Was able to be seated outside with my dog & welcomed by everyone. They even brought her a bowl of water. The outdoor seating area is small so I wasn't sure they'd allow me on the patio with my pup but they did. Amazing I also had the avocado toast which was OK. The avocado toast was a bit too lemony for me

This is my second time eating at a First Watch but my first time at this location. It is similar to other locations with farm-to-table decorations, open kitchen, and different seating options from tables to booths. We got seated right away on a Sunday morning thanks to being able to join the waitlist via their website prior to arriving the restaurant. Our server was nice and patient as I tried to decide what I wanted to order. We split the lemon ricotta pancakes and then I also ordered the bacado omelet for myself. The omelet ended up being a mistake. The presentation was very underwhelming. I prefer my omelets cooked a bit more well done, and this was not. The bacon inside was undercooked. The saving grace was the side of salsa it came with. Even the side potatoes weren't impressive - too starchy. I have had the potatoes from First Watch before and they left a better impression than these ones. Needless to say, this part of the meal was a disappointment. On the other hand, the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious! The pancakes were nice and fluffy and it was topped with a tasty, tangy lemon curd. I'm glad we ordered this because it made up for the disappointment of the omelet. This experience wouldn't deter me from visiting again, maybe it was just an off day.

Let's start with the juices. With healthy beet juice and ginger I wasn't sure what to expect. But as you can see in the picture, it looks delicious. They have so many wonderful breakfast options but I opted with the Chikichanga. It is topped with a lemon hollandaise sauce which just adds so much flavor for a great dish. The potatoes on the side could have a little more spice. I was given fruit on the side instead of the chicken although I didn't order it. My kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes and the waffle. They waffle could be a little more different. It's essentially like its coming out of a waffle maker. The pumpkin pancakes were sweet and savory and the eggs were super fresh. The service was quick and very friendly. The coffee just keeps coming. The rustic feel was nice.

The food and service were good at these time. HOWEVER..... as in the past if you don't ask for a warm plate for our breakfast to be served on it takes away from our ability to thoroughly enjoy the meal. AGAIN..... very good breakfast. I had the Egg Benedict BLT with Potatoes and Coffee.

Just had to pop on here with an updated review! I love coming here when I am in town. They are only open till 2:30PM, but they have breakfast all day. I LOVE their million dollar bacon (as highlighted in my last review), but yesterday I had their breakfast tacos for the first time. I am a big fan of huevos rancheros, but I actually hadn't tried a breakfast taco before. It was amazing!! The tortillas had a nice crisp to them. The flavors of the chorizo and chicken in the taco added a great depth of flavor. I didn't need to add salt, pepper, or hot sauce, which I normally do. They came with black beans which were fine, but I think I would ask to sub breakfast potatoes next time. If you are looking for a cute and casual spot for breakfast, definitely check out this spot and get the breakfast tacos! You won't regret it :)

-Indoor Dining Review- Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: Free Parking Lot Price: Very reasonable This restaurant is surprisingly good, food is delicious and lots of options for healthy meal, with couple minor issues (due to staff shortage as we were told). They have multiple locations. We visited the Exton location, and will visit again. -Restaurant- Before we even drove to the restaurant, we found online check-in, to minimize waiting outside or inside the restaurant when arriving. I quite like the idea and also very convenient. This restaurant also offers outdoor seating. Once we're inside the restaurant and sat down. For the most part the restaurant looks very modern, casual and clean. -Service- Apart from not knowing what any of our service staff's names are (as they never introduced themselves). They provided overall a good service experience, attentive and offered good recommendations. -Food- Food is surprisingly delicious, well seasoned, with couple minor issues. We ordered: *Kale Tonic Fresh Juice (Very refreshing) *Million Dollar Bacon: (Not quite a million dollar, but still a good $700K) *Chickchanga (Delicious, unfortunately few pieces of the potato on the side were under cooked. *Trailblazer Bowl (Delicious, unfortunately again, few pieces of the sweet potato this time were under cooked) Overall a very good restaurant experience, the food is delicious, fresh and healthy, and drinks are refreshing and healthy. I highly recommend trying if you are in the area and hopefully their staffing issues will be addressed soon.

Good food. Great that you can call ahead for seating. Eggs Benedict delicious. Be careful with the coffee when you order $4.00 a cup.. unlimited..that's hefty...

Health conscious eatery with table service and above average offerings. A little on the pricier side but worth the extra cost. Very clean, modern farmhouse decor. They also have outdoor dining but it was winter and snowing so we didn't see it in it's glory but it looked like a descent patio. Breakfast looked delicious although I had a sandwhich/salad combo for lunch. It was hard to decide on what to order as everything sounded delicious. Saw the pancakes on another diner's table and they were massive. Wish I would have grabbed some for the road. Had some hot cocoa too, although it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. It was a little hard to find and in a building with another restaurant attached, freestanding in a strip mall but facing the main street. Plenty of parking and convenient to other stores and shopping. Would go out of my way to eat here again for sure!

Food was fantastic and service was really good! They were slammed but we got seated within a few minutes and our food came out pretty fast. Our server was attentive and friendly, and we got everything we asked for quick. I had the Farmhouse hash which was really good. It had eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado, onions, tomatoes, and cheese. Good combination, nice textures, and great flavor. Paired it with a side of cheese grits and they were actually nice and cheesy! My wife had the Tri-Athlete again and she really enjoyed it. At this point it's pretty much her go to meal here.

We loved the decorations in the restaurant too, seeing all the local dog portraits on the wall while we were waiting for our table was enjoyable. The food was incredible. We recently moved to Exton and haven't really gotten a chance to spoil ourselves, and White Dog was a great place to do so. We started with the Mushroom Soup, Oysters, and Artisan Cheese Board. All were delicious! One of the things I loved most were the portion sizes. For the price it was only a touch expensive, but for good reason, the entrees were delicious. My girlfriend got the Salmon, I had the Seafood Bucatini, and textures were masterful. The contrast between the tenderness of the shrimp/scallops and the broccoli rabe/parmesean crisps made each bite a truly special experience. At this age and point in history, it takes a bit to phase me, and I will say - I was phased. Without meaning to, I looked her up and down and gave her a stare that must've conveyed, "WTH?" I said my name and that I had a reservation for 3. I was with my mother-in-law who quite clearly has physical disabilities and the hostess asked, "Do you want to wait for the other person in your party?" Um, no, I want to get my elderly and infirm MIL seated. "No, he's parking and will be right in." "Follow me." And she proceeded to take us quite literally to the seating section that was the absolute furthest away from the front door, as my MIL hobbled along behind her. And the place was dead, so there was no need for that lack of sensitivity. Situational awareness, peeps. When we were seated, each of us was given a different menu. One read "Lunch" one read "Brunch" and one read "Dinner'. We flagged someone down and she said, "Oh, I don't know which menu it should be, let me find out." "You've been open for 4 hours and you don't know what menu you're using?" I wondered quietly to myself. Then the waiter arrived, perfectly affable, also in pajamas, and when he left, my MIL asked, "What is going on? What is everyone wearing?" I said, "Pajamas." NOT the nice meal we had in mind for her. The waiter explained it was a tradition because one day, on New Year's Day, the woman who started the restaurant in the 80s had been so drunk she was incapable of adulting and putting on proper clothes to come to work dressed professionally - so to honor her poor life skills and bad choices - all the staff is now forced to wear pajamas on New Year's Day. How nice for the rest of us. I could see that on a day like April Fools or Halloween or "Bring a Drunk Restaurant Owner to Work Day", but not New Year's Day. But hey - whatevs. The least you could do is push this fact out to people so if someone is looking to have a nice meal in a traditional atmosphere to start the new year - they could consent and/or make another choice. Which clearly, we would have. So odd.
