS WORLD good. I can eat a lot, and I couldn't finish my lunch. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price. They lose a star as they don't have diet soda to order and your lunch doesn't come with a slice of bread, you have to pay extra for it. Pasta should always come with a roll or piece of bread for scooping the last of your pasta/sauce, imo. Seating was plentiful, the restaurant was clean (but chilly so bring a jacket), and parking can be found on the side streets near the restaurant. I would definitely stop by here for lunch again.

    Bolognese with Bucatini
    Samantha G.

Due is always a reliable option when my pasta cravings arise. I love that the location is kitty corner from the Roosevelt Link Light Rail, which makes it super convenient for those that roll car-free in the city. Ordering is straight forward: Choose your sauce, pasta, and add-ons. My go to is their Bolognese with bucatini. I love the texture of the bucatini and the Bolognese is so comforting, especially when sprinkled with chili flakes. I normally don't order any add-ons as this is more than enough food to fill me up. I have tried the short rib ragu, mushroom & white truffle oil and smoked salmon options. While those are tasty, it's tough for me to deviate from my usual Bolognese. There's plenty of seating and I appreciate the laid back vibe of Due, as I often dine here solo.

The ladies at the stand are always very friendly and helpful in their suggestions (such as which type of sauce to pair with the pasta, or the flavor of the pasta or ravioli filling). Thus far, we've gotten the egg bucatini, the red pepper bucatini, the seasonal gnocchi, and the dreamy garlic spread. Generally, I'm not a big fan of fresh pasta, because many times, I feel it gets too mushy (or perhaps it is the quality of the pasta). La Pasta fresh pasta has never been mushy; it has that imperative al dente bite-- a clear sign of good quality pasta. The gnocchi is flavorful and pairs well with the dreamy garlic spread. Looking forward to trying the pumpkin ravioli later in the week. The price is comparable to the fresh pasta you would find at a specialty store, like Whole Foods, Metropolitan Market, or PCC Markets-- however, La Pasta's quality is far superior. La Pasta products are worth the price. We look forward to trying any new products, as well as upcoming seasonals. We also hope that they may have a brick and mortar store in the future on the Eastside for the farmer's market offseason.

It looks like they specialize in the pizza but I was a little disappointed in the selection. I know its an Italian focus but I was hoping for a little intrigue and flair. Whilst they do have quite a selection, they are mostly just slight reiterations of classic pizzas (no potato, clams, eggs, pesto, etc). One of our pizzas came with our toppings split into quarters. That was an absolutely shocking choice on the chef when we did not ask for it to be separated like that. Maybe it looks cool but the reality is that everyone at the table had a slice with only a single topping since we split the pizza among our group. What we did love was the salads. Both the Caesar and the one with blue cheese were delightful and packed with flavor. I thought the Risotto was a great al dente texture but the table thought it lacked a deep seafood flavor. All in all I think this place pumps out quality food and healthy ingredients. If my expectations had been more aligned I probably would have enjoyed this place much more.

We ordered the focaccia bread, carbonara, and the chicken pasta with marsala sauce. The focaccia was really dense and crumbly. The dryness paired with the density/heaviness of the bread made it a bit hard to consume without any vinegar or olive oil. My wife and I actually resorted in using the masala sauce in my pasta as it's saving grace. It lacks the bounciness and fluffy, yet crispy, texture of a good focaccia. Speaking of the marsala sauce, it was WAY too sweet. The sauce felt loaded with cream, and it was too overpowering (albeit a nice pairing with the brick of focaccia we had). The chicken was super thin and overcooked, as it was so dry and stringy. Definitely would not recommend this dish. The somewhat positive note was the carbonara which my wife had. Not bad, but my wife thought the sauce was too cheesy. Also - my wife and I came in on an early Friday evening (around 6 PM) and was met with some hesitation. They mentioned that they may not have a seat for us, as we didn't make a reservation. Luckily, and graciously, we were granted a table. But what was kinda odd was that other groups of people started to trickle in - some seemed to not have made a reservation - and they were welcomed and seated immediately without question. Odd. Overall, I wouldn't even say this place would scratch any Italian-food desires or cravings. Hope this place continues to thrive in the heart of Wallingford, but sadly it didn't stay in ours.

Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I ordered the seafood linguine special, while my husband had the veal marsala. The seafood in my pasta immediately tasted off -- especially the clams and mussels, which seemed old and likely frozen for far too long. Even my toddler, who normally LOVES seafood pasta at Italian restaurants, refused to take a second bite after trying it. I enjoyed seafood pasta from many other places but could barely finish my food that day. Later that night, I developed severe abdominal pain. At 8 months pregnant, any cramping is terrifying, and I genuinely thought I might be going into labor. After hours of pain coming and going, bloating, gas, vomiting, and diarrhea the next day, it became pretty obvious the food was the cause. Ruined Mother's Day and caused unnecessary stress during pregnancy. I will never order seafood from here again.

Beet and goat cheese ravioli with caramelized onions. We ended up adding a little bit of cream to it. I was blown away with both dishes. Both pastas had the perfect texture and flavors were amazing. The saffron pasta had a nice creamy taste while the ravioli tasted earthy and mildly sweet. Best of all, these were quick to prepare, and there's no need to thaw the pastas either. While it takes 3-4 min to boil the pastas, the total cooking time was under 15 min. Next Sunday I'll be returning to stock up on those pastas for those nights I need a quick meal.

My boyfriend and I decided to come here for a last minute date on a Sunday and were surprised that we were easily able to make reservations for 7pm. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived which was so surprising because it had such a cute aesthetic and the food was absolutely delicious. We were both super hungry so we skipped appetisers and went straight for the pasta and it didn't disappoint. The Tonnarelli was what both of us were eyeing and it delivered in every way, from the freshness of the tomato to the perfect consistency of the sauce. We also decided to be adventurous and try the Ricotta Gnocchi despite the fact that both of us are not huge fans of ricotta, me especially. I loved the base of the paste and the flavours were great, I think I just got bored of the dense texture of the ricotta after the first few bites. Our server was super friendly and recommended me an incredible white wine to go with dinner that really cut the acidity of the pasta. The sauces being to tangy and acidic was my boyfriend's only complaint about the food, but he was the one driving. I really loved the pasta here and can't wait to come back and try more of the dishes on the menu!

What went well: - service…read more- ambiance Not so well: - food at price point In short, my friends and I enjoyed ourselves for dinner last night, but I struggled to wrap my head around the price points... $47 for halibut and "greens". The halibut size was smaller than average, and the greens consisting of two small artichoke halves and a single branch of collards. Similarly, we paid $23 for a seared tombo and were given four thin slices of meat. I feel slightly robbed paying about $80 and leaving quite hungry. The food was good, but by no means would I argue this is worth going out of your way for.
