I had a phenomenal first visit for breakfast on Friday, July 3, 2026, and it definitely won't be my last. Absolutely loved the Project Sunrise coffee. It was among the best restaurant coffee I've ever had--so good that I enjoyed two cups with breakfast and took another one to go. I ordered the Tri-Fecta with scrambled eggs, chicken apple sausage, and a multigrain pancake, plus a side of the Million Dollar Potatoes. Everything came out quickly, was served hot, and tasted fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I also loved the bright, open-air atmosphere of the restaurant, which made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend First Watch and look forward to coming back. read more

Service is chaotic. They forgot our appetizer. We were done with our entrees by the time it came out. They forgot the syrup for the waffles and the food would have been ice cold if we had waited for it. The food itself is solid. Well seasoned and cooked right. However that's just part of the equation. They need to figure out their ordering system because it's a hot mess. I heard the servers saying "sorry" many times as things were forgotten. Different servers, they were nice and friendly but so much chaos. Not good. Perhaps I'm spoiled by locations in other states but this one has some catching up to do. Will I return? Of course! The best part about First Watch is you know what you're getting no matter where you go. We came in from out of town and I wanted some juice. Our waiter sat us immediately and was great. Super friendly and met all our needs. This has to be one of the nicest ones we've been to, it looks very new. The food was good, my potatoes a little undercooked, but the rest was great. Always too much food to eat when we go but the prices are decent. My daughter French toast was the best looking part, wish they did a meal with French toast vs just that as the entree. read more

But waiting 40 mins after placing a to go order only to get home and it not be cooked as ordered is motivation for me to write about my experience of ordering take out instead of coming into a crowd and risking getting the flu. The week of so after the winter holidays is always deadly for some folks. I am one of those folks. We ordered on line thinking this would be the easiest way to eat breakfast. The place was jammed. After reminding wait staff, the cashier, that I had ordered on line, I was told 5 mins repeatedly. Finally some listened and 5 mins later I was head out the door. I am so disappointed. I'm a regular at First Watch and honestly I have never ever been let down by them! Firstly - the food the food the food! I usually stick with some type of hash (and always getting seasonal ones). This past week I got the double bacon parmesean hash that was topped with arugula and OMG talk about delicious! And of course I got my usual green juice, the one with kale and I'm never disappointed This was my first time sitting at the bar, which took and little moment for our server to get to us but once she did she was attentive and helpful. Definitely a place worth stopping at. I was blown away by the delicious breakfast I had at First Watch. I am a country girl to the t and very proud to be so in the beginning I was a little standoffish by looking at the online menu because it at first look seemed to be more on the fu fu side of things. But I was blown away by the deliciousness of the food I ordered. I had the farmhouse hash and when it was first served there was a small black condiment bowl with what appeared to be a boatload of ketchup which honestly put me on pause because I was confused as to why there was a side serving of ketchup plus a huge bottle of ketchup on the table. Luckily the waiter must've noticed the look on my face because he explained that it was actually strawberry preserves. Let me just say hands down that the strawberry preserves were so delicious they could bottle that alone and easily make a fortune. As a matter of fact I even told the lady who checked us out that they should sell the strawberry preserves at the counter. I would easily gain all my weight back and then some if they did sell it. Let me move along, the atmosphere was very nice accompanied by a professional and friendly waiter which made the entire experience a pleasant experience. I reviewed a First Watch in Phoenix, so was curious how one, across the country was. My initial comment about getting to one these places early still stands. Luckily, they had space at the bar, so got right in. The chairs were wicker and I am discovering that if there is no cushion, my butt lets me know. Had the eggs Benedict again. With potatoes. The food was great. Again, the coffee had to have more cream and sugar in it so I could drink it. Also, do you guys think about giving a glass of ice with the water? The decor was similar. Price for what I had was ok. I should have taken a picture but was hungry. One thing about the bar, you can talk with strangers. So not bad. All in all, my same small complaints; hard chairs, mediocre coffee, and needing ice for water. But the food and service, very good! read more

We came here for brunch at 10am on a Sunday. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait terribly long for a table. We opted to sit outside since it was nice out. Our waitress seemed a little stressed or nervous, but did a good job, I ordered the BLT Benedict, but my poached eggs were not don't very well & wee more runny that a poached egg should be. I got an order of potatoes so I could also keep the greens. Their iced coffees are delicious! We tried the mint mocha and the salted caramel. Both were fantastic. Most of the food was good, service was hit and miss but I got served moldy bread. The server apologized and brought me a different type of bread. I kind of expected something else to make up for it but no. It took forever to check out. Apparently the tab was still open on a terminal and she kept having to go to different stations and then come back to check and see if it would work. The pancakes are enormous, bacon crispy. Came here on Sunday to meet one of my friends before an event I was visiting for. We sat at the bar in the outside area to avoid a wait and to enjoy the beautiful weather. Our bartender/waitress had a great personality and took our orders quickly. We were pretty simple with our orders being water, a pitcher of sangria, trifecta for my friend and a la carte waffle for me. Everything was enjoyed with an exception of my waffle. Been there twice the 1st time service was great would give a 5. 2nd visit service was about a 2 ,it was Sunday and everyone sat after us was eating as we waited. Food was excellent both times. Ambiance is great. Everything is clean and new. Beautifully decorated. Morgan was our server this morning and she was the only saving grace of this entire experience. She was kind and friendly and explained the menu very well and even took the time to explain the difference between over easy/medium/well done eggs. It was a big discussion, which will come into play later. She took my meal off the ticket after it was wrong (three times). We appreciate everything you did to help us this morning, Morgan. Where do we start with the food... First, the kitchen staff brought us the wrong entrées. Turned out to be the table next to us. They took those back. Second, the kitchen staff finally brought us the correct entrées. However, the eggs in my Market Hash were well done. Like dry. Whites and yellows were overdone. Almost like an omlete. I said the Egg-ucation would come into play... Morgan, my dad, and I had an extensive conversation/educational discussion about the different cooks on eggs. She understood that we wanted our egg whites done and the yellows runny. She came out and immediately took my plate back. Dad's eggs were also incorrect (whites and yellows very runny) but he was hungry and decided not to get them recooked. Third time's the charm, right? I wish. Morgan, again, so graciously brought me another plate. She stayed and watched me cut into the egg... The whites were not done and kind of looked like snot, but the yolks were great. Morgan offered to take it back again. She was obviously just as frustrated as we were. I decided to just bite the bullet and eat it this time. However, upon mixing my plate and taking a few bites I discovered that the rest of the food was burnt. Parts of it were quite literally black and I was unable to identify them. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn't. Morgan offered again to have them make me a new plate, but I told her no thanks. She took my entrée off our ticket. The manager came out to speak to us and apologized. He offered to make me something else, anything else from the menu and let me take it home for free. We told him we appreciated the offer, but we had a prior engagement and had to leave. I wish this was the end of the story, but not 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant, my mother made us stop for an emergency bathroom break. She was nauseated and having abdominal pain and cramping. Draw your own conclusions... I've been to First Watch restaurants in multiple states and I've never had an experience like today. I'm sure it's just because this one is new and everyone is still learning the ropes, but we're gonna give them a good long time before we go back. Again, Morgan you were the best. I've loved First Watch since I found it years ago in Birmingham, so I was super excited for the opening of one here in Huntsville. The interior is sleek and modern brunchy vibes, which fits in with its location and the new-ness of recent businesses coming to the area. I personally think they could've made a much bigger space to accommodate more of a crowd and been successful with the amount of people who like to come, but it's okay as is! They have managed to fit A LOT of tables in that space they have, so it can seem constantly busy and crowded. The food is consistent with other First Watch locations I've been to, and in the few times I'm been to this location, it's been consistent each time for me. It's nothing mind blowing to me anymore, but I am happy that it tastes familiar. We did have an instance once where the avocado they put on my husband's Farmhouse Bowl was so brown and terrible looking- should've never made it to a plate. They were lucky it was going to him, and he's too nice to make a fuss, because someone else would've given them the business about it. Unacceptable. (Not pictured unfortunately, wasn't thinking about it at the time) If you're going on weekends during the true breakfast/earlier brunch times, I'd jump online and get in the virtual line option they have. We've gone as a party of 2 around 12:30 and had no issue being sat immediately. Service is usually fast... I've never had a server that I was over the moon for or that seemed super interested in being there - I don't mean that negatively, per se, but it's just enough to get your food and a refill. I will continue to come here, again, because it's good and familiar to me! I recommend all the items pictured! read more

We had breakfast on a Saturday morning. We joined the waitlist online ahead of time and were immediately seated upon arrival. Host staff was super friendly and greeted us by opening the door when we arrived. The atmosphere was great. The dining area was clean and modern. Our waitress was polite and attended our table well. We ordered the trifecta, chickichanga, grits, and potatoes. Everything tasted fantastic, was hot, and fresh. The coffee and iced coffee were great. Unfortunately the portion of eggs with my trifecta breakfast was disappointing (see photo). I was charged an extra $1.49 for cheese with my eggs, bringing the dish to $14. For such an abysmal portion of eggs, a single pancake, and two slices of bacon, this just wasn't up to par for the price. I know that marketing photos aren't always the same as reality, but even on the First Watch site/app, the egg portion pictured with the trifecta is at least 2-3 times the size of what I actually received. We paid from our table using the QR code on the receipt and our phones. It's worth noting that the payment site defaults to 22% tip with 20% and 25% as additional preset options. In a day and age where tipping culture has gotten out of hand, it's not ideal to default customers to a tip above 20%. read more

We were greeted by a nice hostess who took our name down and told us it would be a 25 min wait. Once we were seated the ambiance was great. Having a cup of coffee with purpose was nice but it was also yummy. I'm not one for plain coffee either! Our drinks came out fast and this Purple Haze drink will be my go to this summer. The pancakes were huge and could definitely be shared. My favorite was the simple biscuit and gravy. You could just tell the ingredients they use in the food are quality. I've always been a big fan of First Watch, and my friends know it's my go-to spot for brunch. Unfortunately, my last three visits to the Cliff Farms location have been very disappointing. On one visit, a dish was served with hair in it. When it was replaced, the new plate looked rushed and unappetizing. It also took over an hour and a half just to get refills, to-go boxes, and even our check. The service felt unprofessional and inattentive. During the next two visits, our plates and glasses came out dirty, with leftover food still on them. On my most recent visit, my bacon was undercooked and smelled old, while the potatoes were burnt to a crisp. Instead of correcting the issue before bringing it out, the server just set it down. I had to request properly cooked bacon, but by then I'd already lost my appetite. I left frustrated, which is sad because I know how good this restaurant can be. I really hope the Cliff Farms location returns to the level of care and quality it had when it first opened--when every dish felt made with love. read more

The restaurant itself is very pretty with a bar table, booths, and outside seating, and there's a blackboard in the far corner inside which features all of the seasonal specials. The food is presented beautifully and tastes wonderful, and their iced mint mocha is better than anything I've gotten from Starbucks. Our server, Erin, was incredibly kind and polite.
