Great environment, friendly staff. Food was great and decor was very aesthetically pleasing.

I was really looking forward to trying out the new location for breakfast and lunch. Great layout and wonderful menu. Food was small portions but very good. Here's why I gave such a low rating: the wait staff was terrible! Our waitress was more interested in petting puppies and talking with her friends than taking care of our table. Two of the four people at our table had to wait an additional 10 mins to get our food because she was too busy playing with a dog. Unbelievable! I will give this location another try but I hope that the management staff step up their game and address these serious issues. read more

Loved loved loved! It was busy for sure but there was no wait! Our waitress was lovely and attentive and very engaging. She recommend The waffles, and I was soo glad that she did! They were amazing along with the home made sausage ! They portions were perfect with a price to match! Couldn't have asked for a better experience ! read more

I go here once a week I love this place! The bacado omelette is amazing. Also milllion doLlar bacon is totally on point!

Wouldn't come back. We were told it was a 15 minute wait, one hour later we're still sitting in the waiting area. We asked what our place in line was and were told we were third after an hour. After watching three others get seated we asked again and were still told third. Food took roughly the same amouunt if time to come out. Water refills came out once during the hour plus wait for food. Food was average tbh but fairly priced. We won't be coming back to this location again. read more

Went with a party of 6 and everything was great. Would highly recommend the cornbread carnitas and the frittatas.

I have been here 3 times & the food & service is amazing! They have a large menu and everything is fresh & delicious. Jamesia was our waitress today and went above and beyond. read more

It is my opinion that even though this place just recently opened, the food was terrible and way overpriced. Avocado was somehow greasy, even the toast wasn't toasted at all and the food was poorly prepared. I felt $50 including tip for 3 people was a complete waste of money for such a poor tasting breakfast. Never again!! There are many other breakfast and lunch options nearby, I suggest going elsewhere and it is my opinion you will be happy that you did. read more

Although the wait is long the food is definitely worth it. The bacon is the best I have eaten. Everything we had was great. My 5 year old cleaned his plate which never happens. Glad this opened up right across the street. read more

Always a good meal and great service, I only wish the location was larger to help with crowds.

The food is great and different at first watch, that's why I love going. Unfortunately, the staff members are not as great. The cashier was pushy and kept rushing me when nobody was behind us and our waitress walked away for ten minutes while we were waiting to take our order. Overall, a great place to grab food. read more

The food is excellent and the service friendly. A great find. We have eaten here at least 6 times. Each time we lived it. Their tomato bisque soup is fantastic and the avocado toast is superb. Definitely a regular go to eatery for us. Did I mention a friendly atmosphere read more

My daughter and I came for breakfast which took a total of 30 min to receive and the food was cold. Our waitress was good but as we were leaving we payed and were about to walk out when a lady with short dark hair stopped us to ask if we needed to check out then we told her we did. She then asked who checked us out. Assuming we were leaving with out paying. Terrible customer service. I won't be back read more

This restuarant is for someone with a more sophisticated pallate. If youre one of those people that loves quality ingredients and amazing recipes with sophisticated taste its for you. For the more picky eaters id stay away only because most of it is unusually delicious. read more

Saturday morning, about 10:40 they were busy, we had about a 20 minute wait, no big deal. From the time we were seated it was 40 minutes before we got our food, my pancakes were cold. I told the server, the waitress and the cashier the wait was unacceptable, they apologized but no attempt to get a manager. I assume they are used to the complaints, daily norm so no action needed. Won't be back. read more

I have ordered the same takeout meal "Chicken Pesto Quinoa Bowl" at least once a week since this place has opened. Today I placed the order via phone, drove all the way from Tryon to Fort Mill while running errands and I stopped to pickup my meal. Upon arriving, I paid for the meal and jumped in the car to rush back to work. Upon opening the bag, I found a cold "Farmhouse Hash" breakfast. I cannot eat onions and hash potatoes without getting sick. I called the restaurant and after speaking to the greeter I was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes waiting to speak to Justin, the manager. The best I could do for a refund was showing up in person which isn't really practical for me since I have to work 6-6 pm every day. I told them I cannot get back to restaurant and now I have something I cannot eat for lunch because of their mistake. I would have thought the manager would have offered to get a food delivery service to send what I order my way, but no such luck. So now I'm stuck here at work with nothing I can eat until 6pm. Thanks Firstwatch! This is the second time this has happened to me, so I would caution everyone to check their takeout bags prior to leaving the store because this location has very poor execution on the takeout end. read more

First visit. I ordered the wrong item. My fault. Manager remade my order with no questions. Manager even held my grandchild while I ate. Very very personable. Food was great. Nice dining atmosphere...Will visit again! read more

Wow. Great food. Really busy but fast check-in on app to get in line. Definitely new great spot.

Amazing food!! Amazing service!!! I was with a group of friends with our children and the manager came and held friends baby so she could eat. Our server was also amazing. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!! read more

Atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is very good. The food is freshly made with quality ingredients. This is not your dad's diner, no greasy fried eggs and bacon with prepackaged hash browns here. I highly recommend. read more

First time at first watch. Ordered the BLTE. The sandwich was a failure. Two hot eggs with limp bacon on mixed greens cause the mix greens to become soggy on the bread and caused the bread to become soggy. Suggestion for cooks: toast the bread or serve the eggs on top of crisp bacon separated from the mixed greens so that the entire sandwich does not become soggy. BLT sandwiches are supposed to be served cold. The combination did not work well. read more

Was very excited to try this place, with a party of 5 we were told it would be 30-45 mins. After over an hour wait we were told the people they were waiting on just got there so it would still be awhile. Disappointed we won't get to try and we won't be back read more

We first watch! I constantly wakeup wanting the avocado toast with the million dollar bacon! The food is so delicious and the service so far has been phenomenal in my experience. They also have really great iced coffee! One of our new favorite spots in mill town. read more

Really good but took a star off as the avocado toast comes with cold avocado on top, wish it was room temperature. Everything else has been spot on. read more

The Super Bowl was SUPER! All of the food looked fresh and delicious. Did not disappoint! Very friendly staff.

This place is so incredibly unorganized. From the moment you walk in and recognize the chaos from all the workers and hosts gathered up front and a line of people trying to pay but then to be bombarded with people coming in to get seated. Just complete utter chaos. My son and I visited on Sunday and were told of a 30 minute wait and put in our name and number which obviously is no use since they take online reservations and bump you down each time an online person walks in. So we went over to Earth Faire to look around and came back in about 35 mins. We waited another 45 to 50 minutes or more to get seated and were actually sat about 1:15 pm. So if that is how you want to run your business, good luck keeping customers! There are too many other good places to eat than to deal with that nonsense! While the food was good, it was overshadowed by such awful customer service and excuses to get seated. Terrible system! You really need to rethick that because it's not fair to customers to be kicked out of line because online people walk in. Shameful First Watch!! read more

The food was very delicious. They were very friendly but a bit chaotic, but to give them credit they did get unexpectedly slammed after a middle school graduation. Our server was informative and polite & food was above expectations. Will be back. read more

Not a bad first trip! Food is pretty decent, our service was great (especially since it was her first day). The only thing is the wait times...staff needs to figure out how to make lines go faster and food to come out quicker. read more

Been here twice, they have an app you can open to get "on-line" and it tells you when to be there to check in. Both times here.i ordered different dishes but eggs over medium just as a test and both times the eggs were perfect. The sausage gravy and biscuits were one.of the best I have had here in South Carolina. Million dollar bacon is a must. Great place and great service. read more

This is my second time coming to first watch and I've been disappointed again. The first time, we waited 45 minutes for our food and it came out cold. We decided to give it a second chance and our food is cold again. Also, I asked for my eggs to be fried medium and they're barely cooked. I also ordered an iced coffee and it tasted like syrup. I said this to our server and they told us the iced coffee here isn't real coffee. Very disappointing read more

First Watch is the most trendy restaurant in Fort Mill SC. The food is absolutely delicious and the hospitality is grand. I highly recommend this cafe. read more

Currently dining at First Watch. This is my second time having brunch at First Watch and my First at their Fort Mill location. Both locations are packed way too heavily given the pandemic we're currently in. There aren't any restrictions on capacity that I've noticed and social distancing is not enforced indoors. Seating is packed tightly and all tables are filled. I have a perfect view of the kitchen where I see masks being worn correctly by some but not all. No gloves and lots of particle spreading conversation happening back in the kitchen, causing me to worry about the safety of the food I'm planning on consuming. Staff is kind and service has been alright. Waited 40+ minutes for what was supposed to be a 20min wait. More so upset about mask wearing not being enforced on staff than anything else. It's disgusting, unsanitary, and unsafe. Please talk to the COLORED HAIR individuals on staff because this is who I'm mainly seeing not wearing masks correctly, but remind all staff of the importance. read more

wonderful blueberry pancake today - their bacon is crisp and thick as well - it's hard to find thick crispy bacon - on point today 100%

I've only been here once before and quite frankly the food wasn't that good but I figured I'd give it another shot because it seems so popular I thought maybe I had an outlier experience - I never even got seated. I'm usually very forgiving but I hate being lied to for a sale. I was told it would be 15 minutes, and my daughter and I say outside for 30 minutes watching others get seated before us including a group of 4 that seemed to be friends with the hostess and were skipped to the front of the wait list. I wouldn't have noticed except the person who was in line before me to get on the wait list was seated, and when I asked why I was still waiting, they showed me there were still 2 people ahead of me. The answer I received was "it'll probably only be 5 more minutes, what's 5 more minutes?" and ultimately that's what they're doing, the wait is only 15-20 minutes is what they told everyone else I watched get on the wait list, and it's like an add-on in a sale "what's an extra 5 minutes? You don't want to waste all that time you waited do you?" Because they know of they said it would be 35 minutes I would have went somewhere else. Clearly I won't be going back and will recommend to everyone I know never to come here. read more

As a first time customer to First Watch I am not impressed. We were greeted and seated immediately and our orders were taken shortly after. So far, so good. That's when things went good to bad quick. 15-20 min go by and no updates on our food and no visit from the waitress. I understand it's busy and it's Sunday morning, no biggie. I'll be patient and wait. This place looks good so I'm sure they're doing there best. 45-50 min go by and still no word on our food. We got the waitress attention and she said that the food was coming right out. Another 15 min go by and still no food and no updates from the waitress. 3 other parties including a party of 8 came in 25 min after we did and they got their food way before we did. I brought it to the attention of the waitress and her response was that they process orders by what you ordered, not when you arrived at the restaurant. I was not happy with that response, definitely not a way to run a restaurant or take care of customers. We got her attention again and she told us that they miss placed our order ticket and they were working on it immediately. At this point it has been over an hour of being seated and placing our order with hardly any updates on our food and no estimated time of when we will be served. I decided that we had waited long enough and I asked to speak to the manager. We even had to wait to talk to him. Once he was available I explained the situation to him and he apologized but didn't really have an excuse as to why we had waited for so long. He offered us a 20% discount off the order and we were still eager to try the food so we sat back down and out food finally arrived! I was extremely disappointed with the food we were served. After waiting so long and hearing all the hype about First watch I was expecting so much more. The food was mediocre at best. The potatoes were undercooked, I barely had any servings of eggs and the overall quality was just sub par. This was definitely not worth over an hour of waiting. I am especially disappointed because my wife, who is currently 38 weeks pregnant, was looking forward to this place and had such high expectations only to be severely let down and dissatisfied. Over all the experience was terrible. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was the first and last time we go to First Watch and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I have had great experiences at Famous Toastary and I will continue to take my business there! read more

Very high expectations till we got seated, where do I begin we waited for 45 min till we got our drinks and this is water we are talking about. And I know what y'all are thinking maybe they were just busy, but no there were pretty dead. Then finally after years of waiting Dorris came and god forbid you get Dorris. She was very rude to me and my fiancé and just threw everything we ordered at us and didn't even check up on us like a good server should. She got my fiancé's order wrong, and could not comprehend that being a vegetarian mean't she could not eat meat. So I ordered the cornbread Carnitas bowl which was really good and the summer blush which was also good, my fiancé ordered a fruit cup some potatoes and biscuits and gravy without the turkey in it. So being that I did let Doris know ahead of time that my fiancé was a vegetarian and that she could not eat meat I'd say our overall experience was a waste of time and I highly encourage first watch to get rid of bad employees. We also overheard a bunch of servers complaining to each other about personal problems and that's not the kind of ambience I want when I eat my breakfast in the morning. read more
