This location is fairly new and I have been keeping my eye on it to go check it out. I went around 10 am on a weekday and there was no wait. I loved the open concept. This location also has a outdoor seating area which will be great when the weather warms up. Our server was amazing and provided great customer service even recommended a few things. I ordered the pancake which was HUGE! Literally covered the whole plate. One was just enough. The potatoes and eggs were well seasoned. Such a fantastic addition to Calvert County! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately seated on a busy Saturday morning. The restaurant is very cute and clean. Our drink order was taken promptly and our order soon after. As a hot tea drinker, I really appreciated the carafe of hot water, an assortment of organic teas and condiments such as lemon, honey, cream, and sugars. We ordered the French toast and breakfast sandwich with a side of fruit. Our food came out quickly, was very hot and prepared as we had ordered. I removed a few items from my breakfast sandwich and I really appreciated getting my sandwich as ordered. Everything was so delicious that I didn't get to snap a pic before we gobbled it up! The service is terrible far as ur ordering being taken in a reasonable time , even when its not crowded it seem to me that all the African American party's were waiting for 20 to 25 mins to be greated by a waitress, I had to actually stop waitress to ask am I ever going have my order taken walked pass me 6 or 7 times then asked let me go see ,another large group african american got served later than me i came by my self i wont return forshore!! If u wanted to be treated different in a negative way go to this first watch I have been to several all was great I felt valued but not the one in prince Fredrick!!!!! My first ever First Watch experience was at this new location about a month ago. We came at almost closing time then tho so although we enjoyed our visit, we didn't get the full dining experience-in our eyes. So fast forward to this past Sunday morning when we decided we wanted to go back and have a true breakfast experience. This is a newer location that is very well maintained and cleaned and for the first time we noticed they had outdoor seating which we made a mental note of for when the weather warms up. For food, we got a variety of things to share like million dollar bacon, million dollar breakfast potatoes, French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes (no syrup needed, please trust me ok this), biscuits and turkey sausage gravy, chicken apple sausage, and I had one of their fresh pressed juices-that juice was so fantastic. It was called meditation something or the other...morning meditation I believe. Regardless of the name it was one of the best juices I have ever had. Everything was fantastic, it came out hot and fresh and it a was so delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond answering all of our questions, she was accommodating, and was just extremely pleasant overall. I have a breakfast spot that's been near and dear to me for over 20 years and while I will still probably go there on occasion for nostalgic reasons, First Watch is now my first choice for breakfast or brunch. Their food and service is quite impressive. If you are in the mood for fresh cooked eggs, fresh pressed juices, fluffy, heavenly pancakes, crispy and fluffy French toast, and food overall that is not feel preservative laden...get here. I must say First watch restaurant in Price Frederick is a 10 out of 10. The food was amazing. Piping hot as if it was cooked and served in front of you. The service is impeccable. Taylor was our waitress and she was awesome. Warm greetings and great customer service. And as soon as you walk in. It feels like home. The place is very spacious and the people were very friendly. The food and service were excellent. We went on a semi busy morning and it was a little louder than you would expect it to be.

Our food looked good. Hubbie had oatmeal topped with banana and pecans brown sugar and milk on the side. Came with a muffin of the day. Choc. He said all very good. I ordered salmon benny with regular home fries. Whole meal was cold. Coffee was very good. Waitress ok. New place in Prince Frederick everything was spotless. A nice addition to the area. The kitchen was not up to the task of an over-easy egg. The coffee,however,was wonderful.

It was packed, but the service was great. Our server checked in with us multiple times and was welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. The food was delicious. We were a party of four--three of us ordered The Works omelette, which was very flavorful. The side of greens was fresh, and the fruit was also fresh and tasty. Went opening morning and was seated right away. Quality of food was great! Million dollar bacon was on the colder side, but not sure how that comes. Decor was modern a with a location touch with the Baltimore Oriole painted under the Prince Frederick sign. Will definitely be a favorite spot! read more

The waiter assigned to our area was a little behind when we first got seated, but another waiter stepped in to assist us by taking our drink orders. (great customer service and working as a team). Underwhelming when considering the price. Wife's order was delayed, then delivered wrong. The hash skillet potatoes and tomatoes had an artificial aftertaste. Coffee was very bitter, we like dark roasted coffee, this tasted like the bottom of the very large commercial urn. Service was attentive. Will be a long time before we try it again. read more

The manager was no where to be found and the hostess did not have a clue about how to seat a restaurant. She had 10's people clogging the door, multiple tables open, when I asked why she wasn't seating she said she had to wait for tables of four to come, there were multiple tales of two open. Instead of going and cleaning some tables that were open but not cleaned she just stood there staring at her screen. I asked again...then she asked me my name, I gave it to her she said we notified you, I said you never said anything, she then said "we texted you" I gave my number but didn't have my phone and I was literally standing right in front of her, she never said my name, nothing. Long story short good feed but staff needs more training and a sense of urgency at the hostess position. read more

I have not been to First Watch since I left Virginia in 2022. It is my first time here. I was so happy because the waitress was so polite so was the manager. But the other waitress was extremely rude! Her tone of her voice was rude and she talked to me like I was a child. The manager gave me a hug outside and I respect her, she tried to mitigate the situation once she found out. The waitress argued with me about I should let the waitress know about that I have allergies. How am I supposed to know that there is bacon in's steak and eggs. I took myself time to read the menu when I came, I have not been outside for three weeks and as a single woman Veteran with PTSD and chronic pain I just wanted a moment to myself. My daughter who is a comedian in Washington State wanted to visit when she came here- but we didn't make it- so I told her next time we will visit. There will be no next time- ever. I really just wanted to have a relaxing breakfast and I left stressed and I am shaking. My nerves are on edge. It took me a lot to keep my bearings, not to yell and go odd at the rude waitress and have self control. I could have gone the other way, but I told her I do not want the food after she kept on arguing with me as I told her I did not know that the food had pork in it as I thought that Steak and eggs mean steak and eggs. I was talking to my friend on the phone as well, who is a professor at the University of Howard ands was recommending the restaurant- but this was a few minutes before I began to eat and realized that there is bacon in it. I really don't like how someone can talk to a Veteran this way- we are struggling with PTSD and we just want to live in peace after a hard life of service- at least it was for me. I do not appreciate the way I was treated. I never felt so disgraced since I moved here by any establishment in Calvert County. Most people are polite and friendly here. If she had a bad day, she could have just not showed up at work. Instead of arguing with me, she could have said- I am sorry for the misunderstanding- can I help you- to bring another plate- bit nor she said:" DID YOU TELL THE WAITRESS THAT YOU HAD A FOOD ALLERGY AND I SAID NO- and she said: YOU NEED TO TELL THE COOKS AND THE WAITRESS THAT YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY "- not in a polite way nor her tone and inflection of her voice was a moment of tact. This is a customer service job- I was a waitress in Florida when I was young- serving under different capacities and I was a waitress overseas as well- working for the military as well before I became a soldier myself. My aunt owned a hotel and restaurant in Turkey and I have worked in restaurants in Germany- Greek, Italian, Turkish and American- I cannot imagine that after all of these years and including my military service I get treated like garbage by a rude waitress. My hands are shaking and I am trying to calm down- my PTSD had me sleeping last night three hours and all I wanted is to have a good day. I will never go back there again! And the man and the waitress the young lady that poured me coffee, to be fair- they do not deserve to carry the burden of that stress that this waitress has given to me. Respect to them - but I am not changing my review to anything better- even with the kind offer of the manager- it wasn't about money- it was about the experience and the unacceptable behavior they f the waitress- who has messed up my day and now I need to find a way to get myself back to calm and normal after this stressful and disrespectful morning. I sometimes help to look out for Veterans Groups to help out to find large tables to dine in- we meet sometimes to eat at various restaurants- when I am able to leave my house and that is the only time I get to see people- usually we are a group of 10-20 people on average- this place- is not a place I recommended to our group- I texted them after I left and I will not be coming back. I told my daughter as well, who came out of state and she is in the Show business- that we will not be dining there. After four years of not having been at any First Watch and having returned for the first time- no thank you- I will not return, This waitress was so rude and condescending- I have no need to be treated like that. I take my business, my friends and my group where we are treated like people, not being attacked and blame-shifted by an employee- who clearly does not know how to use the tone of her voice towards customers. read more

Waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and everything seemed to be running smoothly.

Everything was very underwhelming and only edible because we were starving. (Gave two stars instead of one because the service was still good.) The dining area had lots of space so at least if it's crowded hopefully the wait wouldn't be too bad. My omelette barely had anything in it. My husband's hash skillet was mostly potatoes and again barely had anything in it. Our potatoes were hard/burnt. We ordered the popular lemon ricotta pancakes as well and they were dry and had no flavor. There was a lump of fake tasting/looking lemon pudding stuff lumped on top but the strawberries were ripe at least. Coffee was typical diner coffee. Cold brew was disappointing and bitter. Tasted like old brewed coffee that had been chilled...not actual cold brew. The only thing that was good was the toast and jam. Total waste of $62 breakfast. All the professional pics of the food are completely misleading. I was looking forward to having a nice dining option in Calvert so it's unfortunate this was such a poor experience. read more
