When the chowder arrived, we began eating, and both of us looked up at each other. "Does this clam chowder have vinegar in it?" "Who puts vinegar in clam chowder?". It occurred to us immediately that the cream in the clam chowder was spoiled! When the waitress came back we told her it was off, and she immediately took the two bowls away and brought us new ones. Doesn't the cook taste a dish before they start serving it? This is pretty inexcusable. The waitress was great - we spent a good hour there talking, and didn't get rushed out, and the sides were very good, but jeez! Maybe suggest that the cook taste the dish before you poison your customers! I didn't get ill from it, but what a nasty surprise!
