I took a day off and wanted to try a place I'd been hearing about. A few people said that First Watch was a new breakfast spot I should try. When I arrived I saw the parking lot was looking like they had a busy crowd. I got inside and it did seem a little busy. I told wait staff at the front that the bar would be fine for me to sit. I had no idea what to get but I knew I was leaning in the direction of pancakes or waffles. The lemon ricotta pancakes seem like they would be good. I ordered that and a side of bacon. The person at the bar was very helpful and was attentive. My food came back in no time. In my head I don't know why pictured the lemon ricotta being in the pancakes as opposed to the lemon ricotta being a sauce. It didn't matter the pancakes, with the sauce and the strawberries were delicious. I hadn't had pancakes in a while so I can say these were the best pancakes I had in a long time. And as the sidekick to the pancakes the bacon was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend First Watch. I would definitely be mindful that it will probably be busy if you have more than one person. read more

I finally gave First Watch a try, and overall it was a good experience. To be fair, it was extremely crowded, but that's understandable since they had only been open for about three weeks when I visited. Humanity sees a new breakfast spot and collectively decides eggs are a limited-time resource. Despite the crowd, the service was surprisingly fast and the staff kept everything moving. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and I definitely wasn't expecting the portions to be that huge. They were filling, flavorful, and worth ordering if you have a big appetite. I'd absolutely give First Watch another visit once the initial hype settles down a bit. The only thing I'd really like to see is them get a liquor license. read more

Came for Sunday brunch and had a GREAT time! (No reservations though so I'd recommend arriving early and putting your name down on the wait list especially if you come around peak brunch time. We waited 1.5hours which was fine because we were in no rush. Spent that time perusing nearby shops) The ambiance is so bright and cheery. Love the decor. Food was DELICIOUS! (A little on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion). Everyone loved their orders and throughout the entire meal we kept saying "oh we have to come back here" Can't wait to go back! This has only been open for a couple of weeks. We ordered Belgian Waffles, chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, and an avocado toast with an egg and a side of hollandaise. I got a speciality caramel iced coffee, and a morning meditation. I put the cinnamon powdered sugar on the side with the waffle and was glad I did so. It was a bit much. I used it lightly. The pancake and waffle came out and the toast was re-fired for some reason. Then the eggs were overcooked for over easy. Because they are new and pretty packed, I am giving some mercy here. The decor is airy and inviting, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a wide variety with higher quality, nourishment-minded ingredients in opposition to the typical Sysco garbage being served everywhere else. So excited bcz I love the Lemon Ricardo multigrain pancakes. Came in about 215 on Saturday was very busy at the bar took a minute for the attendant to acknowledge me but once she did, she came and wiped off the bar gave me a menu. I ordered the sweet tea and the ricotta pancakes. Everything came out nice warm just like normal gentlemen forgot to bring me some warm syrup, but once the waitress asked me how everything taste she went and got me some was delicious. My sister and mother and I had brunch here today. I was really, really happy with my choice, and they were mostly satisfied with theirs. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict. Niw, I am a self-proclaimed Benedict connoisseur. It is always my first choice for brunch. I wouldn't call these classics, since they use thinly sliced ham instead of Canadian bacon and a ciabatta bread instead of an English muffin and theirs had a slice of tomato on each one, but I was not mad about any of those differences. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce was some of the best I have ever had. It was perfectly smooth and creamy with the perfect touch of lemon. Yum! I highly recommend!!! However, I was not crazy about the lemon-dressed greens on the side. My sister ordered the half ham and Gruyère sandwich with the kale salad. She liked it very much, and my mom ordered half of a club and bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and enjoyed it very much. The old O'Charleys building has been made much lighter inside with a more open concept. I love what they've done to the place. Today is Monday, and we went around 2:00. We were sat quickly then waited for an extended time. A couple came in after us, ordered, was served and finished before we got our food. My son's eggs were so salty he couldn't eat them. My daughter's tomato basil soup tasted almost like chef boyardee sauce, her eggs were cold and her avocado toast was sub par. Big chunks of solid avocado. I wish I could give this place a good review. The food was good, but our service was terrible. I found a hair in my salad. It was short, black, and curly. None of our party have short, black, curly hair. Our server never came back to offer us a refill of our water. We did not get more water until she brought our check. Additionally, when we sat down, she did not inform us that we would each be charged $4.00 for the coffee she poured us. This was our first time here, we had no prior knowledge.
