My son and I originally happened across this place when we saw the gaudy signs covering the front windows. Don't be fooled. The food is delicious and the interior is clean and spacious for a small dining establishment. We always get a "rice bowl" and have tried all of their proteins and have not been disappointed yet. The Spicy Korean Chicken is excellent and red beans and rice is on point! The husband wife team are friendly and they have developed a very efficient ordering system which includes a Loyalty program that starts with a free drink after the first visit (based on point system). We have been back several times and try something new each time. Get the specials on Monday- Tuesday- and Wednesday as they are very affordable and choose the entree of your choice as an add-on. The counter service is quick as they have two registers and attend to both registers if it gets crowded. We have yet to find anything that was soaked in grease, for a place that fries most entrees but they also have some great teriyaki beef sandwiches! Value is 5 out of 5 stars. This was our first time there. I had the fish tacos with grilled catfish in corn tortillas with the rice and bean side. The rice and bean had some sausage pieces in it that was surprising to me. Tasted really good and the flavor has some kick to it (spices). The fish tacos were absolutely delicious. The serving was very generous for only 2 tacos. The fish tasted fresh, hot and yummy. My hubby had the fried catfish and onion rings. Again, the portions were generous and tasted very spicy and fresh. The onion rings he felt were a little bland and the batter didn't stick well to the rings but overall was very pleased. The next visit he wants to try are the crab balls. The service was good but the music was a little loud. We did enjoy the country music. This is a brand new place for this area so I hope they do very well. This place is probably considered a fast food but the taste says quality food from a fine restaurant that between cajun and latin flavors. We will definitely go there again. read more

That is solid four almost made it to a five star. BbqKorean wings yummy I'd like a little more spice but everyone else thought the level was just right. That's ok they have like 5 or more kinds of hot sauce to add on. Fish hot and fresh nice and crisp, chicken tenders also great with a choice of dips. Shrimp large and not overcooked with ok fries. Was warned that onion rings were bland and breading was not great so skipped those. Four year old grandson had some of everything esp loves their garlic bread. Service was good they were getting slammed as the Barry Center nearby was hosting a large group of teachers, but food was getting out pretty quickly. This is cooked to order so no instant service stale food here. Basic interior design bright and clean. They had a toddler decorate the floor and it took a bit for that to get cleaned up, but they were trying. Bathrooms very clean. Will be back. We went to this place because we wanted a quick meal as we were limited on time. The business is clean and neat inside. Nothing fancy. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the Pick 2 with Shrimp and Catfish and fried rice. My hubby ordered the Pick 1 with Tilapia and fried rice also. We ordered a side of hushpippies. Some how they switched the fish and I got some Tilapia and my husband got some catfish. The flavor of the food was bland to me. I think they should add more seasoning to the batter. Also, the shrimp wasnt deveined which I prefer. So based on the food alone...this place is not quite my speed. I was still going to give this place a 3 star, BUT they allowed a customer to come in with a puppy and dine In! I was immediately finished with my meal! Went there today for the first time for take-out. Ordered fried catfish, fried oysters, fries and small cole slaw. The food was quite good and the oysters were large; the cole slaw is a little different (slight sweet taste) but okay by me. Not sure about their tarter sauce (used my own store-bought at home). Overall, very good value, priced about the same as Captain D's and Long John Silvers but much better food (plus they have oysters). In the end, I got a lot of food for what eight oysters cost at French Quarter. I'll be going back again. read more

It was just okay to me. I didn't know what to expect based off of the mixed menu. I wanted to give it a try because of the reviews. I had a spicy chicken rice bowl. I also wanted to try their fish so I ordered a piece of fried tilapia on the side. Everything came out piping hot. The fish had a good taste but what made it better was the dipping sauce. It was their tater sauce recipe. I was most disappointed with my rice bowl. It wasn't tasty like I was expecting. It was missing authentic asian spices that I assumed were going to be present. My husband found a Groupon for this place so we thought we would check it out. Service was fast and friendly. The fish had a nice cornmeal breading and was piping hot! I had onion rings as my side. I really liked it here. This was our first visit. We tried the fried tilapia fish tacos. They were big and good. Biggest fish tacos I have ever had. Got full with one taco, took the other one to go. The food came out fresh and hot. My kids had the popcorn shrimp with fries. We ordered the small and there was enough shrimp for both to share and be full. It was clean and they have nice staff. Employees were wonderful. Explained everything and was super friendly. A change from the usual young people today. I got the 3 choice meal. You will have to take some home, it's big. Shrimp was very large, not that little baby shrimp you often see. Red beans and rice was very good, not outstanding but very good. Wife had that Korean BBQ rice bowl, said it was good. Again, way too much to eat so you'll need a take home box. Oh yea I'll be back, several good things on the menu I want to try.
