The biscuit was light and fluffy with the perfect texture and the gravy was creamy with tons of flavor. Ordered coffee and to my surprise saw they offered dairy free creamer, so that made breakfast even better :) Atmosphere was inviting and staff was happy and friendly. To make a long story short, this place doesn't have their sh*t together like the other First Watch locations do. Wait time: 35 mins on a Sunday at 11. Seemed fair at first because that's a popular time for brunch. After our dining experience, I think the service is to blame for the long wait times. Service: waited awhile for a server to show up in the first place. She came, immediately took our orders, brought our drinks, and never came back. We all needed more water and there was not a server around to even flag down to ask for water. We had to wait til our food came out to have someone to ask for more water. To top it all off, we hardly made it halfway through our meals and our server finally reappeared just to give us our checks. Not to ask how our meals were. Not to ask if we needed anything else. Just to basically kick us out while we were still eating. Food: We waited a pretty long time for the food, so I hate to say it, but the food tasted excellent!!! Overall: I'm bummed. Hershey really needed a good brunch place! I was greeted by the people at the register and they suggested I sit at the community table so that I didn't have to wait for a table. I ended up chatting to a lovely lady next to me who insisted everything is delicious. The lunch special seemed like an awesome deal. $7.99 for a pick two: salad, 1/2 sandwich, soup. I had the avocado chop salad and the veggie sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was out of this world! The portion was larger than expected and everything was fresh and delicious. I had a weird interaction at the front. I just wanted to order take out but I got the sense that the people were kind of annoyed or didn't want to be bothered. The wait was long for the food. It took over half an hour. And the food was not spectacular. I got an eggs benedict. The egg was cooked all the way through. Looked like something I could have made at home easily. I can only review the wait time unfortunately. We got there Wednesday at around 11:30 and waited 45 minutes. I finally went in to check how much longer because we were told there was only one table ahead of us for outside seating. After noticing several families being seated outside and waiting 45 minutes I did question the hostess. I was told she wasn't allowed to seat anyone else for another 15 to 20 minutes so I asked her to take our name off the list. What a disappointment! I went to First Watch this morning for breakfast with my mother and daughter. We were so excited to try this! The location is wonderful. Hershey is beautiful. The food was nothing special, we tried eggs Benedict with salmon, pancakes, bacon, and potatoes. and the salmon had a funny smell. The carrot cake pancake was dry, the potatoes seemed boiled. The bacon was fine. The coffee was not hot and they only offered a very cheap creamer. I can go on. The server was rude and we were sat at a table that was not clean. I really enjoyed my breakfast at First Watch. They are a breakfast/lunch only chain and I was excited to see them arrive here in Hershey. Its usually pretty busy in there but luckily they have a list that you can put your name on virtually and pretty much eliminate the need to wait at the restaurant. Very convenient. Even if you do have to wait though, you can enjoy their free coffee or water in the waiting area. You can sit inside or out and the atmosphere is modern and bright. It's a little pricey for breakfast but the food, you can tell, is definitely quality ingredients. I wanted to try the lemon ricotta pancakes but I didn't want a whole order. They were fine with me ordering just one and you can pretty much order one of any pancake. Score! That left me room to try a small plate so I got the biscuit with sausage gravy. That was so delicious and rich. I had the perfect mix of salt and sweet. They also have fresh juices and the coffee is perfect. Although I drink my coffee black I enjoyed seeing the variety of flavored creamers including a non dairy vanilla! My kids loved it too and cleaned their plates clean. We will return. read more

I became a fan of First Watch about a year ago when I visited Pittsburgh. It was awesome! But my 3 experiences visiting the Hershey location have increasingly gotten worse. Today was really bad. My party of four arrived for lunchtime at 1pm. After being seated we waited 10 minutes to be approached by the waitress. She took our order and about 15 or 20 minutes later, 2 entrees out of 4 were delivered. It took another 10+ minutes for the other 2 entrees to be delivered. The manager was the person who delivered the second round of meals and I mentioned that it was unacceptable to deliver meals so far apart. He tried to be caring with his apology. We also mentioned that one of the salads did not have the correct dressing. He left to get the dressing but never returned. About 7 minutes later, a girl showed up, apathetically, with the dressing. The waitress never checked on us to see how the meal was but showed up to deliver the check, which was better than my last visit when I waited....and waited... and waited for the check. She asked how everything was and I said not good. She giggled and I said, I'm serious, do you want to hear about it? With lackluster enthusiasm, she said she was listening. I explained everything to her and also noted that the area around our table was filthy! Lemon wedge on the floor, half a crust under my chair. She left, did not pick the dirt up and sent us on our merry way. So highly disappointed. read more

Not writing this to drag first watch because I've had it and it's been phenomenal, at any location. But today was different. The young gentleman working the front was clearly flustered, but his attitude towards new guests is what turned me and my friends off. He refused to give us his name, on top of just being generally short and creating PA regulations that don't exist. I work in the industry and am fully aware of where you can and can't place a high chair. My friend simply requested a booth but we were rudely told, "no, it's against the pa state fire code to put a high chair at a booth" lol... read more

This is just what Hershey needed, another option for breakfast! The decor is fun and the food is fresh and delicious. I ordered the elevated egg sandwich. It was on a brioche bun with bacon and avocado it was amazing. It came with a side of potatoes which were cooked perfectly. Wonderful menu! I had Lemon Ricotta pancakes and 'million dollar' bacon for mid-morning breakfast. Both were fantastic! The coffee tasted fresh ground and I was left with a sizable serving carafe so I could refill as I was ready. Service was courteous and properly attentive. The checkout experience was a bust. They had the same person who was checking in new patrons also taking payments - at two different but closely situated locations. There was a modest crowd inside making it difficult to navigate, and I waited for about 10 minutes to make payment, and then working to slip by those waiting for seating or to check in. I don't know if they were short staffed, but the entryway design needs attention before the Spring and Summer crowds arrive. Again, the food was delicious and worth a wait, but I hope they fix the mess at the front of the house so the last thing remembered isn't a miserable checkout experience. read more

The place TRIES to be the "KEWL" place for breakfast for millennials what it really is, is a loud, chaotic mess with over priced food and terrible service. After ordering 2 teas and 1 omelet and a quinoa bowl, 45 mins later STILL waiting....the waitress told me 4 times it was "coming right up". The last time I told her...good you eat it give me my check. She whipped off the check and huffed away...I told the two at the checkout that it was beyond ridiculous to wait that long for a simple omelet, she said "We know but our egg station is sooooooooooo small and the management won't do nothing about it"......Says everything about why the place is what it is. Instead of First Watch I would call it "LAST TIME"....horrid place. read more

We visited on Sunday 7-16-23. As always, the food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. We got in line via Yelp, but Yelp (at least from what I could tell) doesn't offer a wait time. When we checked in at the hostess stand, I simply asked the wait time and was given a passive aggressive answer that gave the feeling she was irritated by my question and assumed I was asking because I expected to be seated sooner rather than later. When in fact I was asking because I just didn't know the wait time. I watched her do this to other customers after me. I've been to First Watch plenty to know that you are going to wait for a seat. They are always busy and busy for good reason. But these two ladies at the hostess stand on 7-16-23 were bothered by nearly everyone who walked through the door. I am not sure they understood that all guests waiting could see their facial expressions and eye rolls they gave anyone who asked a question. My advice to First Watch Hershey is to train your front of house on customer service. Such a shame that all the positives were overshadowed. read more

Cute little restaurant near all the entertainment of Hershey. Located a few minutes from Hershey Park it is the perfect spot before hitting up the park. We had a group of 8 of us and they were incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious all around the table - I had the avocado toast which was stacked with flavorful avocado on thick slices of bread and a side of eggs. It held me over in the park for hours without feeling weighed down. Staff was great, place was clean. We will be back next year ! read more

My wife and I had breakfast today and it was not our first time to this restaurant. I ordered the first breakfast item on the menu which was eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. I order my eggs over easy and when they presented my meal one of the two eggs was broken and fried hard, half of my potatoes and sausages were burnt to the point I could not eat them plus half of my one piece toast that was was so small it was like two bites. All this for $10.95! I could have had a better breakfast anywhere in Hershey, except maybe the Hotel or Motor Lodge for a less money. I will not be back! read more

I had the best experience at the Hershey First Watch today. I had finished my meal and was sitting on my hands trying to warm them up while my family finished their food. Nichelle, who wasn't even our server, noticed that I was cold and she brought me over a Hot Hands packet! She had already shaken up the hand warmer in the back so that it was warm when she brought it over to me. I was so grateful! When I thanked her, she was so nice and said she just wanted to make my day better. I was so impressed by Nichelle, she made my day! This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.
