I wanted Eggs Benedict! (That's my foofoo brunch of choice.) First Watch came up as one of the highest rated brunch spots. Satisfying enjoyment fulfilled! They're in a shared lot with other stores and restaurants, so nearby parking may be troublesome. Mask requirements had just begun to dwindle and the place was packed with about a 15-minute wait. A single-seater or couple had shorter wait times. With a downloadable menu, my order was ready to be placed upon sitting. As for coffee - a pitcher and 4 cups later, very alert and dehydrated. Caffeine addict problems... They've got fresh ingredients on their menu items - close to being farm to table; which could be the craze on that scale for healthy eating choices. I love their menu! That made it difficult to decide. Considering their busy atmosphere, with people standing as they waited, the service at this Miami location was tip-top. My server was very attentive; even the manager dropped by to ensure of my pleasant experience. (You guys, if they see you taking pictures, they are most likely aware you may post a review of their service.) Even so, I dined there with excellent food and customer service, delicious quality and presentation, including a decent cost for a foofoo meal. Recently, I learned this restaurant is a franchise. I do not know what it is about nearly every single First Watch I've eaten at but the service, across the board, is mediocre at best. I loooooove their eggs Benedict and their avocado toast so much, I try a new location whenever the opportunity presents itself but dang. I'm probably going to stop trying though. Excellent service can really help with Meh food but meh service can only be carried so far by good food. Maybe they need new training classes or something...... Just sayin read more

where my friends had just got to Miami for a vacation and decided to stop at first watch for breakfast/brunch. We were so hungry after our flight and honestly making this. Our first stop was the best decision I never had lemon ricotta before so it was a First and I loved it. I'm no longer in Florida but I definitely will be back at another location to have the same exact thing. I got the trifecta with lemon ricotta pancakes which came with eggs and bacon, I believe. in addition I also had a side of hot chocolate. The food did take a little while to come out but honestly we didn't mind I'll see were just all chatting away anyways, but the food was definitely a 10 out of 10. Our server and service was amazing. Best place to enjoy some healthy fresh food! They have a variety of breakfast and lunch on the menu. They do close at 2:30 pm so they do not have any dinner options. However the million dollar bacon is a must try! It has a sweet pepper taste to it and it is perfectly cooked. I also recommend the breakfast tacos it comes with avocado, eggs and chicken. Everything here taste so good and fresh, they also have vegan options, definitely worth coming here every time. read more

We just got off a plane and this location was super convenient. As soon as we sat down the server immediately gave us a whole carafe of coffee. Perfect. I first dined at First Watch in Phoenix and had a great experience. This one was equally good with food that will not disappoint. They have such a varied menu with options for both the meat lovers and vegans in the family. Healthy options such as egg white omelets or even southern style grits with either butter or cheese on top. Be prepared for a wait for breakfast given social distancing. There is a Starbucks in the same shopping center so you can grab a coffee while you wait. Bon appétit! read more

I loved that I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I was immediately served water and asked what I would like to drink. I ordered coffee. It was a nice blend. Not too strong. It was easy on my stomach. They had a variety of creamers and sugars on the table. The waiter gave me and my friend plenty of time to order. He was very patient and answered any questions we had. I ordered the farmhouse hash. It comes with potatoes, tomatoes, onions, avocado, cheese, bacon, and 2 eggs any style. It was GOOOD!!! I chose to have my eggs sunny side up. You know the food is good when you don't even take photos of it. That and honestly we had just flown back from Chile and we just wanted some good ol' American food. We got in just in time for breakfast and we wanted something nearby and reliable. First Watch it was. I used to frequent this area back in the day and had no idea they had opened a First Watch there. Going in, the restaurant is was packed. We put our names and waited around 15-20 minutes to be sat. We ended up eating at the community table, which was a first for me. It wasn't bad at all. Ordered coffee and orange juice for drinks. Had avocado toast and the chickichanga for our meals. Became vacuums and sucked up our meals. Got the tab and paid up front. Very uneventful all things considered, but it was what we needed after traveling 10+ hours. read more

This place was one of my favs back home and I'm glad to have one so close to us here. Very clean and the food is fresh and very good. I hope that it maintains this status for years to come. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the greeting wasn't anywhere near what it felt like back home, cheerful and happy to see you. Instead it was a reminder that "it's Miami" and sadly most places in Miami don't nail it in the welcoming. Cute spot for breakfast. It's good for groups. I had the salmon eggs Benedict for breakfast which was a bit too soggy. It only was annoying when I asked for feta cheese on the salad and they charged me without telling me. The coffee was a bit below average and I didn't feel it. Good location close to the airport, but boy was I misled by reviews. Would have been nice if I liked this place as we apparently have 5 First Watches back home, but this place was extremely mediocre. I got the seasonal Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict with a salad. There was essentially no dressing on the salad so I was just eating greens. I'm down with minimal dressings, but no dressing isn't my thing. Everything tasted premade. I got the taste of crappy barbacoa, decent but uninspiring hollandaise, and a sauce called "ranchero sauce" which tasted like someone scooped up adobo sauce onto my dish and decided "this is all you will taste." I also don't like their tactics of offering you coffee. I've always hated places that offer you something up front like they're gratis. read more

Always been a fan of first watch having here before and tried many dishes. This time I tried something new had the watermelon wake up and that was super refreshing and delicious just the right amount of watermelon juice, pineapple, a dash of lime juice, and mint; highly recommend. I ordered the blueberry muffin tops and they were tasty, my recommendation is order that to share with someone else because it is a lot of food, nice touch with the granola on top would've wanted a bit of whipped cream to kind of blend all the flavors together. My friend ordered the Barbacoa quesadillas those were pretty tasty but she said that the flavor of the Barbacoa over-powered the eggs Benedict. Not pictured here but I ordered the omelette with bacon and Gruyere cheese and avocado on top it was spectacular kind of put together per Nicole's recommendation highly recommend sitting in her section she was very sweet and knowledgeable. Love first watch for its quick turnout of food and came obviously during the week when it's not super busy otherwise make sure you come put your name down take a walk and come back because wait time is usually about an hour on weekends. Almost forgot my sister ordered Belgian waffles and there wasn't a morsel left on her plate, she loved them. Will be back! read more

I really like going to First Watch whenever I get a chance. This location totally missed the mark. Not a long wait on a late Saturday morning, however, the service left much to be desired. First, our waiter was nice, however, he was so slow. Maybe he had too many tables?! We were able to place our order and everything came out 1 at a time, which is so aggravating. We were a party of 4, so that tells you all you need to know. Once we got ALL of our food, it was really good. Also, we were never offered any water or refills on our drinks. Instead of bringing a new set right back she decided to take another customers order, letting our food get cold before bringing back a new set of silverware. One thing is they turn over tables fairly quickly and we sat in a booth and it really wasn't all the way clean. There was still food under the table and the seats needed to be wiped down some more. I would definitely have your bus boys double check those items. Greeted within two minutes of sitting down at the table. I was there were two other people and we decided to order all different things so we could try them. Everything was pretty good. Okay, I'm not sure how people haven't heard of this location, but I've never liked first watch as much as I do in Miami. First and foremost the service here is phenomenal. always responsive and attentive. I usually visit three to four times per month since the food is so delicious. Everything is cooked so perfectly and always tastes incredible. I often order whatever is on their monthly special menu, but if you're not interested in anything there, I recommend trying the chickichanga since the sauce just transforms it. The French toast with tropical ingredients is great and the lemon ricotta pancakes are flame. The kaletonic is the best beverage to try, and the morning meditation makes you want another. read more

The food takes much longer to come out.. about 40-45 minutes after ordering and it's not like it was jam packed in here. Not sure what the holdup is.
