Went here after a 12 hour road trip from Georgia back to Texas! I wanted was beef egg fu young, shrimp fried rice and chicken wings. It was fresh and flavorful. I have a weakness for cheap Chinese food. It's one of my guilty pleasures. Classy, gourmet places can be nice, but sometimes I'm just craving something a little greasier, that's maybe been hanging out in a steam table too long. China Wok is that type of place. Nothing fancy. Nothing but the standard, familiar items on the menu. A ton of food at a reasonable price. The first time I ate here, I had the teriyaki chicken, with some hot and sour soup. The soup was fantastic, but the teriyaki didn't taste like any chicken teriyaki I'd ever had. It wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't anything like chicken teriyaki to me. On my 2nd visit, I got the jalapeno chicken, which they nailed. I also ordered noodles instead of rice, so I was absolutely stuffed to the gills by the time I was finished. I'd contemplated ordering extra meat, but I was glad I didn't. All in all, if you're looking for some satisfying, filling inexpensive Chinese drive-thru food that makes Panda Express seem high class in comparison, look no further than China Wok. As far as Chinese take-out and delivery goes, China Wok is almost close to perfect. It's the tiniest little Chinese restaurant that I've ever seen inside a new strip center. It's more of the kind of place you'd see in San Francisco or New York. There are only two small tables - again, they're more of a delivery/takeout establishment - with three people working in the kitchen, dishing out made-to-order food in a giant wok. The menu is pretty extensive (see all my pics). The lunch specials average about $6 and could possibly feed two normal sized folks. My sister and I picked up about five different lunch specials today, and they easily fed my family of 10. And we had an entire box left. No MSG. Not overly salted or veggies drenched in sauce. Free delivery for lunch ($12 min order) and dinner ($20 min order). I'll definitely be back another day for a quick lunch/dinner for the fam. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a hot summer day and the small are for customer seating (4 tables) was very stuffy and warm with a lot of loud talking from the kitchen dominating all sounds. This is obviously mainly intended for take out orders. Dine I. Food is served in the takeout containers with minimal plastic utensils. One of us had the wonton soup and the other hot and sour soup. We had the spring rolls. One entree was lo mein, served with fried rice (noodles AND rice?). The other was the orange chicken and fried rice. The sauce was very gelatinous. Twice now they have failed to put my wonton soup in the bag. This time I told the person behind the counter very politely that they forgot to put my soup in last time so I was going to check the bag. Low and behold the soup wasn't there. No apologies, no offer of an extra soup, just shrugged it off, gave me a soup and acted as though I was an inconvenience. Never expected an attitude like that. When I walked in to pick up my order, the whole place had a strong smell of stale grease. Unfortunately, when I got home to eat, everything tasted like that same stale grease.
