Pancake and Bacon with Foster Sauce

This is a good little spot for a fast brunch. Portion sizes are good and service is efficient. It is a casual place so need to dress up unless you desire. I will visit again.

French toast

The food was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this brunch spot. Definitely will be back when we return to town.

We were in Mobile for the day and decided to try Bubbles & Brunch. We rely on Yelp to choose where to eat. Today, Yelp led us here. The reviews were awesome for this place. When we arrived and walked in we were greeted immediately and seated. Heather S was awesome. She knew the menu and made suggestions ( I love this). We ordered and wow it was fast. The food was delicious. The waffles were too sweet. I did not know there was a thin layer of crystalized sugar on them and it made it way too sweet but my eggs were perfect. It's a nice place with reasonable prices. It was a good experience with delicious food.

I'm from Nashville I searched and searched for Mother's Day brunch places and this place was suggested multiple times.. so we went and sat there 20 mins I asked the hostess 2x was someone going to assist she said yes she just got another table.. yall the table had like 6 people. If you can't multitask maybe you're in the wrong field.. anyway mother day isn't starting off right thanks to yall.. we just walked out and we off to anther brunch spot.. I wanted to support this woman own business.. but will never return.

One of the best brunch spots in Mobile. Food is great, portions are huge, and their bloody mary was delish!

Shrimp & Grits with Texaz Toast

I went to Bubbles and Brunch with my Son and Daughter to have brunch with them. They always treat me, and I wanted to do something special for them. I had the Shrimp and grits with Texas garlic toast and an Arnold Palmer. The grits and shrimp were well-seasoned; they contained different peppers that added a sweet and spicy flavor. I had a large, thick portion, and it was terrific. My son had chicken and waffles, and my daughter had the BLT with waffle fries; they both enjoyed their dishes. My daughter said that her bread was toasted with butter, and the bacon was very crispy, and there was a lot of it. She enjoy her fries as well. My Son and I had to go to containers, but my daughter's BLT was out of sight. Ummh Good! The service we received from Gaynell was very friendly, professional, and courteous. She frequently visits our table to see if we need anything else. She brought me more tea, my daughter coffee, and my son his sweet tea with us, even asking. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely come back again. I believe that even the manager came over, asked us if we needed anything, and asked if we were enjoying our food with a beautiful smile.

Southern Brunch Alfredo

Same lovely staff and almost the same amazing food as the brick and spoon that was in the same spot!! We fell in LOVE with some of the new items, the Grilled Shrimp "Southern Brunch Alfredo" was BEAUTIFUL and we preferred the blueberry stuffed French toast to the old stuffed french sliders, and ate that just about as soon as it hit the table! Similar menu, with a few changes overall. Our server Gaynell was amazing and answered all our questions about the menu and the new branding, all I can say is I hope they put a new sign up so more people can see. Quick service, amazing food, happy, fresh staff who are all seeming very excited about the new business! A busy atmosphere but not anymore than you'd expect for a Saturday morning. Left very refreshed feeling compared to our experience with other local brunch spots- Big Bad Breakfast, Cracker Barrel, Etc. Who all seemed to be missing something or another when we dined in. Definitely our best experience so far and we will certainly be returning!

She brought full two biscuits, sliced with gravy and two eggs on top. We said that wasn't what we ordered. Just wanted one egg on the side. She kept saying the eggs are free. "but the eggs are free!" Whatever. We asked for two Carryout boxes to take the extra food. When she brought the bill she just kept standing there waiting then said "I'll take this." Like we weren't supposed to sit there and finish our food and coffee. So I gave her my card. She came back and presented two printouts. Customer copy said "paid in full." I asked if she had already charged my card she answered yes. I asked why I still had a merchant copy to put tip and add if up if she'd already charged me. She said it's ok I'll just add the tip in on the charge. After she had already run my card?!? How does that work? Do I get an additional copy to check what she charged? "No!" It was very confusing and stupid me, when she said they have to do it that way I just picked up my receipt and left. Should have made her rerun it. And, breakfast for two was $44!!! Will NOT be going back.

It was a Friday night and the music was loud, you can sit at the bar or at a table. It was several people eating in. We decided on the Wings with Cajun Nawlins fries, and the Bando Nachos. The Bando has a full menu and bar. The service was great and it wasnt a long wait for the food. I asked for sour cream and salsa for the nachos and they didn't have any so I stopped by the store to get some. I was super excited to try the food. It was super salty. Everything was salty. I tried to move past it because I was so hungry but it completely dried my mouth out and I had to stop. I was really disappointed. Experience 2: 4* We had to go back and give it another try before I left and I'm so glad we did! We had brunch. I had the Chicken and Strawberry Crack Waffle and my friend had the Lamb Chops, Shrimp and Grits. Everything was so good! Big A came to greet us and we told him about our food a few nights before and he explained that the meat is marinated and they probably seasoned it again. He was very apologetic. He told today would be better and he would ensure it. The food was fresh, hot and tasty! We really enjoyed it! We also got some gumbo to go and it was really good! I would definitely return if I was in the area!

3.5 Stars edging to 3…read more Stopped in for a early Sunday Brunch. Parking may be a bit of a problem, you have have to pay to park. We got lucky and found one of the few non metered spots on the street. The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but they where able to seat us promptly. The service was good. Our table ordered several items off the brunch/breakfast menu. I had the Seafood Eggs Benedict. For the most part this was a solid eggs benedict. However the shrimp were away overcooked and rubbery. They were a bit smallish and just not worth the time or charge. Hands down the best part about the dish was the Honey Ham. It was flavorful and there was a good bit included on the dish. In general it was fine, but not exactly worth the $18 it cost. Cubed Hashbrowns: I mixed bag. Every order at the table the Hashbrowns came out a bit different. Mine were undercooked and crunchy inside, I like them overcooked and crispy. Others at the table had them crunch and almost burnt. You can have them come with cheese and onions. I suggest this upgrade. Others at the table had: Eggs Cathedral: Needed salt. The same dry shrimp as the other dishes. Another dish that just did not seem to justify the cost. BLT Croissant: Was an ok looking sandwich, there was a good amount of bacon on the sandwich, however most of it was very well done. $15 Kids "Egg Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 Meat, 1 Toast. Looked fine. Spot of Tea was not a bad meal and there is good diversity to the Breakfast menu. However nothing the table had has was great, just mostly good. The Shrimp however were just bad. It seems that they are cooked in batches early in the day and added to dishes as needed. So I would personally avoid the "jumbo" shrimp dishes. Side note on the shrimp they are the same one that was added to the bloody marry cocktail. I think the biggest hang-up is the price to quality ratio. If you are in the area and want an eggs benedict you may want to give them a try. For me however I think there are better options to get full in the area.
