Amazing how much stuff they offer on their menu and how GIGANTIC the portions served. I had a shrimp basket ($14.50) which was fried nicely and not overly breaded. The french fries were also nicely done. Had ranch dressing and tried them with my wife's horsey sauce and both were excellent on the shrimp. Their tartar sauce was so-so and did not use much of it. Endless iced tea. Wife had a goofy meal of fried squash ($7), a hot dog! ($4) and potato salad ($4). OK...married for 56 years, so no judgement to voice. Potato salad was quite good and we took much of it home. The fried squash was great. Cut into "rounds" or large "coins" they were a little oily but tasted great. And they stayed hot for a long time! First time at Wing Kung and overall not a bad experience. The service was really good. The server was attentive, made sure we didn't run low on drinks and we were ok. We ordered 15 medium boneless wings and sweet potato fries. The food came out fast so we didn't have to wait long at all. The wings were hot and really tasty. No complaints there. The sweet potato fries were not great. They were cooked inconsistently so some of them were really good and some were barely cooked so next time we will skip those and just do wings. Went to wing king about a week ago. There was three adults and two children under the age of 10 in our party.we got the bill, and asked to have it split. After I paid, I realized that for me and my daughter there was gratuity left on the check when I had given a hefty tip anyway-our server got a $16 tip on a $21 check. I can see adding gratuity for a party of six adults or more but when you have five people, three of which are adults and two are little kids and then the check is split, to leave gratuity on there is beyond me. I worked in the service industry for 10+ years-I always tip good, but this is extremely bad for business. I'm urging patrons to look at your check before you pay. I suppose that was my mistake but also who would think gratuity would be added to a check of one adult and one child? read more

Went here for lunch at this newly opened restaurant that specializes in wings and beer. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff friendly. The menu features bone and boneless wings with a large variety of sauces plus fried pickles, onion rings, sweet potatofries , tots, fish and chips, corn dogs, etc.. One can get sandwiches, salads, and other entrees, a kids' menu, and limited desserts. There is a bar separated from another dining area with tvs in both areas. We ordered fried pickles and garlic parmesan wings. Pickles were yummy, a tad greasy. The wings are good with great parmesan garlic butter sauce with other side sauce. My bf and i come here at least every sunday if not more times throughout the week because it's right down the road and everytime it's amazing. The service is always wonderful, the food is always amazing. The ambiance is your typical sports grill but honestly never too rowdy as they have a whole different seating area from the bar. I LOVE MUSIC BINGO WEDNESDAYS TOO. this one is far superior too the one in fort mill in fact the only time i've ever had a less than desirable experience was when a server from that one had a shift at this one. read more

Asked for not burnt wings, got home they were burnt. All were extremely salty and meat was so dark tasted like yesterday reheated wings. Called the store the manager started arguing with me that's how the wings come, and she packed the order herself. I've ordered before, I know the difference, if they were made how I ordered I wouldn't be calling to complain. Anyway. Awful customer service. She wanted me to drive back to bring the five wings back, really I live in Indian Trail. If she would've just given me a credit for $8 I would've spent another $50 next time. I've tried this establishment 2 times since they've opened. Both times left with expensive disappointment. Not sure what the deal is there, but they can't seem to get it together. The first time I went, my burger was like a hockey puck. I figured I'd try them again tonight because I'm tired of the same around my house and it's been a while since round one. Unfortunately, I was disappointed again. This time I tried wings. First batch were tasty but luke-warm. The lady promptly replaced them. The second batch were hot, but the honey garlic wings were dry, and they forgot our pub chips. By the time we got them, we were ready to leave. To add to the situation, there was so much seasoned salt on the chips, we left half the basket. The lady was very nice about the situation and did attempt to make it right. I thanked her for that. But, bottom line, as expensive as food is, there is little room for mediocrity. They definitely have some work to do. I wish them luck. But, I will not be back. read more

We went to check out the new Wing King in Indian land. Nice place. Big bar area with huge tvs at the bar. Dining area is not connected to bar so that's different. Wing sauce selection is huge here and few different ways they cook their wings. We only tried a few appetizers that were large portions and very good. I did try the fish of the day sandwich but I wasn't satisfied. I was given a Very small grilled piece of fish on large buns. We definitely go back and try the wings and dinner items. Oh The menu is super large with so much to choose from especially being a sports bar so it might be difficult what to order. Great place Wing King ! read more

I don't typically criticize food publicly but I offer my comments to provide feedback to this local establishment.... I ordered teriyaki grilled wings (all flats with a hefty up charge for five) with crinkle fries, and veggies (carrots/celery). The fries were very good and the veggies were VERY fresh and plentiful, that's where the experience turned bad with dry, over-seasoned/salty flats. So over-cooked there was no juicy chicken meat just leathery, salty nothingness. I checked the sign over the door - Wing King? - paid my $25 bill (21+4) and left. Let me re-construct the potential charge again - 5 wings for $8, $3 up charge for all flats, re-grill charge of $2 was avoided with teriyaki grilled...or $13 for five wings - any issues there? The lemonade is just ok - kinda watery...service was good but not crowded. I am a Towne Tavern regular for their Monday wings special...no comparison here - Wing King better improve or so-long to Momma. read more

Maybe it was an off day for this store. We ordered wings and fish and chips. The wings were dry and tough. The fish was so over cooked that it was all char! If I were the chef, I'd be ashamed to serve it to someone. In addition to burning the fish, they burned a bridge with me. read more

Got a to go order of Hot Teriyaki wings. They were supposed to be grilled per the menu but they fried them. They offered to remake them if I drove back. I don't have 20 more min to waste. Like this places layout. It is sectioned off between the bar and restaurant. Allows it to be very family friendly. Wing King Cafe has some of the best wings in the Charlotte area. XXX was lacking for a while, but now it brings the heat. Great spot in Indian Land. Good services, quick food, reasonable prices. read more

Don't want to give any stars to this horrible restaurant!! Worst customer service we have ever received!!! Don't go here with your kids(if you have 4 or more kids)! They will charge a large party fee and won't remove it! We have never been charged this ever!! Being punished for having to many kids. Ridiculous! Also the manager was a complete jerk to me and arguing with me that it's policy and said he would call the cops on me if I didn't pay this fee!!(We paid our bill) This was worst service ever!!
