Music choice feels like a bit of a mismatch with the vibe, feels like it should be more instrumental. Nice seating options. Should try to integrate with old scratch since it's co-located and offer their pizzas.

Needed to take care of my coffee fix and found this place here on yelp. Very nice, and relaxing type of vibe inside this place. Was greeted promptly when coming in. I kept it very simple and ordered an iced coffee with caramel flavor. Along with a bacon egg and cheese bagel. Definitely fill the spot. Coffee was very good and had the perfect amount of caramel flavor in it that satisfied my thirst. The bagel did his job and filled me up to be ready to start my day. I could definitely see myself sitting here, relaxing if I needed to get some work done while enjoying a good coffee and a snack to accomplish that goal.

The staff was super nice! The food and Drinks both were delicious, the Tokyo fog... man.. so good. Also, I love the atmosphere, cozy and beautiful. Will be coming back for sure!

A must- visit spot in Dayton!!! Midday in Dayton is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was incredible. You can tell this place was created with care and intention. The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with quality in mind. The coffee and drinks were also top-tier. What truly sets Midday apart is the staff and employees. They were incredibly kind, intentional, and genuinely friendly. You don't always find that kind of welcoming presence, and it made all the difference.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast sandwich with potato sticks-remember the classic snack treat, well it's served as a side with breakfast sandwich, also enjoyed hot peppermint tea & catching up with a few friends.

Really nice staff. Limited choices. What we had was very good but also very expensive.

A favorite for brunch, we booked dinner for a Friday night. Phenomenal experience celebrating the holidays with a small group of family and friends. We already loved Table 33 for lunch or brunch, but had never experienced their dinner menu.... Now, it's our favorite Dayton-area restaurant for any meal, snack, or cocktail. (Do not sleep on their wine list though, fabulous assortment and available for retail purchase) Friday night dinner reservations and we were floored with the recent dining room updates - including new dining venues off a hallway, each with its own unique decor (including a unique chandelier in each) and a truly decadent and unexpectedly private environment. Seating for 4 and above in the varying spaces. After dinner, we booked the guaranteed add-on table reservation at the adjacent venue, 'The Dessert Room'. A well-appointed room with a European decor and upbeat music settles you in for a delightful list of desserts, from gelato and macarons to pies and cakes, and a nice coffee, port, wine, or cocktail menu. The service is amazing. The food and cocktails, phenomenally good. The venue? Truly gorgeous. The owner is reinventing another adjacent property next to 'The Dessert Room', currently a mix of a Mexican fare (bowls, burritos) and tequila. Previously a coffee shop, interested to see what it ends up being to tie these venues together.

A friend who knows that I like to find good little restaurants, many off them beaten path, told me about the restaurant at the General Denver Hotel in Wilmington, OH. We decided to take the short drive from Cincinnati to Wilmington to check it out. This is the kind of place I would consider a HIDDEN GEM. I love that the restaurant is located in an old hotel, in small town. We sat in the bar area ( I think there must be a larger room also). Our waitress was terrific. We weren't finished with our original diet Pepsis when she delivered new drinks. Now the food. It was delicious. We ordered Clam Chowder and we each had a Lamb Burger with home made Saratoga Chips. The Lamb Burgers were out of this world. This is a great little getaway so we will be back!

Unfortunately, the experience was not. The waitress was great on checking in with us and providing drinks, receiving our dinners took over an hour and out of 12 dinners, they were either over cooked, under cooked, or cold. On top of that they had someone else other than our waitress try to bring out the meals and had everyone's order mixed up. Beautiful facility however the service does not meet expectations.

There wasn't anything inherently wrong with our meal at Corner Kitchen but it was just mediocre…read more Perhaps part of the reason is that we went early to try out the Happy Hour they were promoting and we were the only people in the restaurant. The decor looked more drab and like a diner than I expected. I assumed it would be more like the other hip, upscale restaurants in the Oregon District. We started with cocktails, an espresso martini and an old fashioned, that were very good...my husband commented that it was one of the best old fashions he's had in a while. We then ordered 3 small plates from their Happy Hour menu to share. The shrimp and grits were tasty but only 2 shrimp, even for a small plate, seems skimpy. The charcuterie was some grilled bread, a very small amount of cheddar cheese and sliced salami, some jam, and "pickled vegetables" which were grated carrots and two slices of jalapeno in a condiment cup. The poutine was just odd. Instead of a beef gravy and cheese curds on top of fries, it was deconstructed: a bowl of gray mushroom gravy with a small pile of fries and fried cheese curds. Overall, it was a decent meal and the server was good, but I wouldn't choose it above any of the other restaurants in the area.
