Went to first watch this morning it was amazing atmosphere. I'm definitely going to come back the atmosphere so nice and the hosts were amazing they got me there so quick and they were so kind and they were very attentive. Especially Sarah and Zariah. I met with this amazing manager up at the front name Dave he was so kind and he got me to my table very fast. I had autumn as my server she was so kind and very intelligent with the menu I had a bunch of questions just because It was first time here and she made me feel very comfortable. I was brought a few plates of food by other servers named Nelson and Grace and they were so kind and let me know what plate was what. read more

What a great place! The restaurant was packed but we were able to put our name on the list online and walked to our table almost as soon as we got there. We had our one year old with us and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious! I had the florida French toast and my husband had the biscuits and gravy with turkey sausage. We loved everything. ONLY downside is they don't sell alcohol - so no mimosas unless you're brave enough to sneak in your own champagne! read more

I really enjoy this restaurant. I'm there at least a couple of times a week. Their staff is friendly and their food is terrific. If anything goes wrong, they fix it. They are respectful, attentive, and the management team rocks! Frankly, most of the menu is spot on and I recommend trying a few different dishes over the months ahead. If you like masks, well, they are obsessed with them. They really believe that a piece of underwear will protect you from a virus. LOL. This place is awesome! I have eaten breakfast here 8 times. I find the portion size more than acceptable. The food is always fresh and I have not been disappointed when ordering off the seasonal menu. When I have guests I always include First Watch on the itinerary. I find the wait staff to be very friendly, the service fast, and the price appropriate for the quality of the food. I love the morning meditation drink! However, if you like traditional southern oversized starchy breakfasts or have a bad attitude this place may not be for you. read more

I used to be a regular here... I used to eat here 3x a week but recently stopped. Anyway, my daughter is home from college and I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice brunch. We went on Monday the 9th of March - and it wasn't busy - just about a dozen people eating. We get a table and right off the bat are given our drinks and whatnot. Great! Our food takes a bit to arrive but we don't mind but when I order my usual Belgian Waffle - a woman in a grey shirt, black hair who is African American asks me, "Do you want syrup with that?" in a super condescending tone as she puts our plates down at our table. I mean ... of course you'd want syrup for your waffle. I kindly said, "Yes ma'am that would be great" and she turns and rolls her eyes. Now, I couldn't see her roll her eyes but my daughter who was sitting in front of me and had the woman in the grey shirt in front of her, saw the look the woman gave me and her eye roll and my daughter made a comment. "What's with the attitude on her? Who doesn't want syrup for their waffle?" Of course she didn't say it in front of the woman but to me as she walked away, and my daughter noticed the eye roll big time. The woman came back and literally tossed the syrup on the table and it fell over. It was secured in a pourer so it's fine but there wasn't a warm smile whatsoever even as she delivered the food. The attitude she had was appalling. Such a condescending tone and an eye roll? Are you serious? The oddest part happens after we're done eating, although the attitude from the woman earlier was enough to set the mood. I'm just taking my last bite of my waffle and taking a piece of bacon from my daughters plate when our waiter - young, scruffy bearded guy - doesn't ask me whatsoever, and just snatches my plate from under me and hits my arm in doing so. Usually you're asked, "Can I take your plate for you?" -- nothing. Not a single word. He just grabbed my plate and got syrup on the elbow part of my shirt because my arm was extended, reaching for my daughters food. He apologizes for hitting my arm with the syrup'd plate and just continues taking the plate without asking. My daughter at this point is like "wtf dad?" and I couldn't agree more. What waiter doesn't ask for the plate prior to taking it if you see I'm chewing and I'm reaching for food and my daughter is still eating? Overall - this isn't the First Watch I remembered. I used to come here so much the waitresses knew my name and order by heart. I'm glad I stopped going. Overall - the food with tip alone cost me $33+ for a waffle and some eggs and potatoes for my daughter and we left really disappointed in the service, the food and the cost. I'll be cookin at home from now on. At least I don't have to have any eyes rolled at me and attitude. read more

Tried this place for the 1st time today with my wife and my dad. I had the Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich. I asked the waitress if their roast beef was rare, she said yes. I guess I thought I was in more of an upscale deli atmosphere. Now I would consider Havarti to be a less common, more high-end cheese. So naturally, I was expecting an uncommonly good roast beef sandwich. I was let down by the processed texture and uniform cut of the beef (my wife called it "sandwich meat") which was more reminiscent of something from Arby's. In fact, she tested the horseradish sauce that came on the side and called it "horsey sauce" (Arby's sauce packets) She actually likes Arby's so that might be a compliment... There was a soft, melted cheese on the sandwich but it lacked that nutty flavor I was expecting so it may have been a more mild Havarti variant. The skillet-style potatoes on the side were decent. And I'm not sure if they were roasted or sun-dried tomatoes on the sandwich but they did elevate it to a slightly more professional taste. But for $12 or $13, fool me once. I asked my wife how her Ham & Gruyere Melt was and she just frowned, noting the day's special side soup was good. She liberated my side of horsey sauce and started dipping her sandwich in it and I guess that improved things. My dad got "The Traditional" breakfast plate with eggs/toast/sausage and despite requesting no butter and receiving buttered toast, he still seemed to enjoy it overall. I guess that's what we should have ordered since most reviews for this place mention the breakfast items. The waitress was very nice and professional, service was great and no wait on a Wed at around 11:30 If there's ever a next time for this eatery, I guess we now know to stick to their more signature breakfast items since 2/2 sandwiches ordered did not impress read more

My family and I enjoy coming here almost every Sunday. The food is great and and their fresh made juice is really good! The only complaint and the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the bathrooms are very dirty and really gross me out. I have been several times and the bathroom is just as dirty and sometimes extra dirty. I understand the restaurant is busy but the level of nasty of the restrooms is extra. I would just recommend the restaurant give those bathrooms a little more attention. read more

The food is amazing, comes out quick and hot! Atmosphere is clean and laid back, so perfect for any type diner! Including moms with kids! The menu has tons to choose from.. heathy options, skillets, pancakes, fresh juices, omelets... and they serve lunch too!! Even the coffee was great! I am already looking forward to my next visit!!! I have one negative thing to say about First Watch. Darn, those chairs are hard. It hurt the moment I sat down and continued to hurt through the rest of breakfast. Sit in a booth if you can. Otherwise, food and service were excellent! Their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are the best I've ever had. They come with strawberries and lemon curd, but they taste so good you can eat them alone. I didn't even need the syrup. I believe it's made with a multigrain batter, but it was light and fluffy, while still a little crisp on the outside. Perfectly well done pancakes. When this location first opened every thing was fantastic, but it would seem as time has passed the quality isn't there anymore. The Million dollar bacon has been reduced to just pouring maple syrup on it. And I ordered the Watermelon wake up which just tasted like watered down watermelon juice, I tasted no pineapple or lime and no mint garnish. The rest of our breakfast hit the mark. read more
