Very disappointed in breakfast here.We were the first ones in the door and looking forward to a good birthday breakfast. We both ordered the Tri-fecta: 2 scrambled eggs, bacon and Belgian waffle. The eggs must have been the smallest size and were not scrambled but like fried eggs chopped up. The waffle was tough, not crispy, and not very hot. Server gave us coffee when we sat down but the pot he left on the table was empty. No water offered. The only good thing was the bacon. Will not be going back. read more

My experience at first watch was so wonderful ! Our waitress was vanessa & she was so good !! she attended to our needs and our service was perfect ! highly recommended going there and requesting her !!!! read more

Hate to write a bad review but poor service is a reason. Had a great breakfast there last week though service was slow! Tried going today and sitting outside again. Waited 10 mins without even getting water. There were three groups who came in after us, were served coffee and ordered. Very disappointing as food was good. read more

I've been here multiple times since it changed over to First Watch. I love it- have always had fantastic service. The selections are great. The food is fresh. I love a good Benedict and they have some great options. My favorite is the chili chorizo omelet. It's flavorful without being heavy. The bread is amazing!! read more

I've never had a bad experience at first watch. Sam is my favorite waitress, anytime I go in I always ask to see if she is working. The reason why I'm giving First Watch 4 starts is because of the heat. The AC isn't on and the front door is open causing the restaurant to be hot and quite hard to enjoy the meal. It's still a great place to get breakfast, but the lack of cooling makes it very uncomfortable. read more

The food here is not quite as tasty as the location on River Road. Pretty dog gone close though. Why not five stars? I watched with disgust and disappointment as two servers wrapped silverware this morning. One was saying something the other apparently found funny. The bald headed recipient of what was said, broke out laughing and dropped his full shaggy bearded face fully onto the pile of napkins in front of him and shook with laughter. His face was fully resting on the open napkin of a future guest while he laughed. Yuck! read more

Food was mediocre and the service was so slow. My family and I waited for at least 30 min for our food and they weren't even busy. The biscuits and gravy were the worst I've ever had. To top it off my dad's food came out cold. will not be returning read more

Really good food, tasty and well prepared. Really long wait to get a table, even longer if they can't get your name right. Online check-in didn't save any time...the 10 minute wait turned into 45. read more

This restaurant is exceptional! With so few choices in the OV, this place breathes life. It's vibrant with delicious food and solid service. I always request Mer as my server as she's attentive and just plain hilarious and warm. read more

Great place for breakfast. Creative menu and excellent service! Try the chia seed pudding with fruit...it's amazing and healthy!

Although this place's food is pretty good and we've went here two other times- both occasions the wait for our food is unreal. I always call ahead to get on the waitlist beforehand because this place can get PACKED. 30-40 min on a Sunday just to get seated. Today when we got sat, our sever quickly took our drink orders and we ordered shortly after. It's been about 35 min since we put our order in and they are 25 min away from closing time. This place needs serious work to get the back of the house moving faster. The wait for food should never be this long. If they can get that worked out this place will be much more desirable. Thankfully we have a buy one get one coupon today...geez. read more

I came in on a Friday and was seated with little delay. You could tell they were cleaning tables as quickly as possible and really cared about my wait time. I ordered a Chili Chorizo Omelette and a Morning Meditation juice. Within ten minutes I had my order, with excellent plating/presentation. The omelette was one of the best I've had and the juice was equal in quality. The service I received was also 5 star. I will be back. read more

My husband and I came here Monday morning to have breakfast and there weren't a lot people which was really nice. The interior and overall ambience of the place is lovely. Wonderful staff and a lot of healthy options in their menu. Food was great and we particularly love their blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon. The smell of the place can be improved. Still one of the best breakfast places we've found so far and we plan on going back. read more

A great spot for healthy eats! Their fresh juices are amazing and the staff is always exceptional!

A horrible place. I was waiting 40 minute and they brought me cold breakfast. I told them to take it back and waited forever for a new plate. I left hungry and angry. read more

First, no problems with wait staff. Very attentive. However, biscuits and gravy and potatoes were ice cold. I asked for a reheat which was done promptly, but only elevated temp from ice cold to cold. Didn't want to send the plate back again. Eggs were cooked. The sausage gravy was promising but needed to be at least room temperature. read more

TERRIBLE !! The bacon on my BLT was not only TASTELESS but it was hard as a rock. Shoe leather is softer and probably has far more taste. They don't carry rye bread so I had to eat the BLT between two pieces of cardboard. BTW: Who doesn't serve a BLT on rye? The service was good though. read more

Great food and service. Farm to market style fresh ingredients. Lexi our server was awesome! Will definitely eat here again.

Still best place for breakfast in OV. This is the best First Watch location in the whole Tucson.

Yum, yum, yum. First of all, this place is really cute and quite comfortable. My husband had the brisket hash which was prepared in nice bite sized chunks. It was good though he expected the meat to be a little spicier. I was amazed when my husband said the kale was actually a nice counterpoint to the meat and potatoes because he hates kale. The rest of us opted for a sweeter breakfast. The Florida french toast was covered in lots of juicy fruit. The raspberry sauce was delightful and the toast had a good crunch. The Nutella french toast was equally as delicious. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. I could only eat half! I could see the whipped ricotta in the pancakes which made them light and sweet. I love lemon curd but these cakes needed only a little bit for each bite. Really a delicious way to start the day! read more

Two years since my first experience. Family in town visiting, menu was fulfilling for the vegetarians in the group. Went simple. Off the breakfast a la carte menu, grits and whole wheat toast. Ten person group all enjoyed their offering selection. My meal, not including coffee, was $5.00 w/o tax. Out the door, per plate, including tip was $15.00 per plate. Expensive breakfast. Coffee, at $2.89, was more expensive than either of my selections. read more

This is one of the best breakfast places I've ever eaten. Coffee is first rate. Great menu with lots of vegetarian options. Great service. Biggest problem is getting in the door. Very popular. read more

I miss good egg! The food is great and I appreciate the update on the atmosphere and the menu. I had the eggs Benedict BLT served with arugula greens and a side of sausage. The portion size was smaller than I am used to. There aren't that many sides with your plate now. I basically just had eggs Benedict and greens. The prices are increased as well for drinks ! $2.59 for iced tea read more

I miss the Good Egg. We drove here for Father's Day, not realizing that the restaurant was now First Watch. The restaurant itself looks nice with the remodeling. But overall, the food selection was very bland as well as overpriced. Almost $9 for just two pieces of French toast, with no sides. The kid selection is also bland. We ordered a pancake for our son, but it was multigrain and my son refused to eat it. Needless to say, we won't be going back. read more

food was good - really good egg dishes ALL of them expecially the Elote (corn) dishes. 4 stars only cause the two times ive been there i FROZE ... i mean really lower your air conditioner a wee bit to a little warmer temp! read more

These are the hardest working server's in Oro Valley! Always a smile on their faces and are quick and accurate when it comes to orders. Highly recommend Firat watch read more

Don't let the name fool you, this is no First Watch. The Good Egg needs to learn how to become First Watch, because this place is currently failing. Our sever was good, but the food was below average. I am used to really enjoying My food at a real First Watch, but the eggs were poorly cooked, my veggies were old, and the potatoes were undercooked as well. To top it off we had two other servers/bussers making fun of some customers that left. The one named Steven was saying "if you don't like the toast, then we don't want your business (hahahahah)". What??? The management at this place needs to step up their game. They were also playing club music when the average age of the guests was probably 55. read more

Great menu, great food, great service. Prices are quite reasonable. Will go back frequently.

I have eaten a at the first watch up here in Phoenix. I was in Oro Valley for a site visit. We decided to stop by here for lunch since it was good in phoenix. I ordered a club style sandwich and it was pretty good. I got a salad for the side and it was good too. They got the order right too. I did not want avocado or tomatoes and they did not put that on. What a plus for me. We did order a couple of muffins to go too. They were chocolate and mine did not make it to the car since I ate it while paying the bill. This is a great place and I will stop by if I am in the area. read more

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Oro Valley. We moved from So Cal and it's been hard to find impeccable service and innovative food consistently in this area. This place always delivers. This time we ordered a kale tonic and a turmeric lemon aid which were phenomenal. The avocado toast with basted eggs and the millionaire's bacon were both excellent. I highly recommend making this place a regular stop! read more

First Watch - Tasty kale tonic and turmeric lemon aid!! - Cafes Near Me - Oro Valley, Arizona

Atmosphere is very nice, I can't remember our waiters name but he was also very nice. We had the free entree deal so it was reasonable for two of our meals, if we didn't have that it would be on the pricier side but that what you come to expect in Oro valley. Me and my GF both got eggs Benedict , she was ehh on hers but that was on her for ordering eggs and avocado which was something she didn't like too much. I had some special eggs Benedict that was very good, an 7-8/10 for eggs Benedict. The toast or whatever was the bread for it was just a tad too overdone. But I'm sure I could go back and receive a 9/10 eggs Benedict on a different day. read more

The wife and I stopped in at this location for breakfast. The service was great and the food was even better. If you're in the neighborhood stop in. read more

Great menu and haven't ever had anything that wasn't nearly perfect. My new favorite is the Braised Short Rib Benedict with the eggs scrambled rather than poached. No one could ever go wrong eating here. The place was packed this morning, but we were called within 20 minutes which was fine. Try the Morning Meditation, which makes a nice combo with breakfast. read more

For breakfast, this is a good option in Tucson. Originally a health conscious menu under a different name.

Super mediocre food and slow service. This place is kitschy and cheesy with very bland food. Won't be returning.

Service was nice, and the food was delicious. We ordered egg white omelet, power breakfast, market skillet, avocado toast, and lemon ricotta pancakes...it was mouth watering. I will be back! But I would suggest that the dishwasher get checked because a few of the coffee mugs did not look very clean. read more

Went out to a Sunday Breakfast with family. It was busy and the staff handled it very well; friendly and kept things moving. As I walked in I liked the look of the contemporary design. I ordered a summer special Tomato Burrata Toast. It had fresh basil and two basted eggs. It was delish!!! Tomatoes were perfect and the basil added such a nice and fresh flavor. First Watch has their own multi-grain thick cut toast which was great too! Asking around the table everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Service was good throughout the meal. Recommend and will return for sure!!!! read more

Have been here several times. The place has excellent and creative breakfast entrees.

I really want to like this place but I just can't. I love omelettes and they tend to be terribly over cooked here each time that I try them. The service is okay but not great. Not sure why they don't offer espresso or cappuccino either. Maybe I always just order the wrong thing. read more

I had never been to a First Watch, but an old friend suggested we meet up there for lunch. I browsed the menu outside while I waited on her to arrive. Another person showed up and pointed out that nothing had prices, which likely meant it was expensive. She was right. I had the Power Wrap which is turkey, egg whites, Swiss cheese, and spinach in a tomato tortilla. It came with fresh fruit and was truly delicious, but it was also almost $10. So, I won't be coming here often, but it's a nice place if you want something fresh and good tasting. read more
