Was very excited to visit First Watch for brunch, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the experience. I ordered the 'Tri-fecta,' hoping for a delicious meal, but I found it to be underwhelming. Not only was I unimpressed with the taste, but I also left feeling hungry, which was disappointing. Compared to other breakfast spots First Watch fell short in terms of flavor and satisfaction. Even my husband's choice, the chili chorizo omelette, was bland and lacked any memorable taste. I visited on a Sunday after church during our recent cold snap and I was able to sit at the bar even though there were people waiting. I think the wait time otherwise would have been 30 minutes. I ordered a fresh-squeezed blueberry juice blend that was delicious and the steel-cut oatmeal. I wanted coffee but didn't see a price listed on the menu, so I skipped it. The oatmeal was delicious and was served with fresh fruit, nuts and milk, and I think a sprinkle of brown sugar. I would have preferred butter with it and the bartender was busy, so I decided not to request any. The oatmeal came with the muffin of the day (which was blueberry) but I was so full after the bowl of oatmeal that I ended up eating it the next day for breakfast (and it was delicious!). Decided to try out First Watch since they just opened. I sat at the bar hoping to try out some mimosas, but beware... they are still working on obtaining a liquor license. Despite that disappointment, I did notice the restaurant was pretty and it was a nice size but of course since it just opened, it was very crowded. I believe the wait was 1 1/2 hour which I'm not quite sure it's worth the wait at this point. You could tell they still need to iron out some kinks with the day to day stuff. I ordered an apple juice and it came from the kitchen instead of the bar which again that's where I was sitting to avoid the long wait for a table which I thought was strange. After waiting about 10 minutes or so for my juice, another waitress just dropped it off and didn't greet us or say anything. The food is slightly overpriced but it was your typical breakfast food so nothing really stood out to me. I may come back and visit at a later date. The verdict is still out though... read more

Let me start by saying THIS is a brunch spot. Exactly what Madison has been looking for. They did a great job with the seating bc it was packed but we couldn't tell when sitting down. You'll probably make eye contact with someone but you won't hear your neighbor's conversation. Now the food. My party was large so we got a lot of food. I'll list the meals and give a quick overview. Breakfast Tacos - 8/10 could be a little dry if you don't like pico but with some hot sauce they hit the spot. And don't sleep on the black beans either. Chickichanga - 9/10 before I could even ask how the food was, the plate was empty so I take that as good! And that's coming from a picky eater. IYKYK Farmhouse and Market Hash - 9/10 would give the hashes a 10/10 if it came with a sauce but I love hot sauce so I can make do. Potatoes were seasoned very well and all the veggies complimented the potatoes. Chile chorizo omelet - 6/10 underwhelming. Tasty but with Chile chorizo in the name one would expect a little more flavor. 8/10 if it was just a regular omelet. Million dollar Bacon - bacon with mikes hot honey, basically. If you're getting a side of bacon just pay the extra 50cent and get the million dollar. But also not mandatory! Kids pancake and French toast - "This is the best breakfast!" Exact words from my 4 year old. You get what you pay for. 2 kids could split the pancake but not the French toast. The star was the Kale Tonic. We only ordered one bc $6 (yikes) but every straw tasted it. And we instantly knew we wanted more! Splurge and try their juices. Very refreshing! All in all, go check it out. Join the waitlist ahead of time! Order a juice! And enjoy. The proportions are good too but doubt you'll need a Togo box. read more

Bring your patience, the place is busy which is to be expected since they opened not long ago. However I personally believe that acknowledging your customers and just letting them know you'll at least be with them is the best course of attention you can give when overwhelmed. Victoria at the bar lacked this, she looked at me and made eye contact several times as I waited patiently. She then came over and just seemed bothered. Went on to thank a gentleman next to me for his patience all the while ignoring myself and companion. Mind you, we didn't complain, we didn't vocalize anything to her . We sat and talked while we waited for Victoria. I watched her take the order of a couple who were seated after a group of ladies. The ladies were waiting for Victoria .. like everyone was. Again, patience is needed and everyone should have it but acknowledgment is best. My Benedict eggs was broken, the server brought this to my attention and asked if it was ok. If you knew it wasn't OK. Why would you and the person cooking the food bring out a broken eggs Benedict. But I accepted it because I was hungry and did not wanna wait for another. read more

With only being open a little over a week I would say things are surprisingly running smoothly. Sometimes you think new restaurants have to work some kinks out but nope not First Watch. I checked the website before going to see how long the wait was because as a new restaurant I know they are typically crowded. I noticed the current wait was 15-20 minutes estimate. I decided to add my name to the waitlist so that when I got there I just needed to check. After checking in the table was ready within 10 minutes. We ordered and the food came out so quick I was impressed. Our server Jada was sweet and her menu suggestions were perfect. Even though the restaurant was busy it wasn't too loud. It has a very modern feel. We will definitely be making this one of our regular go to spots. read more

First watch failed miserably today. I understand they are a very popular restaurant. But also, they didn't just open last week. Their table seating manamanagement is horrible. We called immediately at getting out of church at 11:00. It's a 25 min drive to the restaurant. We were not seated until 12:40. Not acceptable at all. We had a party of 6. And instead of watching for 2 tables that came open around the same time, they just kept on seating tables of 4 or 2. The food tasty and ambiance was really nice. My favorite things about this place was the service. I came here with my family (6 of us in total). Not only did we enjoy the food but we truly appreciated the service. Cerisa, our server, she was super kind, sweet and efficient. She also had a very calming and warm spirit. Also, special recognition to Audrey, who made us also feel seen and she wasn't even our server. She was super friendly, accommodating and made us want to come back as well. Seating is terrible in this place. Get rid of the half booths! Does anyone actually like sitting in half booths? First Watch has become a weekly spot for us! The staff is always friendly & smiling, the kitchen is efficient & the food is delicious! So far we've tried the French toast, Belgian waffle, breakfast tacos, the chia parfait, & the kale tonic...all so yummy! Their decaf & regular coffee are both delicious. Always hot & I love that they give each table its own carafe so you don't have to wait around for refills. My entire family has worked in food service at one point or another so we can be quite particular but we've never sent our food back & we've never had any issues with service. Today they even let us move in to a booth so I could nurse my baby more privately. 10/10 read more

Amazing food and service. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were probably the best biscuits and gravy I've had at any restaurant. The roasted potatoes are also excellent. All of the servers and workers were extremely friendly and on top of things. The restaurant was very clean with nice decor, wasn't too loud either despite being very busy when we went. I read the recent reviews and wondered whether I should try FIrst Watch. Well, I am glad I did. No doubt there were some problems earlier on, but my wife and I enjoyed an excellent breakfast at First Watch. As we entered, we enjoyed the same pleasant and orderly ambience that other reviewers had mentioned. My wife had the traditional breakfast, with eggs over hard, bacon, crispy potatoes (they weren't really crispy, but they were tasty!), and multigrain bread. The bacon was prepared correctly, slightly crispy and very tasty but not overly fatty or greasy. She was surprised how good the multi-grain bread was, given that a lot of restaurants offer relatively tasteless, boring bread. I had the two pancakes with bananas and granola. They were, indeed, "humongous", like the menu said. And they were tasty with the warm syrup and whipped butter. The service staff paid close attention and always had smiles. IN SUMMARY, service was excellent. Food was quite good. YES, we recommend First Watch and will return. read more

We just ate at First Watch and enjoyed it immensely! everything we had was great. The server, Keith was outstanding with Victoria assisting. It was the "Friends and Family" day and we just wandered in off the street. They were extremely gracious in allowing us to join the brunch/lunch crowd. We tried several things on the menu to include the Kale tonic and the Passion tonic which were both great. The breakfast was superb, really liked the sausage links, and the million dollar bacon. My husband had the chicken pesto bowl and loved it. The ambiance was alive and electric. We can't wait to go back. The GRAND Opening is tomorrow! We had been here before with different party sizes but my party of 3 was not where I was expecting an issue. We were on the list ahead of time and the wait was 30-45 minutes. That's fine, but we kept getting jumped in line and had to wait an hour. After this we went and were seated and had to wait another 12 minutes to get a waitress, they just kept walking by but not stopping. Our menus should have been an indication we were ready to order. After ordering we wait another 45 minutes for our food to come out. We've been here before but never seen it this terribly serviced. We were offered toast for our long wait but we were just wanting food. No apology for the wait until it had already been 40 minutes. So very disappointed, they need to figure out their issue.
