I love this little restaurant. I bumped into it by accident when I went shopping with a friend and we decided that Chinese was the only thing important in our lives at that moment. When we walked in, the very first thing we saw was the fish tank with lots of bubbles and plastic fish. We loved it, and in fact, stood there for several minutes just staring at it... the perfect remedy for shopping until we were dropping. Once we got beyond that point, we discovered a small placed filled with a lovely peaceful ambiance that drew us in and made us want to stay and enjoy our food. The staff and service were excellent, especially when I ordered a pop that was 1/2 Coke and 1/2 Diet Coke. We ordered the Pork Fried Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken, & Sesame Chicken. All of it was good and hard not to over eat. We like to come here between 2 and 4 pm on week days, when it's slow and we're typically the only ones there. Nice little place tucked a way off Mason Road in Fairfield. Food was delicious!!! They seat you with wonton strips and warm sweet & sour sauce had the crab rangoon had these other places these are not too bad. My daughter ordered the House Mei Fun and I got the Singapore Mei Fun let's just say the Singapore is spicy good but I had to ask for extra wonton strips to ease the burn lol Definitely recommend! read more

Unfortunately quite a negative experience with this restaurant. I placed an order with their "Menufy" app on their website. I got an email confirming the order, then a second email saying the restaurant had confirmed the order and it would arrive in 30 minutes. Generally I order from here because the food is okay, they are a local business, and they are (usually) fast. After an hour and 15 minutes I called and they said they never received the order, and were flatly dishonest (the app doesn't randomly confirm the order with no action being taken on the restaurant side). I made it clear I was dissatisfied and would choose not to continue to do business with them. Figured that would be the end of it! The restaurant called back 10 minutes later asking if I still wanted the order, and when I told them I was abundantly clear in the prior conversation she hung up on me! I would've been okay with "we messed up", fair that things sometimes happen, however I'm not okay with dishonesty, and the additional disrespect prompted me to take further action and write a review (if they hadn't called back to rehash their case I'd have been done). read more

Tried this place for the first time. GF wanted Chinese and this was close to where we were. Parking lot serves a lot of businesses right here and it was pretty full. This place is on the smallish side, around 10 tables. Only 4-5 tables were busy for lunch so I guess we got lucky. The Hot &Sour soup was really good and so was the Szechuan beef w/ fried rice. GF had the Bourbon Beef w/ broccoli and white rice. It took a little longer for them to prepare hers than it did mine but she liked it a lot. I could tell by how much she ate. Waitress was very kind and kept us updated on how much longer the wait for our order. Good tea as well. There is no buffet, menu orders only. Which is good for me, I won't make 3-4 trips trying to get some of everything in the building. Servings are nicely portioned for the price. Ours was under $35 for two people, less the tip. If we are out that way again and feel like Asian food, we'll stop in. read more

Had lunch with a friend last week at hot wok. From the moment we walked in the door until we walked out the door. The service was amazing and the food was so delicious. I had sweet-and-sour shrimp which was made with Panko crumbs, and was the best I've ever had. The complementary wonton chips and Warm sweet-and-sour sauce is brought to your table as soon as you sit down. So good. The food is fresh, the wonton soup is delicious, and the atmosphere is very friendly. I have found my new go to for amazing Chinese food. read more

I ordered spring rolls and Sesame Beef. The spring rolls were mushy . Not much of a fresh vegetable flavor. The beef in the Sesame beef was gray and tough. It tasted as though it had set out in a buffet all day. The service was friendly but unfortunately I won't go back because the food is subpar. read more

A go-to place for Chinese takeout once in a while. One of my favorite entrees there is the salt and pepper crispy chicken which is basically Taiwanese style popcorn chicken but bigger chicken chunks and unlike most of their chicken entrees that contains white meat, they use dark thigh meat instead which makes the chicken juicy and flavorful. I'll give 4 stars for the sesame, orange, and general tso's chicken since it's a bit too much sauce in it but pretty good still and for their rice that comes w/ the entrees it almost has a sticky rice texture to it but good if you eat it w/ your entree. Okay I've been needing to review this place for a while now. The food here is SO GOOD. I work just a few minutes from here and get lunch here regularly. It is always absolutely delicious and fresh. They're wonton soup is really good, their egg rolls are tasty (although they're a bit oily- they still hit the spot), the spring rolls are simple but yummy. Their chicken with mixed vegetables is SO FREAKING GOOD. beef and broccoli is delicious. Sesame chicken was a hit as well. Their beef lo mein is very sweet but really good, too. Egg drop soup is flavorful as well. White rice and fried rice are tasty and always hot and fresh. NOT DRY. I seriously love this place. It's my absolute go to and I will drive further out of my way to get food here rather than anywhere else. I LOVE this place and recommend it to everyone I know. I usually cook all my meals and have been cooking my whole life with Hispanic culture in my cooking, I like to think I have good taste and enjoy really flavorful food and this place really has it. The staff is always polite and friendly. Dining in is really nice and feels comfortable in their little dining area that is very cutely decorated. Seriously. Give them a try. Really sad on my overall experience today. I placed an order with 4 different entrées and when it arrived 50+ mins later I was missing one. Upon calling the store back to let them know the guy kept saying "it wasn't charged, it wasn't charged" no sorry for the confusion or our mistake we didn't hear you or anything. I had to place the order & pay for the missing entrée and after being told it would only be 20 mins I didn't receive my food for another 50 mins. I called back to let them know it had been almost 45 mins and he said it was on its way. Upon arriving we finally sat down to eat. Hoping our food would still be nice & hot. Unfortunately that was not the case. I opened my meal and I saw that we received steamed rice when I had asked for fried rice. Another disappointment. I was almost done with my meal when I noticed that my General Tso Chicken might not be cooked all the way.
