Ham, bacon and cheese omelet with no sides.

Sometimes what you pay for food does not seem like a good deal. For $11.99 I was expecting more than what I received. While this may not seem like a good deal for Breakfast at least their lunch of an ultimate burger and fries more than makes up for it.

It has been years since I have been here. 2 items. 1st turn off is Faux entertainment is on. 2nd turn off is the food is so greasy. Spelling is not required to work here.

Stopped in here on the way to doing errands for some home-style cooked breakfast. I was extremely pleased. it's not haute cuisine, but it's also far from the chain restaurants and fast food eateries around town. I ordered a Western omelet with hash browns and dry toast and that's what was on my tray when my number was called. Good size, with plenty of cheese and fillings. A big pile of delish food where you can actually sit down for a bit, read the paper and get change back from a $10. I'll be back!

Found a quick little breakfast place near me. Wanted a big breakfast but didn't feel like cooking this am. I purchased the breakfast special for $4.99 which was a great deal with it i had grits, eggs, two turkey sausages, hasbrown, and toast! The emloyees were super nice, i ordered my food to go i don't think its one of those places i would actually sit down and eat in, good thing is i can tell apparently they have alot of regulars that come order breakfast they knew alot of customers by name as they entered. Great deals! Great people! Great customer service!

So I was in the area decided to stop in and have breakfast. I ordered a pancake and two scrambled eggs. First off let me say that my meal came up to 8 dollars and the woman failed to notify me that there was a special for 6 dollars for the same exact thing I ordered ( I over heard another lady telling another customer about the special which was 2 pancakes 2 eggs one meat=6 bucks) like why didn't she offer me that to save a couple bucks but whatever. Poor customer service. Next my eggs were wayyyyy undercooked for scrambled eggs with cheese. How does that happen? The food wasn't that good. Very bland. Needless I won't return.

Went at dinner, they were not busy but they were very attentive. The service was very friendly and fabulous. They have so many side choices. I tried the onion rings (which were outstanding) and the fried squash (which was fresh and fantastic). They had a ton of choices all over the Americana map. I tried the jumbo fried shrimp and they were also very good. I didn't find many health food conscious choices... but to be honest I sort of fell off the wagon once I saw all of the delicious fried goodness they were offering. They may have these choices. Hot food, outstanding service, and an extremely reasonable price. It seemed to me (from Cincinnati) to be one of the few local businesses that were not a chain. Support your local business and give Steele Creek a whirl, you wont be disappointed.

First time here. Ordered my usual of three fried eggs over medium. Also ordered two biscuits and gravy. Wait staff and server was amazing and the food was even better. Out the door for around $9. All around awesome. Going back tomorrow.

Tucked into a retail plaza on Shopton Road, flanked by a dental office and a Goodwill, OneSixty feels like it has been airlifted in from a more polished part of town. The interior is sleek and inviting, with a lounge-like ambiance that sets the tone for elevated dining without the pretense. Mrs. K. and I arrived early, around 6pm, and were greeted with warm, attentive service that never felt rushed or performative. Her shrimp skewers were beautifully grilled and generously portioned, and she graciously let me sample one--delicious, with a subtle char and well-balanced seasoning. My Buffalo wings were meaty, spicy without being overwhelming, and served piping hot, which is exactly how wings should be. What stood out even more was the bartender's easygoing approach to crafting a non-alcoholic cocktail. No raised eyebrows, no shortcuts--just a genuinely pleasant drink that felt as considered as any mixologist's signature. It is a small gesture, but one that speaks volumes about the restaurant's inclusive hospitality. And speaking of small gestures, do not miss the whimsical signage on the restrooms. It is a playful touch that adds personality to a place already brimming with charm. OneSixty might be geographically distant from Charlotte's nightlife hubs like South End or NoDa, but it is carving out its own identity in Steele Creek with style and substance. Whether you are a local looking for a refined night out or a visitor curious about one of Charlotte's quieter corners, this spot is worth the detour. What I found interesting was the additional charge for substituting gin for repo in my drink when neither were top tier premium alcohol. It's one…read moreof those comfort foods I don't eat often because it's so rich--but when I see it on a menu, it absolutely catches my attention. That's exactly what drew me to The Southern Pecan in SouthPark. Here in the South, they call it country fried steak, and I'm happy to report this one did not disappoint. I met a colleague there for lunch, and everything about the experience felt easy from the start. The restaurant is located in Phillips Place, a lovely little shopping area that feels a bit polished and upscale--with shops like Orvis, Tory Burch, and even a Restoration Hardware restaurant nearby. They do offer valet parking, which is a nice touch, though honestly parking is easy enough on your own. We had reservations through OpenTable and were seated on the patio, which was absolutely delightful for this time of year in Charlotte. The weather was perfect, the setting was relaxed, and the service started off warm and welcoming right away. Now, the food. The country fried steak was beautifully cooked--crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy that hit all the nostalgic notes from my Texas upbringing. I paired it with a vegetable side (I believe it was broccoli or corn), and it was a classic Southern plate done right. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails, and to finish, we split a praline bread pudding, which felt like the perfect Southern ending to the meal--sweet, comforting, and indulgent without being overwhelming. The staff was friendly and attentive, and one of the things I continue to appreciate about Charlotte is how easy it is to connect with people. We even chatted with diners at nearby tables, which added to that welcoming, community feel that makes dining out here so enjoyable--especially for someone coming from the Bay Area. Prices felt fair for the quality, the setting, and the portion sizes, and overall the experience left a great impression. Bottom line: If you're craving a solid Southern classic like country fried steak--or just want a relaxed patio lunch in a charming part of SouthPark--The Southern Pecan is definitely worth a visit. And as someone happily eating my way through Charlotte and the Southeast, this stop was another reminder that the journey has been a delicious one.

I've heard rave reviews about this place so Michelle & I went for Sunday Brunch…read more They recommended a reservation so we had one @ 12n. It was already quite busy when we arrived and it's not clear where your parking options are. People are pulling up to the entrance and dropping people off so it gets jammed up and chaotic, of course people are running late so those BIG Yukons and Suburbans are making it a challenge to navigate a small entrance area. You would THINK they would at least have a Valet option of Sat/Sun during Brunch. To park, go BEHIND the restaurant on the street to the left and you'll see some free parking options that are close and walkable. We asked for a table on the patio and were immediately seated. The bar was already buzzing with solo diners enjoying their Mimosas. The patio is NOT that big, a little over crowded and table are very close with not much space in between. There was a LARGE group of 'FUN' ladies right beside us enjoying their MIMOSAS, dropping the 'F' bomb from time to time and making a LOT of noise. What can you do? Nothing but try to make the best of it and just start talking LOUDER like everyone else. The OVERHEAD heaters were way too intense so the Staff was very responsive at our request to turn down the heat. We shared the BBQ Shrimp Starter which was SO good, I highly recommend. I had the Gumbo and Michelle had the beet and goat cheese salad. We both had the Red Fish which comes with smashed potatoes and broccoli. The potatoes were so BLAND, the broccoli had NO seasoning. The Red Fish wasn't that great of a flavor and not very tender, not easy to cut, had to use my knife at times to get a bite. Kinda disappointed, I lived in N Orleans for a couple of years and it was always so good there. The biggest disappointment was the Gumbo. It had all the right ingredients but the ROUX was to strong, dark and heavy. It actually gave me indigestion afterwards. The service was OUTSTANDING. Our Server was Daylean, she was so nice and helpful with the menu and kept our refills coming.

My husband ordered the homemade meatloaf sandwich with coleslaw. We shared a hummus appetizer. Overall, the food was good. My husband really liked his meatloaf sandwich. My classic turkey sandwich was a bit underwhelming for the price. I think $17.99 for an ordinary turkey sandwich is a lot since the cheese wasn't even melted, nor was the bread toasted. My husband's meatloaf sandwich was $19.99 and his sweet tea was $3.99. The hummus appetizer, which was a few mouthfuls for two people to share, was $5.00. Our bill was a whopping $59.00 and some change, including tip. We skipped dessert. I think a little piece of cake was around $15.99. If we choose to return I'd order something else to justify the price. The atmosphere is nice and our server was pleasant. I'd say try it out if you're in the neighborhood.
