The new first watch location is adorable! The layout is very open and bright, and the atmosphere is like a cozy country kitchen. I had the eggs Benedict blt which was served on a brioche bread with poached eggs a hollandaise sauce with bacon and arugula and a small side salad (tomatoes removed for personal taste). It was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend the super food bowl which he describes as "refreshing". Everything tasted so clean and fresh I have to agree with him. Our server Camille was very friendly and hands on without being overbearing. They even opened the door for us when we entered! Very disappointing. We had been to First Watch in Phoenix and loved it. This location was seriously lacking. Our service was not good. She took our order and then never came back. Someone else brought our food, but half of the order was wrong and we never received the correct food. The poached eggs were basically hard boiled. The soup was mediocre. They gave us excuses for the poor service and food stating that they were really busy. I've been a waitress before and they weren't that busy, and as a customer, I don't care how busy they are, I just want my order to be correct. read more

Service- our waitress never came back to our table and we didn't receive a whole plate of food or syrup for pancakes and French toast until we inquired at the host desk. It took 10 minutes to receive the last plate after everyone else had received theirs. We found hair on a piece of toast, and didn't ever receive an apology or replacement for the toast. We come here all the time. Usually love it! Today we ordered the avocado toast. We both felt that it was NOt worth the value and asked for Manager. He took quite sometime to arrive and this was 2:10 pm. So the Manager never showed up. Instead the nice waitress brought another order, less the eggs. The point is, we would have ordered something else. This is very unusual for a First Watch, where the Manager never came out. So we ate the food. However, it was very bland and boring. How about some lettuce or tomato or something to dress it? How about some fruit? Not even any garnish. Add potatoes or fruit or something.... For $9.59, the same just about for any other item. First Watch folks, you need to evaluate this item. Either add to it or delete it all together. Disappointing. Very Poor Value! We ordered potatoes to supplement and they were great! I've ordered carry out here a few times in the past month or so, and each time I've came to pick up my food at the expected pick up time it's not ready. The last two times I've had to wait over half a hour for my food. If I'm ordering the app I shouldn't have to wait much longer than the expected time the app gives me. Excellent! Millie gave us great recommendations and great service. The Million Dollar Bacon was a really tasty side dish with my Lemon Ricotta pancakes, which were SO good! Great service by Waitress Ann. Had the vegetarian Eggs Benedict, it was excellent, coffee..durprised they font serve regular sugar . Pancakes are huge, wasn't the best, but the syrup was devine and helped the cake. Very much like the Kirkwood location. Clean, good service, and great tasting, fresh food. Unlike Kirkwood, twice my order has been wrong. Obviously they corrected it, or I wouldn't go back. But they keep on doing this. While this location is close and more convenient, I'll probably go back to Kirkwood location. The servers need to listen, or the kitchen staff needs to pay closer attention. I have no idea which caused the problems. I would suggest that management figure out which it is and fix it. read more

Jessica, our waitress, was AMAZING! This was our first time here and right from the start, the manager held the door open for us, we were seated immediately, and then we met Jessica. Not only did Jessica greet us with a smile, we felt she truly cared about us having a great experience. Due to numerous food allergies, it's difficult to eat out. Jessica made sure that the food was allergy friendly and confirmed with both the kitchen staff/chef and us to ensure everything was perfect. We also had the good fortune of not just getting Jessica as our waitress, but JP chimed in to help too and we just can't say enough about the friendly, professional, warm, and inviting atmosphere of this establishment.
