I thought they would've been more prepared for the busyness of Father's Day but clearly NOT. We arrived and saw the wait but also saw plenty of tables on the patio and inside that had not been bussed, hence we were hopeful. Then we went to put our names in and the hostess told us it would be a 1 hour & 20 min wait. REALLY??? Did all of the bussers call in sick?? It seems the management needs some reworking. This being our first visit today after reading about it in the northglenn resident paper. The food was fresh and prepared as ordered. I would like to emphasize FRESH! The feel seemly was California contemporary kind of fast, modern and health cognizant. The specialize fruit drinks were tasty with ginger that was a nice kicker. We will try again! read more

My server was a young, energetic brunette woman. She was friendly and prompt with her service. The older lady at the check-out counter was a little more sour, but overall the staff seemed happy and helpful. The ambiance is open, airy and homey. The food was good. What a great find! This place has great healthy options, freah squeezed juice and friendly staff. No fuss, no muss... just simply great. The manager, Robert, was friendly and helpful. It's nice to see such cleanliness and attention paid to detail in an open kitchen like that. The yelp page says full bar but we were informed that it was only bloody Mary's and Mimosas which was exactly what we were looking for any way so it was no big deal. The bloody Mary needs work, too red for us, and could use a good dose of spices but the Mimosas were great! We will be back! read more

Great Breakfast.... Healthy but Very Tasty! Service was excellent!

First Watch was a disappointment. We arrived at 9:20 on a Saturday morning and were given an estimated wait of 10-15 minutes for a party of three. No problem. Until 25 minutes later, we were finally seated. The waitress arrived quickly and brought coffee, which was very weak. It took another 20 minutes after placing our order to get our food, I had biscuits and gravy with eggs and my children had bacon and eggs and pancakes from the kids menu. They forgot the eggs on my plate, so I had to wait for those. The biscuits were dense and did not taste homemade as promised. The gravy was bland and under seasoned. Nothing was bad, it was just very blah and underwhelming. The kids enjoyed their food, the pancake is a ridiculous portion for a child's menu though. It's at least 8" in diameter, easily double what most kids would eat. It's wasteful and they ought to make a kid-sized pancake and drop the price a dollar or two. The kids menu items were $5.50- pretty high for kids fare. We also never saw our waitress again until well after we were done eating, when I had to flag her down for our check. Overall a disappointing experience and I don't think we'll be back. read more

Wanted to try a new restaurant got there at 10:15 I was told the wait was 30 to 40 minutes, we waited an hour and a half , we rechecked our place was told another 20-30 minutes, total wait ended up to be two hours so I finally left. Just wished the hostesses would let people really know how long the wait really is. Totally disappointed! read more

Friendly staff, decent service for the fast casual chain it is. Had the Benedict Florentine which was slathered in prepared fake hollandaise, utterly tasteless and nearly inedible. Also, the coffee was burned. Honestly, Panera tastes better and costs less. read more

Worst Togo order I have ever had anywhere !!! place was empty when I got there at 815 am ... put my order in and watched people come in after me get seated and get their food eat and leave before I even get a update of my Togo order... it sat back in the kitchen for 30 mins cause they were waiting on bags? like I care about a bag I want my food hot and fresh .. but since I had to wait my boxes were soggy and food was cold when I got them .. didn't get any apologies from the staff or mgrs for the wait ... if you don't have any Togo bags at least give the customer a choice if they even want one instead of making the food cold and soggy ... took over a hour to get my food ! read more

So I love breakfast! I used to serve at the best breakfast place, the eggshel... until they closed for Good. I've been on a journey to find my next favorite breakfast place! As a long time server, I realize the keys it takes to making a restaurant great! From every part of the restaurant as soon as you walk in the door to paying out. The whole experience here at first watch was supreme! When we first walked in we were told there would be a 30 to 45 minute wait, which is expected especially on a Saturday morning. So we waited and it was way faster than we expected they had an awesome app that you could download to see your place in line which was fun to kind of keep an eye on. They had coffee and water out to sip on while we waited. The atmosphere was very clean and beautiful and cozy. They had amazing drink choices, we got the kale drink it was so good! My son got this cinnamon waffle, it was out of this world! And my daughter got the biscuits and gravy which came with turkey gravy which she loved! Our waitress Katie was super sweet. Everything tasted amazing from start to finish it is definitely Now by far my most favorite breakfast place to eat at. I'm already craving it and we just ate there yesterday. The food also came out in a timely manner and nothing was messed up. It came out perfectly just the way we ordered. Props to the cooks and managers overseeing a smooth operating business, because I know how stressful it can be, especially on a weekend. Not only do I plan to eat there again, but I hope I am able to share my serving experience at this great restaurant that should be opening up in Arvada soon can't wait!! Thanks guys! This place is not good and not bad. It's a chain, so the first time I ate here was at their Baltimore area location. The wait was long and the food was just okay. When I saw they were building one close to our house, we were happy to be getting another breakfast spot. Decided to give it a try, and just like before, the food was just average at best. They undercooked my pancakes and they were raw in the middle. They did take them off the bill. My grandma and mother wanted to go to breakfast while visiting and it was snowing, so I didn't feel like trekking down to Snooze. Decided to take them here instead. The food was okay. They got the pancakes right this time, but they lacked flavor. The bacon was good. I wouldn't voluntarily choose to go back to this place, but if a group of friends were meeting here, I would tag along. I do like that you can check in with the No Wait app, so my table is ready when I get there. read more

When I took my first bite of the veggie sandwich, I almost shouted an expletive, because I was shocked by how much deliciousness was in that first bite! Seriously, so good. Especially since I never expect too much from a veggie Sammie. My toddler kept wanting more and more bites of my tomato basil soup, but I didn't really want to share! It was seriously delicious food. It came out fast, hot, and it is all reasonably priced. I will be back. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the service. It was good, but not quite 5star worthy. I'll certainly be back. I was there yesterday and I've been there many times before, because it is really good there is always a wait time and we know that but yesterday was unbelievable even though I have the mobile app and I reserved a table ahead of time when we got there, we waited for almost half an hour to be seated when we were told it was going to take 15 minutes, when we finally were seated we told the server we were ready to order he took the order and it took an hour, yes another hour to get half of the order and when we got the second half it was wrong, the server was friendly and nice I don't really know if it was his fault or not, we never got water on the table, it was just dreadful to make things worst the hostess/cashier was so rude and mean never smiled, never looked in the eye I think she was just tired and over with her day, yes the food is great but for that price and bad service is just not worth it. read more

Where do I start. The wait time was 40 minutes to be seated. That's fine, if there's wait usually means great food. While we were waiting we noticed none of the tables had food and none of the staff had a sense of urgency. That's odd for a breakfast joint. But makes perfect sense because the kitchen was so far in the weeds there was nothing for the servers to do. When we finally sat and ordered we waited another hour for our food to arrive. The food was awful. Nothing special. It was bland and cold. The best part of the meal was the free coffee while we were waiting and the mint on our way out. read more

We have eaten here a few times and really liked the food. Husband enjoys the variety of fresh juices. There is usually a wait on the weekends but we have found it to be worth it. They have had free coffee available while we wait which is part of the reason we have stayed. The one bad part is the lack of a bar but I have heard a rumor that they now have Bloody Marys and mimosas. Will have to go back and will re-evaluate afterwards. read more

i'm a big fan of breakfast and am so thankful i've found first watch. it had a really pleasant atmosphere and wasn't as loud as some other, popular breakfast places. the seasonal menu had some great options (i tried the fig toast...yum!); my friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, which she let me taste, and it was really good...a little lighter, but surprisingly full of flavor. we split a pumpkin pancake, and it was the perfect light and fluffy texture with rich pumpkin flavor. the root down juice completed our brunch, and it was one of the best fresh juices i've had in a while (the ginger really made it for me). there was a great mix of traditional breakfast options and some a little more out of the box, which i tend to prefer. i will definitely be going back! read more
