We stopped here last weekend for a Saturday lunch and the football game. Our lunch was delicious! Our server was awesome and the food came out fast and hot. We'll be back next time we're in Rock Hill!

2nd time stopping. No longer football season. Hoping it will be better. But no it wasn't. It was a semi slow St Paddy's Tuesday. We opted to sit at the bar. Sat there for 10mins. Not a single bartenders came by. She finally gave us our drinks. My friend opted for a Guinness and I just ordered a Coke. It took them another 20 mins for them to come back to take our food order. If we have cash, I would've just leave it and leave out. So we stay and ordered food. My 200 burger was mediocre. And my partner food was ok. Come to about $60. As much as he wants to like the place because it's convenient and has great tvs for games. It's not worth it. The ambience is hit or miss. Food is mediocre and both times customer service is more than lacking. And with the prices including tips. It's just not worth it for us to come back to deal with it just because it's convenient.

Consistently good! My long time buddy from EAL days was in town from RDU to see the Rams @ Panthers. He wanted to see the Carolina @ NCSU football game and get something to eat so this was our first choice. We got there about 730p on Sat evening and it was busy but not crowded. We were quickly seated in a roomy booth and greeted by Brittany who was just great, very friendly, professional with a great sense of humor. Loren had the waffle burger which he liked and so big he got a go box. I had the grilled salmon tacos with tater tots. Just excellent flavor with fresh avocado, chili lime sauce, lettuce & tomato all on flour tortilla. Just what we were looking for, a great meal with a view of large HDTV's to watch the Pack smack down the Heels.

I've been to this location two times. There won't be a third. The first time I went (in March 2026) I had the beef tips, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The beef tips were "sour" tasting and the mashed potatoes were room temp and dry in spots. I guess that's why the waitress asked me if I wanted gravy on the mashed potatoes; I declined. It's a shame that the broccoli was the best tasting thing on my plate. Oh, and we had the Korean fried ribs for an app; what wasn't fat, was dried out meat. We went for a second visit for our son's 23rd Bday in April. The queso cheese pretzel dip was DELICIOUS. I ordered the Suite 200 burger, cooked medium/rare. It came out warm and brown all the way through. It had an odd consistency that led me to think that I was eating a 'beyond/vegan' burger. I wasn't going to make the rest of my party wait for a recooked beef burger. But I sure would rather have had a real beef burger. And, oh, can we have our drinks served in a real glass, and not an oversized souvenir plastic cup?!?! I included a photo of the plastic cup compared to a 16 ounce glass. My wife brought the plastic cup home to help her bathe our dog. On a positive note, the service was great both times.

My mom and I had lunch with friends here and although our server was fine, our food was not. My Caesar salad with chicken was not crisp and the chicken pieces were small for the price. Mom didn't taste any pimento in her veggie sandwich and the bread wrap was tough. We will not come here for lunch when we know for a similar cost we could have a delicious lunch at The Fish Market or Salmeri's.

Dilworth Grille at Baxter just opened the day before we went, and it was busy! They managed the crowd well, and we did not have to wait excessively for seating or our food. The food we got was good and the food at other tables looked good too. Lots of tv's through the restaurant, so if you are looking for a place to watch all the games then this would be your place...definitely a nice sports bar vibe.

First Watch was a place I hadn't been to yet so we gave it a try. We arrived around noon but it was barely half full at that time. We were seated quickly but unfortunately we sat there for quite a while before a waitress finally showed up. Seating was good. Lots of half booth/table and chairs. On to the food! We ordered the million dollar bacon to go with our french toast with a berry compote and the biscuits with turkey sausage gravy and eggs. The bacon was amazing! Sweet with a bit of spice to it. My challah bread french toast was good but not as custardy as I'm used to with french toast. The berry compote was great with it. We were given a warm bottle of syrup to use which I love but I wish the bottle was clean before being put in front of me. There was a buttery smug probably from the last users. Mom's eggs and biscuit was great according to her. Food was ten outta ten but the service was slow to non-existent. If it had been a full house I shudder to think how long a wait you may get for service but then again it might have been a fluke. Either way the food was delicious.

PS: I ate the hard cooked eggs the first two visits but three strikes and you're out! PSS: the runner that delivered our breakfast apologized & admitted this happens "all the time"! Sounds like a management problem.

A tower of real onion rings with ranch dipping sauce ($13.75) went over really well. I appreciate that these onions were made in the kitchen, not coming from a package of frozen rings. No, I did not try to get medium prime rib. THAT is a losing proposition, so I settled for a 12 ounce chili crusted ribeye steak ($38.95), with loaded baked potato, mushrooms and onions and a side BLT wedge salad...I was happy. Wife and one of our three neighbors had 7 ounce filet steaks ($38.95 each), one with blue cheese/Composaldo (?) poured over it. The guy neighbor had a 10 ounce Garlic Sirloin ($28.95). Two bottles of a red blend at $39 each helped it all go down. Another great Firebird's experience. Of course, we will return.

Problem here is they brought out our entrees before 2 of the 3 of us had even eaten 1/2 their salad. 3 of us ate steaks which were all cooked fine although none of our meals were what I'd consider to be hot. My loaded baked potato had couch salt on the skin that it was actually inedible. The potato part was fine but I shouldn't have to scrap it out to eat it. The Parmesan mashed that came with 2 of the steaks had way too much Parmesan cheese and they didn't enjoy them. My wife had the Chilean sea bass with shrimp but received the wrong sides but the server did. correct it. The sauce and shrimp were good but the fish itself was very salty (I tried it too and thought the same thing) All in all it was just ok.

It can get quite busy and loud, so it's not the best place for an intimate conversation, and reservations can sometimes be difficult to get. That said, it's absolutely worth it. The menu changes regularly, so I try to visit whenever they announce a new one. Yesterday, we shared several small plates. The bacon-wrapped dates were phenomenal. I almost ordered a second serving before realizing we still had four other dishes coming! The chicken and waffles definitely satisfied my craving--crispy, savory, and full of flavor. The mushroom ravioli was also outstanding. We finished with the stuffed calamari, which reminded me of something my mom used to make when I was younger. It wasn't Asian-inspired like hers, but the concept brought back some wonderful memories. To top it all off, I enjoyed a delicious dessert while feeling pleasantly tipsy from the evening. I'd call that a win!

We settled on this place called Meto Pub which mom kept confusing with Metro dinner. Anyway, it was late afternoon so the place was fairly slow with people cause we were there before dinner time. He was very pleasant as he got us some drinks as we looked over this new to us menu. He also brought out some hushpuppies for free with butter and they were hot and yummy! We both actually chose to try their pulled pork but I got the fries and mom paid a little extra for the rings! While we waited for our food the nice man/owner came over and explained what all the BBQ sauces where on the table and brought over a ketchup bottle that was missing. Our food did not take long at all to arrive. The fries and rings were perfectly deep fried. Our buns were toasted to perfection. The pork tasted good and they heaped a good portion on the rolls. It ate a little dry but a few squirts of the BBQ sauce and it was all good! We also got a side of coleslaw with our meals and that was tasty as well. The place leans heavily into a dive‑bar feel, and it's very clear this is a locals' hangout. Despite the "Grill" in the name, it definitely reads more bar than restaurant. That said, the manager (owner?) was extremely friendly and welcoming, which set a nice tone for the visit. We split a pepperoni pizza, and it was genuinely very good. I can comfortably recommend. Just be aware of the setup: you order and pay for food at a counter, and if you want an alcoholic drink, you have to go to the bar and pay separately. Not a dealbreaker, but a little clunky. The beer selection was decent, though nothing that really stood out. There's indoor seating, outdoor seating, and bar seating, so you've got options depending on the mood. Overall, Crossroads has its charms, especially if you're into a strong neighborhood‑bar atmosphere, but it's not quite a destination spot for dinner night out.
