So I hate having to make reviews but this one is NEEDED...So the last time I went I was missing an item and they REFUSED to replace it because she said no one was there to make that decision knowing I paid for it. So I told myself I was not going back because this place obviously doesn't care about their customers or their feelings. So yesterday I ordered on the website and AGAIN I was missing my item. My item was $3 brown sauce. So I called and was told to come the next day to get my brown sauce. Now ask yourself why not just give me my money back and not sauce I can't eat on food I no longer have. Make it make sense. The LACK of concern for fixing issues doesn't apply to this restaurant and I'd much rather spend my money at an establishment that cares about giving me what I paid for and my feelings. Quick, with less than a Ten Minute Wait. Total Price $19 and some change. The Shrimp rendered enough breading, but didn't overpower the fact of the Shrimp being the Headliner of the Show. This is for the Double Dragon on FM 529. They are my go-to place for Chinese take-out. I love their Lo Mein and order it all the time. The chicken is very tender and the vegetables just crisp enough. Both my husband and I love their Won Ton soup, the won tons are not chewy and the broth is to die for. We have ordered other items on occasion, but these are our favorites. We ordered 2 orange chicken combos, one general tso chicken combo and an order of chicken lo mein. The dinner combos are standard. They come with an order of soup, an eggroll and rice. We ordered our general tso chicken and orange chickens with plain rice, hot n sour soup and eggrolls. As far as taste, the chickens were fine. Had a nice sweet sugary, tangy touch to them. They came with a few broccoli in them. Kids loved the sauce of the dish, and were mixing it good with the rice. Egg rolls were pretty good too, although very greasy. I have had better hot n sour soup and Double Dragon's was ok. It didn't have that fiery kick to it and was more water down. There are plenty of items on the combo menu, which is available for lunch and dinner. Plus they have their non combo menu, and chef specialty items. Nice selection of choices. Food it usually very good. Today I ordered lunch and the spicy sauce that is usually on the Kung Pao Chicken was missing. It was just pain chicken and veggies and the rice was pretty dry. I called to let them know that the meal was missing that spicy sauce. ( In my order I always ask for "Spicy") The lady on the phone was VERY rude telling me that the sauce was there and that it is spicy and that they check all their food. I told her since I am here looking at it and tasting it that it is for sure missing and the rice is dry. She told me I can bring it back up there or go someplace else next time. We order weekly and I told her I wasn't calling to get something for free I was just letting them know. She continued to be rude and tell me what the same thing.
