Food and service always consistent. Our waitstaff person almost got my drink right before I ordered....

I've never had anything bad to eat here. Today was the first time I tried the dessert. Amazing as well! They were super busy for March madness but we had great service. Perfect place to watch games.

DB's Tavern is incredibly accommodating! I thought my order might be complicated, but the waiter made it feel simple and easy. The salmon burger I had was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The bun was warm, lightly buttered, and complemented the flavors beautifully. The onion rings were massive, and dipping them in a teriyaki sauce added a unique touch. The drinks were generously portioned, and even though they were customized, they were packed with flavor. I love that this spot stays open a bit later than most places in South Charlotte--everything else seems to close early! Great food, great people, and as a bonus, the games were free and fun to play after dinner. I'll definitely be back!

Apple Pecan salad with steak added. You have to look hard to find the steak. We never found it.

We generally like DBs but have been disappointed several times. Tonight was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. Sometimes we eat in but on this Saturday night we knew they would be busy by 6:30 (and pretty noisy) so we decided to order some takeout. My wife loves their Apple Pecan Salad with steak added to it though she often gets other dishes as well. I like several things as well but tonight I wanted some chicken tenders with fries and we decided to split an order of their onion rings. They seem to have a problem filling orders for salad with a meat added to it. They have forgotten to add the steak to my wife's order several times. Enough that we should know better and should ask to review the food before we leave with it. They left the steak off again tonight and being extra hungry tonight, she was more disappointed than usual. My chicken tenders and fries were fine except that I had to give my wife half my chicken to make up for her NOT getting her steak. Kinda hard to screw up chicken tenders but they do a good job with them. Cooked properly and still warm and crisp when we got home. Thumbs up. The onion rings...Well, see the attached picture for an idea of what we got. We almost always order their onion rings with their spicy dipping sauce. Usually, we get our fill and there are several leftover. Tonight, we each got 2.5 moderately sized rings and none of the dipping sauce. Usually we each get 3 good sized rings and have 3-4 leftover. And there's usually more than enough dipping sauce. I still like them and generally recommend them but if you are getting your order to go, CHECK THE FOOD before you leave. Make sure you got what you were expecting.

While in the area, it was quite difficult to locate a restaurant that stayed open late. We happened to come across DB Tavern and they did not disappoint. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the kitchen closing, the staff was still very accommodating. We ordered honey teriyaki chicken tenders with sweet potatoes fries and garlic Parmesan and honey sriracha lime wings. The chicken tenders and fries were a 9/10 The garlic Parmesan wings 6/10 The honey sriracha wings 8.5/10 The bartender made our drinks just right. The tavern has plenty of seating, tv and music for entertainment. Great customer service

DB's is a great little neighborhood tavern! We stopped by on a Sunday around lunch time to grab some food. We didn't get drinks this time but I can see how it would be a fun hangout spot later in the evening. They have a full bar and some bar games off to the side like shuffle board and darts. I got the DB's burger and it was not very good, unfortunately. The burger patty was thick, dry, and not seasoned at all. I actually added salt & pepper to the burger which I've never done before. The bun was bready and the unseasoned meat with the flavorless dry bun created a very lack luster bite. Even the ranch lacked a lot of flavor. The pasta salad was tasty and the homemade chips were crunchy. My husband enjoyed the wings. I think if we go back, I'll try a different menu item next time.

This place is but isn't good. But when we were here it really hit the spot. We came here after my friend's wedding looking to keep the good vibes flowing. I wasn't really in a drinking mood, but the greasy bar food was exactly what I was looking for. We got an assortment of appetizers that weren't good, but in a much more real sense they were really good. The staff and service level were pretty standard, and the atmosphere was simultaneously lively but chill. Overall it was a good time!

If you are anything like me and choose a restaurant for the appetizer (and specifically the pretzel) this is the place for you. We got the giant pretzel and it was delicious! It really was huge! There was also a good size queso to go with the pretzel. I got the small nachos for my meal and it looks small, but there is plenty to it! There are a lot of good toppings. There were a few bites that were a little salty, but plenty of food and toppings on all layers, so every bite was tasty! My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. Our waitress was busy and helpful getting us everything we needed! We thought the restaurant was just a little crowded, but there were some large groups there, so I was not sure if they were moved, or if this was the normal arrangement. Definitely a tavern feel when you walk in, fun place to eat!

Fun neighborhood watering hold that has great bites. I met my daughter after her work here. We had a plate of nachos and a small plate of wings. The nachos were decent (too much lettuce, not enough cheese). The wings were great (meaty and hot, plenty of blue cheese). At 3pm on a weekday, the place was quiet but we were well served. I can see this place filling up for trivia or a big Panthers game. Lots of televisions. [Review 18758 overall - 3344 in North Carolina - 2281 of 2022.]

Came in and it was pretty empty other than their regulars, which was about 10-15 people. Sat down and browsed their drink menu. Servers were friendly but we didn't see them very often. Ordered our drinks and an appetizer to start. The appetizer was loaded tots, and I gotta say they were not very loaded. Light on the cheese and the bacon was under everything. Now that doesn't mean they weren't delicious, the tots were crispy and when one did have cheese it was amazing. I ordered the raven burger which on paper should have been amazing, however it was a bit dry and even with the bbq sauce, a bit bland. Onion rings for my side were very good. Wife ordered the Caprese chicken sandwich and was a bit disappointed. The flavor was good but could have used more greens. It came with one single, I'm assuming, basil leaf. This place looked like a great place to catch a game, so many tvs and a great bar. Look to have more chances to improve my thoughts on this place.

Service was weird. They had 3 young men who seemed to be working the host stand. They had 1 waitress taking care of all the tables. I understand that she was probably the only one able to serve drinks but the others could have done food orders, refill waters or bus tables or other things to help. Because she was the only person it took a while to place our orders, get water, get drinks and then get food. There was another young lady that delivered food ( I swear I never saw her until our food came out) Kid enjoyed his pizza a lot. Our pizza rolls were pretty good.

Exactly the type of greasy food you want on a late weekend night. The staff seemed very eager to get rid of everyone significantly before the place closed at 2am, but the food was serviceable and the environment was cool!

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? It sounds like a heart beat and makes it hard to make out conversations. Major shout out to Leigh for taking care of us all night and making it a memorable night. Also big thanks to Odhie for the tickets to the concert. This was definitely a night to remember. Thank you Postinos Staff!

My only gripe was the tightness of the space, which makes intimate conversation a bit challenging and the tables a bit crowded -- especially when you order a variety of plates. But if you can manage to visit on a quiet weeknight, The One will deliver a wonderful tapas meal that will have you planning a return visit before you pick up the check.
