It's the best first watch I've been to but it's still pretty mediocre breakfast for not cheap

I recently visited First Watch in Pinecrest, and I can confidently say it was my best experience yet! I've typically gone to the Kendall or Doral locations, but Pinecrest truly impressed me. The appetizers came out first and were served hot, which was a delightful surprise. My server, Dargis, was amazing, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my meal. The food came out quickly and, most importantly, HOT! I emphasize the temperature because, in my past experiences at other locations, the food often arrived warm or even cold, at the end Juan the GM came buy and I expressed how amazing this location is and how it exceeded my expectations. read more

I wanted to love this place... but... we had to wait about 45 minutes....to find out it was not that full inside. We sat at the bar/counter and we ordered the Breakfast Tacos and the Chicken Burrito. Both okay...just okay. I ordered a side of grits which arrived barely warm. Just underwhelmed... nothing great. read more

I come here often, but today the service was horrible and they weren't event that busy. Waitress, Amber, took the order for two other tables that were here after us. We had to ask to take our order. Never brought us water, when I did, she only brought two glasses, not the carafe like they normally do and as she did for the other tables. We visited First Watch for breakfast this morning and enjoyed it. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich and said it was flavorful and rich. I ordered the omelette and it was light and veggie-forward which I loved. It's a plus that you can add your name to the waitlist prior to arriving to avoid higher wait times! read more

Feb 1st 2026- sat at counter. Ordered 2 eggs and one pancake. Few people on restaurant. Took 22 minutes to arrive and eggs and pancakes were COLD! I couldn't believe the foid came out cold when there were so few people in the restaurant. I didn't bother even trying to have them replace the fiid- I didn't want to wait another 22 minutes for a pancake. I WALKED OUT! TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT. Terrible service, I will never go back here. Waited forever for a server after I was sat down, another family came in and received the immediate attention and coffee mugs. The server walked right by me twice like I didn't even exist. Poor service like this is the leading reason why multiple businesses fail. read more

We went to the SW 136th St Falls location. Nice looking restaurant. Service took 45 minutes to get food and place not that busy. I ordered the Traditional breakfast. The Home fries were super salty. My wife and I could not eat them in our orders. We then asked waitress to give us something else in place of the home fries. I got a fruit salad which was very good. My wife got an English Muffin, which came not toasted. She did not eat it. The photos of food online look terrific, but it would be a good idea for the chefs to make the food as good as it looks!! The food was burnt and the service was bad and the timing to even get in was 40 minutes then we asked how much longer the host said 25 more minutes after we finally sat down and it took the server a while to get one ice coffee and one sprite (mind you I was in the restroom came back and no drinks at all), the food came out fast but my dish was burnt and the sunny side up eggs were semi raw I could still see the egg white. Just ate half of it , I had to just separated the burnt and raw egg. All in all, I would rather drive 3-4 hours to Orlando to go to first watch than to ever come back to a Miami location. read more

The food was good. Yummy selections. The service was somewhat slow..... understandably because it was packed. My only true complaint is that the water glasses had a strong smell of chlorine. I have a keen sense of smell and I was unable get past the odor. The glasses should be rinsed better. I will be back........ bringing my own water ! read more

I've been here once and had the special pancakes (banana and nuts). They were delicious. I started Keto diet right afterwards so haven't been there again but I intend to. Everything about the place was great. It was a rainy Sunday morning but I was already out so went there. Around 9 am. No wait. Server was good. I also had decaf coffee so wasn't a difficult customer. Pricing is fair. They do have some specials. I do intend to go again. Everything is new of course and restaurant is very clean. It's not your deli type establishment if you want bagels and nova that I'm aware of but they do have a nice menu. Definitely 5 stars read more

This is my second time and the food is amazing and very healthy . I had the eggs Benedict and the first time I had something farm stand (forgot the first part of the name) it had egg, avocado, and potatoes. I also had the pineapple drink that so delicious especially coming into summer and when I say I truly do not like healthy food I do not ,yet I love this place. The service was Amazing today our waiter was John and he went above and beyond. Waitress or waiters are never what they used to be and our family had a great time/ experience. Always visited the Doral First Watch until the Pinecrest location finally opened. As always food, service also great at this new location. Had a delicious frittata rustica, iced coffee, morning meditation, million dollar bacon. Wife had avocado toast. million dollar potatoes. Excellent portions which we couldn't finish so it was take home box time. There's usually a wait at peak times, but if you don't want to wait for a table you can go to the coffee bar where it's first come first serve, same service, it's like breakfast happy hour at the bar lol. Wait time can be a little long due to seating capacity, but it's worth it. The service is second to none and the food is great. There are many choices so look at the menu before you get seated. read more

This was our first time at this location and it was a disappointment. We sat at the bar because it was busy and the wait was crazy. We ordered the biscuit and gravy egg plate and the eggs Benedict. It took forever to get our food and both dishes had cold eggs. The eggs with the biscuit were overdone covered with brown on the bottom and the Benedict eggs were underdone with raw egg. The biscuit was hard, obviously sitting out for a long time. The only part of both dishes that was good was the grits they came with and the coffee. The server at the bar disappeared after we received the dishes and was unattentive. Other first watches we've been to are far better, which is a shame since this is a newer location. We also noticed that other diners that were at tables who came in after we ordered, received better service. Not sure if it was just the bar experience, location experience or just the server we had. This was a one and done place for us. There are far better breakfast places near here. read more
