Not sure how you can serve someone pastrami sandwich when someone orders a 'Corned Beef Special'. It was decent, but not what I ordered

We had breakfast there. I ordered a special, Juevos Rancheros. As we waited, we were served coffee that was weak but OK. Our server was great - capable and professional. But the food was underwhelming. The plate was covered with a layer of shredded lettuce. Hiding underneath all that were three small eggs; a tiny portion of pale, just-barely-cooked hash browns (with none of the crunchiness I would have liked); and a tablespoon of black beans that seemed straight from the can. It was topped off by a sweet sauce like a salad dressing -- an odd choice for huevos rancheros. This meal was not a good value, and it wasn't well prepared. But the service was good. read more

I ordered an Italian Specialty sandwich and what I got did not resemble the description. The prosciutto had no resemblance to Italian prosciutto. It was thick, could not bite into it, and it was not cured/aged. It was not served on ciabatta bread but it on a roll. It did not have basil or olive oil. I barely managed to eat a third of it only because I was hungry. Stopped in for lunch at Nudy's Cafe in Exton, PA! The service was top-notch, thanks to our waitress, Nicky. She was friendly, attentive, and got our food out fast. I had the BBQ Chopped Salad, and was not disappointed. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. read more

The manager was extremely rude and yelling at an employee in the middle of the restaurant making it a very uncomfortable experience. Obviously the employee was new and instead of leading with care the female manager chose to belittle and embarrass the worker. No one deserves to be treated with such little respect, shameful management. read more

Had a good breakfast served by Sierra. She was friendly and checked on us long after we were finished (we were there 2 hours). I had an omelette with veggies and my friend had avocado toast. The entry and dining area were clean and tidy. Very pleasant experience. read more

I love this place! We came her from Reading which is a whole 40 minutes away. The food was good as usual except my hubby said his burger bun was cold and not toasted which threw him off and he didn't enjoy his burger as he really would like. On the other hand I didn't leave even a crumb on my plate. Had eggs, hash brown and sausage. The reason for my *** is observing that NOT ONE SERVER/EMPLOYEE washed their hands the entire time we sat in the restaurant. It is hard to miss because the hand washing station in visible from every angle of the restaurant. They were touching dirty service ware, dirty tabletops, tip money, clean silverware, condiment bottles, bringing plates of food to the table. Touching high chairs, backs of chairs, their faces and their hair. The worst offense is the skinny, redhead in glasses who used a paper towel to wipe something off the floor, balled it up in both hands, threw it in the trash and then immediately went to gather clean silverware. She then used the palm of her hand to wipe something off a table and then wiped her hand on her shirt. The trash can near the hand wash sink was also overflowing with trash. Menu said homefries, but the plate came with hashbrowns. Not sure if homefries are truly on the menu. Had the western omelette. In other cafes, it matched the Denver omelette. I've eaten there before (many years ago). The restaurant is well maintained, staff is friendly and competent. I was puzzled, at first, by the number of people hanging around the front desk/register. But then i observed the manager asking one of the people what he had learned so far. So, the people were new trainees. BTW, kudos to the manager. She was covertly visible, observing the customers and servers. She impressed me by the fact, that initially I was seated but not immediately served. She came over to my table and asked if I wanted a beverage. She immediately brought me a cup of coffee. That's service. didn't take any photos. Did I ding you one star for menu mentioning home fries but not delivering? Yes, customers could be critical sometimes. however, I did notice the lower price of my meal. I live in California now, and the comparable meal would have been $20+ or -. But don't raise prices on my account. read more

We drove over an hour to meet my friend for brunch and try the carrot cake French toast. I saved pics of it in my phone, dreamt about it, told friends about it, and when the day came I couldn't wait for the golden brown battered carrot cake and cream cheese icing. We got seated immediately at 10:30 am on a Saturday and ordered drinks. We decided we'd do the carrot cake French toast for the table and each get something savory as our entree. Our waiter was fantastic so when it was time to order entrees and he crushed my dreams by telling me they were all out of all of their specialty cake French toasts, including carrot, I wasn't as devastated as I thought I'd be. Especially since our waiter recommended the Melba French toast as a suitable replacement. So I ordered the eggs Benedict as my savory entree but I subbed Canadian bacon for pork roll, and so did my friend, while my mom ordered a breakfast sandwich. Everything came out super fast and was really good. Would I travel an hour for the French toast? No. I expected more of a raspberry peach fruit compote, and got more of a yogurt essence. Would I travel an hour for the carrot cake French toast? I guess I'll have to try again some day and find out. If you're traveling in the area, Nudy's has several restaurants. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast. read more

I was out in Exton to do a press check of a printing project and I had some time to kill. So I figured let me eat breakfast. I never eat breakfast anymore. This place was suggested to me by someone who used to frequent the area. Great service. Waitress made sure I had everything I needed and stopped often. It wasn't packed but every other table was filled. Coffee was normal diner coffee. I got two eggs, home fries, toast, and sausage. I always ask for my home fries crispy so the waitress was like "want them deep fried?" I was like whoa his that a choice? Tell you what, they were some of the most perfectly crispy potatoes. We had breakfast here while traveling to Philadelphia for a wedding. It's a very little place located in plaza. The seating process, in a tight entryway, seemed a bit disjointed with people trying to pay their bill while others were trying to get seated.We were hopeful but left underwhelmed..... it was just "ok". Pancakes tasted "like a box mix" and were not cooked through and corn beef hash was "mushy and weird." Our server, Lauryn was delightful and the new manager was empathetic. Your typical run of the mill American Diner with a fun vibe. The cafe was as you would expected from a place like this. The menu was also classic american diner food. We were a party of 4 all vegetarians. Below is what we ordered Vegetable Omlet with Onions, Green Peppers and American Cheese: 7/10 Omlet was fluffy with good amount of veggies. Good portion as well. It was served with Home Fries and Wheat toast both of which i found to be a little cold. Ministrone Soup: 8/10. Good portion, Good taste just as you would expect the taste to be. Veggie Wrap: 8/10. Refreshing, tasty served with chips. Again, as expected nothing out of the box but good enough in terms of taste and quantity. Strawberry Pancakes with Nutella: 8/10 We ordered short stack.It was light, fluffy and got a good size for a short stack. The service was decent. The staff was friendly. The orders were taken and arrived all wrong. Child asked for sausage not bacon with her pancakes and scrambled eggs. They asked 2 or 4? She said 4, thinking it was for the sausage. Before the end of everyones ordering it was realized he was asking about 2 or 4 eggs. She didn't want 2 eggs she was talking about her sausage. She wanted 2 eggs-4 sausage. Instead, 4 slices of bacon arrived instead. My friend asked to substitute for a fruit bowl+$2, instead of hash browns. Instead the hashbrowns were added as a side plate, with the fruit bowl on her plate with the omelet . And she was charged for both. Then, we had 2 orders of Nutella crepes. But instead - a crepe filled with dry ricotta with a tiny drizzle of chocolate syrup over top. No Nutella flavor anywhere or at all. My omelette was good, hashbrowns oily and unseasoned-- but when I asked what kind of toast did they have "any toast you could desire" - ok, sourdough. "Sorry we don't have sourdough". Okayyyy so what do you have?!?! I was also the last in the party to order, so everyone else was surprised they weren't asked what toast preference they wanted and we had to go around again to request each toast preference. We came to Nudy's for Saturday breakfast. We may have been the only ones in the restaurant, so we had our choice of seating. Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive to our needs. The food is delicious and the menu is so large that I had trouble deciding what to order. I ultimately went with a classic omlette and they knocked it out of the park. Granted, it's difficult to screw up breakfast food, but it was quick, delicious, and cheap. The bathroom was also clean enough to pass inspection. This restaurant is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Casual setting, open and bright. Not a lot of seating. They do have bar seating and it has a diner feel but a little more upgraded. We had no wait on a Saturday at noon. Food came out super fast. Portions are huge and the price is great. High quality food compared to a typical diner. Huge menu. Very friendly employees. As a café, Nudy's offers everything from breakfast to brunch to lunch. Personally, I think breakfast is where it shines. The coffee is always hot, fresh and tasty. The omelets are always very good, as are the toast and breakfast meat offerings. This is a place you go after a Saturday morning soccer game or when you have relatives in town. Always consistent, nothing too far out of the box. Most people can find something on the menu to enjoy. The main drawback is that this location can get particularly busy. You may find yourself waiting for a table, especially if you're part of a larger group. The front register can feel congested and maneuvering can get tricky during peak times. Additionally, because its popular, this location tries to accommodate a lot of seating. The result is that the ambience can sometimes feel closer to an IHOP, along with what amounts to a particularly "loud" breakfast setting. read more

Loved this place - second visit was just as good as the first except it was less busy, which was great because I didn't want to sit near the door and they were very accommodating. We had great service, the food was picture perfect in presentation and was just as appealing to the palate! This is gonna be a new favorite place for us! Will be back to try more things off the menu. The inner 11 year old inside me giggles every time I say Nudy's Cafe out loud. The food at Nudy's is no laughing matter though. We paid this cafe a visit for breakfast on one of our last days here, but Nudy's also serves lunch as well. For the visit today, we ordered the following: House omelet ($9.99) Two eggs with home fries, breakfast meat and toast plate ($8.29) I didn't try the two eggs plate (they were poached) but my girlfriend wasn't very excited about the flavors here. For my omelet plate, it came with hash browns. The hashbrowns were a bit greasy and I chose not to finish these. For the omelet I decided to add red peppers to it, which already came with spinach, mushrooms, feta and bacon. I did enjoy the omelet...fresh veggies, nice thick cut veggies and it was very filling. Customer service here wasn't bad, as we were seated pretty quickly and got the bill equally as fast. Parking here at Nudy's is no problem either, as it's a shared lot. Nudy's is a place that I might pay a few visits a month to if I lived close and wanted breakfast or lunch. If you're in town visiting though, you very likely can find more flavorful locations, though there's absolutely nothing wrong with Nudy's. I just think there's better elsewhere. read more

We had the nice waiter who was courteous and quick. A Tuscan burger really hit all of the spots. A perfect burger is not easily found. This was top of the line from the bun to the meat. My SO had a Corned Beef sandwich. My fries were 1/4 inch and real. Wow. Worth every cent! read more

I was here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with two other people. We walked in at about 1:30pm and were immediately seated at a booth right by the door. My immediate reaction while looking though the menu was "WOW" - they have so much variety. From omelettes to sandwiches to salads to wraps, they have something for everyone. I was in the mood for something zesty and flavorful so I chose the California Wrap which comes with chicken, avocado, smoked bacon, some veggies and a guacamole ranch spread - it sounded exactly like what I was looking for. I also liked that I could choose what kind of wrap I wanted (white, wheat, or sun-dried tomato). The wrap was just alright. Unfortunately, not as flavorful as I had expected. The veggies were fresh and crisp, but the chicken was very plain and flavorless. It seemed like the guacamole ranch spread wasn't well spread because every bite tasted different - I could taste it in some, not at all in others. On the plus side, staff was very friendly and the prices were just right. No complaints there. Although Nudy's Café met our needs for the day, I doubt I would return again. I'm sure there's other places in Exton that I would be more content with. read more

I normally go to the Nudy's in West Chester since that's closer to me but I was out in Exton running errands and decided to stop by. I was by myself and asked for a table for one, and they said that if I was willing to sit at the counter I didn't have to wait. I think my entire time inside that building was under 30 minutes - the service was so fast! As soon as I sat down I placed my order--without looking at a menu--because I get the same thing every time: the Melba French Toast. In the last two years they increased the cost of this particular order by 25% but it's still worth it. Honestly they could bump it up another 25% and I'd still get it every time. A very sweet and efficient staff--mostly high school/college women, it looked like. I'm happy to see Nudy's is thriving and I hope it stays that way! read more

Nudy's will always be my favorite breakfast spot. I usually get their pancakes, but I finally decided to try their cinnamon bun french toast and it was so sweet and delicious! Absolutely phenomenal food!!! Came here with a group of five girls and we all were beyond satisfied with our food! I ordered a short stack of cinnamon bun pancakes- and they were incredible!
