Prime Rib Sandwich with Steamed Vegetables

Cowboys burger was good with 2 1/4 lb patties, brisket, cheese and onion straws. I ordered BBQ sauce on the side. It was good and the fries were hot and also good. Service was good and ambivalent fair.

Had a great meal at Fisher's! Great vibe and music if you are close or visiting the national nearby! Service was great, efficient and genuine. Food was really tasty - had the fish n chips, wings and lavender spritz. All good! Local beers on tap and a good selection!

Everything here is designed to offer fast service to the many Park visitors, and with that in mind, they rated 4 stars. This restaurant is approximately midway in the stretch of the Cuyahoga National Park, so it was very busy on a Saturday morning. We were able to find outside seating in the shade, which was enjoyable. The team of servers were working well together, I think they are used to large quantities of people! The meal was simple, the ingredients were basic, and the service was fast - all designed to move people in and out quickly. They had a large parking area to accommodate the crowd which was great! If you get a chance, take a walk to the bathroom and look at the photos and memorabilia on the walls. The was a sweet framing of an old time, 1-page telephone directory. The bottom right corner was something to giggle about.

Went here for a business meeting and the service was great. Food was also great. We got the lunch special quesadillas as well as a Philly steak and Swiss sandwich. The only thing I didn't care for was the horseradish or wasabi mayonnaise but that's a personal preference. I would preferred straight mayonnaise. The eggplant fries were epic! Out of all the wings that we had the Thai chili was the best. Then the garlic and the buttermilk ranch were my least favorite. Deviled eggs were uniquely put on top of a bread and butter pickle and had some nice hot pepper jelly on top. Very creative and tasted great.

Updating my review. After my initial visit, I've been back a couple of times. I find myself looking for a reason to come out or meet a friend here. Great fries, we also had the fried mushrooms (a bit expensive). The burgers are amazing! And as always, the fries are phenomenal!

This cafe in a ramshackle gathering of buildings is a great option in Peninsula. People were gathering for the clambakes, but as a native Long Island girl, I thought Peninsula a little too far from the shore to venture down that critique. Instead I reached for the pig, in this case a pulled pork number that delighted my tongue with texture and a tangy sauce. Mom ordered her typical litmus test for a new joint, the patty melt and was satisfied. Service was a little slow with what appeared to be kitchen issues but hey, we all have an off day. The food was worth the wait.

A couple weeks late on this review due to vacation. Atmosphere: My partner and I stopped here on our way back home from visiting my family in Brunswick Hills. The atmosphere was POPPIN'! It was a beautiful day and walking up, there were a ton of people sitting outside, the grill was going and the air was filled with laughter and summer vibes. The inside was just as busy. We opted for a seat at the bar so we weren't too too crowded. Food: At first, we were literally just stopping to have a shot after the family get-together. But then the bartender mentioned that they were grilling ribs and I couldn't help myself. We got our shot of whiskey and ordered a half rack of ribs to share (we had hamburgers and hotdogs a few hours before). The ribs came out, great presentation. My partner did not care too much for the rub on the ribs, But I found them to be delicious. In my opinion, they could have been a little more "fall-off-the-bone" but they probably can't do a "low and slow" on their ribs with a packed house. Also, if they hadn't been as busy, I would have gotten some sweet treats to go but they were nearly out of everything because of how busy they were. No fault to them. The thing that got me teetering between a 3 and a 4 star review was the fact that I was completely unaware that my ONE SHOT of whiskey was going to be just as much as our plate of ribs. I am not even joking. I asked the bartender and he said "yeah, the owner really charges a lot for the bourbon". Honestly ridiculous. Overall: I would say that because of the ambiance and yummy food, we would be excited to go back but geez, I like having a stiff drink with my means and if I am paying the same for a shot of whiskey as I am a whole plate of food, that just doesn't make sense to me. We would have to go there and just have food with nothing to drink or go someplace else. Although we would LOVE to try some of the delicious sounding dishes, we may just have to try some of the other local haunts.

Fisher's is a great spot for a quick lunch in the heart of Peninsula. I like most things on the menu, and it's perfect right after a hike or a bike ride. This time, I got the Prime rib and Onions and mushrooms sandwich (pub style) and a cup of the chicken noodle soup. They were both filling and tasty. And not too expensive! Service is great too.

We stopped in Ohio for our Midwest roadtrip and found this restaurant in our hotel's restaurant…read morelist. I'm glad we found this. The price is good ($64 for 10 wings, a soup, a big salad, a beer, and a big portion of shrimp appetizer). Everything was delicious. Those wings were out of this world! I think they're double-fried. The service was phenomenal. I totally recommend this.

Otherwise you got to do it from the iPad at the door. We were 8th in line. But it went fast. Reminder it is a small place and It gets slammed. Even the bar seats are to be seated. Sat and got a cider. Ordered the bacon bourbon wings, wedge salad to split, and onion rings. Ya it was too much. But all good. Onion rings were hot and really good batter. Salty which was good. The wings are big and very crunchy. Sauce was good. Wedge salad is large to share and Kathy and I split it. Lots of stuff in it and the dressing is good. I love this place. My only issue is the cost. This place is not cheap. And I get it. Costs are on the rise every week and it's good food. I just wish it was a bit less so we could go more. Quality good food = higher prices. I get it. I don't have to like it. So you still get my business just not often. Dive bar that's good food, good beer selection, small dining area, loyal following, and a bit higher prices. Worth a try.

I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, so have some seriously nostalgic memories of going on a family bike…read moreride in the park, and having lunch at the Winking Lizard. So for the vibes, the memories and the nostalgia (and beer selection) the Winking Lizard gets 5 stars. I mean who doesn't love free popcorn while you wait for your table. Now as an adult, with a more critical eye, I have to give them 4 stars, as my official Yelp review. Still had a great time-- it had probably been 5 (or more) years since I've been to the Winking Lizard, after just having gone two weeks ago. And the beer selection really is impressive! And the service was great! But the burger left a little to be desired. It wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, but I kind of wish I would have gotten the wings, or maybe there is something else in the menu that I'm missing. It's a big menu! I'll of course be back, and don't get me wrong, I'll get a burger again if I'm craving it. But I have to keep my expectations realistic. I'm just not sure the Winking Lizard is the kind of place that will ever serve me a 5 star burger. But again, last time (haha), the VIBES are absolutely 5 stars. Love yall over there-- and see ya the next I'm back in the falls.

With several tables open we were excited to enjoy the nice weather. After inquiring with the hostess we were told we could only eat inside since they were limited on staff. The waitress we had was great and attentive. I decided on the buffalo chicken wrap with honey mustard as the replacement to the buffalo sauce. I also ordered a salad instead of fries. Salad portion size was good and the wrap was small. The sauce also didn't have a very bold flavor.

We've been here before and the food and service is always good, we just don't frequent here because it's cash only. The place is always packed so there was a bit of a wait. Nice seated we ordered the Coliseum Fries with the chili on the side because I'm not a fan of chili in general, I ordered the burger of the month, and my hubby ordered the Loo burger. It was brighter out there than in the main restaurant and made for nice seating. After perusing the menu, we went for the black n' bleu burger, the B.O.M.B. burger, the chipotle garden vegetable chili, and orders of fries and their jalapeño bottle caps. All were great! The mac and cheese on the BOMB burger was creamy and excellent, and my companions really enjoyed their burgers. The chili was awesome...I have been thinking about it since. The fries were fresh and hot (they needed salt, but good other than that), and the jalapeño bottle caps were the right amount of spice and came with a perfect cup of ranch for accompaniment. Their hot sauce is great too! Service was friendly and efficient as well. Burgers are a touch pricey considering they don't come with fries or anything and the place is cash only, but other than that no complaints. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Whitey's!
