Stopped by for breakfast. Our waitress was very nice but she took a while to come to the table and it took a while to get our food. I had the short rib omelet. It was delicious. Good amount of meat and mushrooms and the flavor was great. My friend had the truffle mushroom hash. She said it was good but lacking mushrooms. I saw a few. Maybe they put them all in my omelet. But definitely needs more mushrooms to be called a mushroom hash. The coffee was good and she enjoyed the OJ. read more

Ughh I really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't up to par. The service is amazing so that's not even why this review is being written up. Everyone was super sweet and attentive. The food was mediocre. I had really high expectations since this restaurant opened right by my house, I was excited. The first encounter with First Watch is the branch in Broward by Pembroke Pines. Most of my experience with First Watch was in Miami by Blue Lagoon Shopping Center. I do know that they have several branches all over the state, including one that I just vacationed and wish I knew since it was a few minutes from Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa. That will be my next visit. I loved every item on the menu so far. Their portions, prices, presentation, specially if you are a breakfast or brunch lover. Some people can have breakfast all day long, including myself. Although their menu indicates that they serve (breakfast, brunch and lunch) it keeps driving your eyes to breakfast items only (eggs everywhere). There is a couple of things that I would like to point out to keep you from being surprised. During the weekends, they are packed. I highly recommend calling to find out the waiting as this could upset you and it wouldn't be their fault. They are great for small and large groups as well, but sometimes people complaint about some slow servers. I have gotten a couple, one was great and the other was always MIA. But overall, I loved the place and their concept. Please check out my pictures for a preview. My favorite item so far is the Parma Skillet Hash. Love coming to this place!! The food is fresh and healthy. My all time favorite is the million dollar bacon it's a must appetizer. I also really like their eggs Benedict. Another great feature they offer is the online check in. Check in where ever you are and see their wait time. When you get there just check in with the host. I just wished they were open all day. I love ANTHONYs customer service. I wish all restaurants had a person like him! He needs to teach them all! He is wonderful in anticipating customers needs. He recommended their turkey burger and I do not regret one bit of it. I devoured that burger, in a classy way of course. It's juicy, comes with avocado and tomatoes which I love. Yum! The breakfast we ordered was delicious! My little one ordered chocolate chip pancakes, sausage and an egg. It was such a fluffy and tasty pancake. The syrup was very yummy as well. I had the eggs Benedict. Thy have a good variety to choose from. It was a great sized portion and delicious as well. We also shared the biscuits and gravy and I totally recommend that! In Miami for a girls trip! An employee at Pullman Hotel recommended this place to us, said it's the best & everything taste good. This is our third time here in two days. The first two visits OMGGG our tastes buds were in heaven! I ordered the trifecta & my girls ordered the traditional breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon etc) everything was so damn good especially the blackberry lemonade recommended by our waitress. We were so satisfied with our meals we had to come back BUT during our third visit I don't know if the chef was tired or what but baby it was blahhh. The bacon was over cooked, the home fries weren't home-frying everything's over cooked this third visit. I'll still recommend this place because it's so good & the service is top top! Went here this morning for breakfast. It just opened on Monday of this week and it looks like they are still sorting things out. Surprisingly it wasn't that busy at all, perhaps because it's so new. Our waitress was friendly and informed us about the different specials, but she forgot to bring us the water we asked. We ordered the Healthy Turkey and the Chickichanga breakfast dishes. We had to wait over 30 minutes for them to arrive, and the Healthy Turkey dish was cold. It seems they made it first, and let it sit, while a cook eventually got to the Chickichanga. The latter tasted really good, with the tortilla filled with avocado, chicken, spicy sauce, and lots of cheese. My dish came with a fruit cup, and while I was eating it, another waitress reached over and took my main plate away. I didn't like that. If I'm still eating, don't take my plate away. Further, our waitress brought the bill when we're weren't even close to being finished with our meals. It seems to me that there needs to be a bit more training on proper server etiquette here. This place is def worth the wait! Today was their first Sunday open since the Coronavirus. All the tables are reasonably away from each other and all the staff is wearing a mask. The food here is one of the best breakfast food in Miami without a doubt. However, note that because they are taking less people in, the wait time is way longer than before. So if they tell you 30/35 minutes, that means that most likely is over an hour. But again, worth the wait. All the staff is happy to see you there. Again, they are readjusting to this "new way" of serving. So be patient, things are taking longer than normal. Shout out to Terrence! Today, we finally returned to First Watch. It was packed but from the moment we came in, we felt welcomed. The 30 minute wait was totally worth it. They had fresh coffee at the door and some areas where we could sit and wait for our table. The two ladies who were managing that traffic handled it efficiently. When we sat down our server, Alex was kind, professional and attentive. Every single one of our meals was delicious. Wonderful place!! My wife has been here a few times, and kept telling me how wonderful it is. Today was my first visit here. We arrived at 7:10 on a Sunday morning for breakfast; we were the only customers present that early. The service was very friendly and swift. By the time we left it was starting to get busy. We were quickly given menus and a lot of coffee arrived soon after. I was very happy to discover that they use Red Mill grits... a non GMO brand that I can eat without an allergic reaction that I have to GMO corn. What a treat to have their "cheesy grits"! For breakfast my wife had the ricotta pancakes, and I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. My only criticism is that the tomatoes on the Benedict were firm and under ripe... partly green in the middle. This would have been perfect with some nice juicy properly ripe tomatoes. These tomatoes were flavorless. The very good sauce and salmon mostly made up for them, however. This was definitely a nice place for breakfast, and we'll be returning very soon! read more

Food is excellent and their online check-in comes extremely handy as they get pretty busy for breakfast on weekends. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is because this location does not offer brunch cocktails like the Naples location does. I also found the staff in Miami to lack in hospitality and friendliness. Service was okay as they seem to want to turn over tables rather quickly to serve the next party. OH MY BRUNCH! This place is a gem! A hidden gem . When you enter you feel the rustic farmhouse vibes with warm lights perfect for your selfies. There is usually a wait but I HIGHLY suggest joining their waitlist on google before arriving. The seating is not crowded or overbearing and it's a big space. The menu is HUGE but strangely affordable. We got the farmhouse hash and the elevated egg sandwich. First off the farmhouse hash, WOW! It's incredibly big and flavorful. It wasn't overly seasoned but seasoned enough that ketchup wasn't needed on the potatoes or nothing. Brings a little side of fruit and it was so filling! It was a true brunch plate fulfilling both meals into one! Bacon was also at its perfect point crunchy but not burned or soggy! The elevated egg sandwich was basically the farmhouse but in a sandwich form. But so amazing I can't even process it. I'm a huge fan of gruyere cheese and this was the first time I saw it as the preferred cheese choice of the sandwich. The flavors of the ingredients complimented each other perfectly and was also very filling! I also got the morning meditation juice which if you're not a fan of health juices it might be a hard take. But as someone who loves health juices it was refreshing and just great! Our server Citlally was very nice and polite. Came around exactly when needed but not overbearing and was even the one who basically chose my juice for me.
