    Yummy breakfast!

Went here for breakfast. We go seated fast and got our drinks pretty quick. At first we needed time to look over the order but the waiter took a long time coming back to get our order. Once the order was taken the food was delicious!

If you enjoy the menus at First Watch, you'll enjoy this location. The area is under a bit of construction so look it up before you go. The building looks a bit outdated from the outside, but the interior is vintage First Watch. We ordered the BLT Benedict and the Chorizo omelette. Both were very good but the potatoes side dish needs a little help. Not hot, kind of chewy. Always good service and value.

Always happy with our experience here! 10:00am on a Saturday we expected it to be busy but we were able to snag a table at their "community table" (where you can sit at any time as long as there's an open seat). We were served quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. She let us know right away that they were pretty busy and there might be a wait for food. We were still in and out in less than an hour and left happy with our meals and very full. Got a few seasonal items that were great and some all time favorites. Everything had great flavor and tasted fresh.

Yeah - think we are done.

As is not really a big fan of this place. In the past, food prep & presentation at the Centerville & Kettering location had been at best subpar. With that said, my husband & kid do eat at the restaurant. They like the waffles. They went today & while at the restaurant saw on menu Cinnamon Spice Churros. I looked at the menu online, and the churros looked really good. Who knows, maybe after 2 1/2 years, the restaurant has changed. Guess you can probably tell by my 2* review, not the case. I guess you could say the churros were hot, powered sugar & the cinnamon spice dust sugar that's supposed to be on top melted away?? The churros weren't cooked all the way thru, or the dough used was previously frozen. Churros didn't hold their shape. You could pull them apart like they were twizzlers.

First Watch is a brunch chain. This location in Beavercreek was very busy. The options on the menu are very extensive. I liked the vibes of this restaurant. It's busy and the right mix between casual and upscale. It seemed clean. You pay at the front of the restaurant. I really thought the service was good too. I ordered the breakfast tacos. You get three of them with some potatoes on the side. I like the tacos and it had good portions of each of the ingredients. It also didn't make the mistake of giving massive unfinishable portions while compromising on quality. There are also lots of drink options, but I did not order them. The restaurant is good value. It's $12 or so for the food. Food came out at a decent speed too. Hot sauce and water were at the table, which I prefer so that I can pour water myself. The one thing I would change would be the potatoes. The potatoes were a little bit greasy, and I feel like they could have been cooked slightly longer. They had a little bit of a bit to them still.

My Frittata Rustica- it's every bit as good as it looks!

We stopped in today for brunch after shopping at Trader Joe's. It's certainly worthy. I had the Frittata Rustica and it was delicious. It had roasted-mushrooms, tomatoes, onions mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. It came with ciabatta toast and a really nice mix of greens. My wife had the eggs Benedict BLTstyle with the house potatoes. Also very yummy! Service was fast and very friendly. It's a great place!

I have been three times. Came once for the opening, I had the burger, my fiancé had a steak dish and we shared the hummus. The burger was good, but frites were dry and my meal was so greasy. My fiancé didn't love the steak. The hummus was good but served with spiced tortilla chips like Doritos. Would have been much better with pita bread or more veggies. The next time I came with a group of girl friends. We shared several small plates, including the corndog shrimp and the pimento cheese. I also got the Chopped salad for my main. Appetizers were very good, salad was just meh. Third time we came for an early dinner. I got the BBQ Bacon Ranch Salad and fiancé got the burger. Salad was not very good, just an odd mix of flavors. Fiancé said burger was good. They changed the fries but he wasn't impressed with these either. The drinks and wine list are excellent. Would love it if the bar stayed open later Thurs- Saturday and offered more small plates and appetizers. I really hope they figure out the menu and execution because it could be such a great restaurant.

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior. Great fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese make this burger oh so good!! Add a basket of perfectly fried HUGE onion rings and a cold beer, there's nothing better!! Top top it off the service was incredible. We had 3 or 4 guys stopping by checking on drinks, napkins, ect... The energy in this bar was comfortable and you felt like you were a "regular" even if you'd never stepped in the door before in your life. Traveling through the area, was looking for a breakfast/brunch spot on our way out of town and first and when 6 people walked in, the entire vibe shifted in the place. We were told that they only do online orders and pick up basically, but we were in a tour a van and did not want to eat eggs on a 90 degree day in a hot van, we asked if we could sit, and they said "no problem." But then it became a problem. The two working here decided to start playing very loud grime/trap music while sat there as they made our food. They increased the volume of every track and even as the orders came out, kept turning up the music. After they said we could eat in the shop, they continually raised the volume on the music to an unbearable point, even clocked the one of the chefs going to the ipad to raise the mix even further, and we all ended up taking to go. I get it. You don't want people in the shop. You don't have bathrooms, theres not a ton of seating, and this is a cool stoner delivery spot. But everyone, including myself, tipped the workers on the orders and just tried to have a quick bite so we thought it wouldn't be a problem to eat and be on our way. It was so obvious that these workers do not want people in their store or for diners to enjoy themselves there. Again, the food was really good, but I didn't want to eat it in a tour van. I know that may be selfish of me, the customer, to want a place to eat something with gravy and eggs, and not in a steamy enclosed vehicle, but wow, it was so obvious that we were not allowed to be in there from the vibe. Not to mention, one of the folks in my party clocked that 2 cops were outside rummaging through the trash - so not a great look on this restaurant or neighborhood. The food was so good it still gets 3 stars from me, but I will be ordering on line for pick up next time.
