A pleasant and thoroughly surprising breakfast/lunch meal here. My wife and I both ordered the low-carb omelette and my stepdaughter ordered the burger. The burger was large and well prepared at medium. Both of the omelettes were outstanding. They came with three links of bacon and three sausage sausages, each as well as three slices of very nice tomato. In addition, I ordered a side of scrapple, which was perfectly cooked and about a quarter inch of depth. It was Habbersetts - set one of my favorites. Complimented that drink wise with the bottomless iced tea. The quality and portions here are second to none when it comes to my diner experiences. The food was prepared fresh and served hot. The prices may be more than you'd pay at Denny's, but I will tell you that they are very fair for what you get. I'm impressed enough that I intend to go back for dinner at some point. I don't know if they have my favorite, which is chicken croquettes but if they do, that would be the bomb. We'll see how dinner turns out and update this accordingly! read more

I'm an absolute sucker for breakfast. If it's on the menu, there's a good chance that's what I'm ordering. I went with an omelette. It came with hash brown potatoes and toast. They got my order right, and everything came out hot and fresh. Ultimately the omelette seemed a bit over-done, but otherwise pretty tasty. The potatoes were very forgettable. cooked, but not really crispy. An alright vessel for ketchup I suppose. Our server was polite, but did forget a few things. He thankfully ran back to check before putting the order in though. Towards the end of the meal we did wait a little bit longer than expected for our check. We had to flag down a different server. Have not been to Bistro in a while because everything was greasy. Tried it today after several months - how do you mess up breakfast? Toast was burnt and inedible, omelet dry and the service was AWFUL! Had to ask for coffee to be delivered several times even after food was delivered. my husband and I were here on 3/15/26 early dinner something felt different. we ordered our drinks and meals and it's was taken so long I was ready to go. My husband's food was ok not great but I order a hamburger and fries and it's was terrible nothing a mess the whole bread was soaked in oil the burger was over cooked everything was terrible the fries were horrible. I believe I had eaten at Bistro 24 many years ago when I lived in the area. On my recent visit to the region, I had the opportunity to eat breakfast at three different local restaurants. While similar in breakfast fare, I put Bistro 24 at number 1. The food was excellent, home fries offered and accepted. The waitress was both efficient and friendly. This was a really good restaurant. The food was fantastic. Burger cooked correctly at medium with nice char, one of the best burgers I've had. Breakfast sampler was very filling and tasty. Staff is very friendly and refilled coffee often. Light side of the Moon cake is a hit. Prior reviews that gave a low rating are simply wrong. Too bad for them as they promised to not go back. I drove by this restaurant maybe 100 times and this was the first time eating there. It will not be my last. I had the banana walnut pancakes and they were good. No need for syrup as they were tasty in their own. My dining companion has no concept of what is a meal vs. dessert as she has the chocolate waffle with ice cream on top. The waitress was able to get the cook to substitute caramel instead of chocolate sauce. The restaurant was quiet and service was prompt. We love this restaurant. We go every weekend for breakfast. A few a occasions for dinner. Friday night we had dinner, I had the special stuffed pork chops, scalloped potato's. My wife had the chicken and shrimp. they were bot absolutely delicious. So much so, I want to tell everyone! The prices are just right. First visit here, very pleased with the whole experience. Nice friendly greeting when we entered by the manager. Our server was Samantha and she did great, answered all our questions and was very attentive. We tried a few of the breakfast items and they were all good! We were House sitting for the weekend and Bistro 24 American Grille was maybe a 2 minute drive away, so we stopped on in for breakfast. So how was this place? Not bad! Expansive menu with so many flavor combinations that it was almost too hard to choose, but choose I did, so I ordered the following: Two egg combination with scrapple: ($7.49) Short stack of buttermilk pancakes: ($4.99) Breakfast sampler: ($8.49) Coffee X 2: ($1.75 X 2) Coming from Atlanta and the south in general, I was somewhat apprehensive about the size of the pancakes, because in the south the pancakes are the size of the plates they rest on. The pancakes here though were fairly normal size. Light and fluffy, I was happy I ordered these. Short stack comes with 2 pancakes FYI. Two eggs combination comes with your selection of toast and eggs however you want them, as well as hash browns. Wheat toast for me, and scrambled eggs were both ordered and both pretty typical. The hash browns, which were shredded, were nice, crispy and not super greasy. Yay! It was HEAVILY recommended that I try their Philadelphia scrapple. What I found out later is traditionally, scrapple is just a mush up of pork "scraps" not used for anything else after butchering, and combined with cornmeal, a type of flour and shaped in a rectangular fashion, before being pan fried. The scrapple really just tasted like a doughy sausage. I was told it was slightly overcooked but I had no real frame of reference to agree with that. The breakfast sampler comes with sausage links, pancakes, eggs and bacon. I didn't try any of this but I was told it was good. Coffee also was not bad. Customer service here was fairly quick, friendly and they had no problem going over the menu with us. We were seated very quickly and no mix ups to speak of during service. Not a bad place, that Bistro 24. Best flavors in the state? Nah, but it's a solid breakfast spot (and lunch and dinner too) that will serve you well. If you're in Exton, check them out. read more

We have gone there for breakfast a few times. If you don't mind your bacon or sausage pre cooked then heated in a microwave when you order it, then this place is for you, at least that's what it tastes like. There is no flavor to the eggs or the home fries either. Toast is warm bread, coffee is good! read more

OMG! The nicest people in the world work here. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful and kind. They even helped to fix my mom's iPhone lol we are getting the red velvet pancakes which is two chocolate chip red velvet pancake stuff with creamy homemade cheese cake pop with strawberry sauce and whip cream that's $10 and then I'm gonna get to go for my husband the vegetarian Spinach ravioli which looks amazing at the table next to ours and then I'm gonna get my son and Angus beef burger pop with pepper jack cheese bacon barbecue sauce and caramelized onions. It was walking distance from where I was staying in Exton. We came here one rainy morning for breakfast. There's a private parking lot and tons of seating. Our waitress was attentive, we were never looking for her, she appeared when needed. I got the Mexican eggs Benedict. Benedict is my go to whenever I go to brunch. I thought I'd try one of their specialties instead of the regular. I wish I had gone with the classic. I ate it but it just wasn't good. The veggies were soggy and not fresh. The rest of the meal was just unflavored. I wouldn't order it again. But because it was clean and the service was nice, I'm willing to go back and try something different. read more

I had the Jack Daniels Salmon and I was blown away! It had to be the best salmon I've had, and I am a foody!!! I was so impressed I told Kim, one of the managers who has a wonderful personality and is extremely accommodating. Personality plus and a dog lover as well!! My son, granddaughter and their new puppy, Gilbert had brunch on Sunday. Again, everything was wonderful. Let me just say that I have eaten there many times, mostly breakfast and lunch but I cannot wait to have that salmon again. Was so impressed!! I have been told that their crab cakes are wonderful as well. As much as I'd love to try them, I am going later today with a friend and have to have that salmon again. The cheesesteak wrap and fries were delicious. The "French" onion soup used completely different seasonings than normal French onion soup, and substituted bread for fried onions. The fried onions were good but the change in seasonings was not a welcome experience. The soup itself was okay, but if you want French onion soup this is not it. If they wrote in the description that it was a modified French onion or changed the price then I would give them 4 stars, but changing a well known item, not mentioning you modified it, and still charging for what I expect I'm getting is a big no no for me. read more

My favorite all American diner around here. They have a pretty big menu and some good specials. They will also try things that you typically would not find in a diner to varying degrees of success. I recall a blush sauce ravioli special they had once that was actually really good. They do a weekend breakfast buffet which is honestly the best of it's kind with lots of variety. Is it perfect? My favorite diner setting in the area!! I'm often there for breakfast and Julie is always wonderful. I've recommended the strawberry cheesecake on many occasions as I find it's even better than the Cheesecake Factory. I've had it more times than I can count and usually doesn't disappoint BUT in all honesty, the one from this last weekend was mildly burnt. My friend and I had a wonderful late night dinner at Bistro! I ordered a short stack with bacon. She ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes. Both were equally delicious! The pancakes were warm, fresh, and covered in powdered sugar. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We will be back again to try some of the other yummy options! read more
