So anyone who reads my reviews know that it is a rare near impossible feat to get a happy happy joy joy comment out of me simply because most place totally suck because of service, food, or both! NOT THIS PLACE! It's actually really good!!! I even waited until we had three full visits down before I said anything just on the off shot the place secretly sucked and just got lucky the first two visits. Currently on our way for visit number four and actually excited about it. The food is amazing and so far everything we have tried is good. We have found our particular favorite server who we like to sit with - the lady who works the bar. If she's not there when we arrive I may be forced to delete this whole thing - so she can never have a weekend off. The place gets crowded on weekends so either find the window (I can't share that particular secret) or bring some calm along. The place was packed. It took a little bit for the wait staff to get to the front to seat me. Since I was by myself I was ushered to the bar area. The wait staff suggested a breakfast margarita but I declined I was focused on the menu. I had little idea of wanted to get. I decided that since this was my first time here I would order something more traditional. The Big Bad Breakfast plate seemed perfect. It came with eggs, meat, choice of bread, and a side. I ordered scrambled eggs, mild bacon, biscuit, and grits. Now my order came back really fast. It didn't even seem like 5 minutes had passed. The food looked incredible. It tasted the same way. First off the biscuit was huge. The wait staff brought me some homemade blueberry jelly which was really good on the buttery biscuit. The bacon was cooked to perfection and it was delightful. It was a thick cut of bacon that you don't regularly have at breakfast spots. The eggs were scrambled well. The highlight of the meal was the grits. They weren't my normal grits but I enjoyed them so much. They were called The Original Grit Girl Grits, which I have no idea why. They had sort of the a sweet flavor but were so delicious. My hubby got an omelette with a biscuit. The pancake was different but super good, the biscuit was light, buttery and fluffy..the potatoes were crispy and flavorful. The grits were my least favorite. We have visited this location for BBB several times now on different days (Mostly Sunday) and we have yet to be disappointed!! The food is very good with lots to choose from and flavor galore!! You got try their skillet breakfast. Absolutely delicious and very nice portions. The service was exceptional and the staff is very friendly. Everyone we have encountered was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. The one flaw that they seem to have is space when it gets busy. Overall the restaurant is not that small but large crowds (like on a Sunday) can overwhelm them and can drive up wait times. Although annoying, we have always waited because the food is that good and the prices are customer friendly. We will definitely continue to make the pilgrimage over to BBB even if we have to wait sometimes. read more

Best breakfast place I have been to! Stopped by this place on a Saturday morning before heading home. We had the Flapjacks, breakfast skillet, hash browns, and chicken and waffles. The food all had a wonderful flavor and the chicken was moist and seasoned well. We asked for their special hot sauce on the side and it was so good that we ordered bottles to take home. This is my second time visiting and each time the food was simply "okay". This time I ordered the skillet with no potatoes. Therefore I'm supposed to be left with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, shrimp, peppers and onions. For some reason, they left the cheese off and it was not seasoned properly for my taste. First experience was great, had a smash burger. Eight months later, was in the area & decided to pop in for a smash burger again... BBB really went downhill. There was absolutely nothing "smash" about the burger, it was basically just a well-done patty. Not thin & pressed, no caramelization, nothing that makes a smash burger a smash burger. Also, it looked like it was thrown together by a toddler. Pickles all on one side, tomato sliding off, haphazard lettuce, dollop of sauce just thrown at it, and two overly burnt thin slices of bacon. I actually had to take it apart & rebuild it just so I could attempt to eat it the way burgers are meant to be enjoyed. Ate half & was over it, the struggle was not worth it. Apparently BBB thinks it's worth it though. Between the burger & a mimosa with entirely WAY too much orange juice, the bill was $30. THIRTY DOLLARS (before tip) for a bullsh*t burger and some oj with a splash of tap Prosecco? What an awesome experience. After traveling 8 hours from Texas, this was the breakfast stop of choice. Our server Sarah did an awesome job and allowed us to take our time reviewing the menu. The Tabasco bacon was very good as well as the super large eggs. The homemade jelly was also a big hit. The only downfall, the jelly is made in house and they have no means of taking some home with you. My wife and shared the peach and blueberry. If I could have, I would have purchased a case of each. These would be great gifts for the holidays. I will make it a point to visit their other locations during my travels. read more
