I have been here twice. Both times a problem. Today was the last time. Coffee was freezing. Took awhile to get a new pot. The one entree was fine the side of bacon undercooked and cold. The avocado toast with egg was horrible and inedible. Cold to start. The basted eggs were not, they were runny soup and cold to boot. The water from the steam used to baste the eggs was poured onto the plate with the egg making the avocado toast soggy. The side of potatoes was old and cold. The service was great and Hannah did her best but she doesn't cook the food. We won't be back. read more

4/26/25 I was staying with my friend in the area and she was very excited to take me to try First Watch. I understand it's an all natural farm to table restaurant. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is sleek and clean inside. It can get a bit noisy. It would be nice to have some music in the dining room. The host at the counter was very friendly and pleasant. Our table was ready within the quoted amount of time. The restaurant was very busy. They have a lovely menu so it makes it very hard to choose! I had the 1/2 Turkey club with the Cobb salad. My half Cobb had a full hardboiled egg, bacon and generous tangy blue cheese. The club was equally delicious and generous. I was pleased with my selection. The food was delicious and the portions were ample. I typically don't order anything but water to drink but I had heard so much about the Purple Haze drink that I went for it. I wasn't disappointed- not only beautiful to look at but delicious! It was lemonade with pea flower tea and I think lavender. My only observation for improvement would be to watch your guests beverages and offer refills. We had to flag the waiter down a few times for iced tea re-fills. Other than that- I would've awarded 5 stars! If I lived closer I would frequent this restaurant. read more

Driving through on the Turnpike with friends after disembarking from a cruise... Reluctantly we stopped due to being exhausted but decided to look for a place enroute home due to needing COFFEE and protein. We first wanted to wait until we got home to Lancaster county but I found this on a local search. BEST decision! Carissa was our server and we thanked her for being incredibly attentive! Not once did we have to ask for anything! She was resupplying coffee before it was empty! Relaxing, very clean, and loved the ambiance for the morning. Food was wonderful- moderately priced, delicious and the grits were surprisingly great (from a GAL with Southern Roots)... A perfect ending to a wonderful week! read more

The customer service for this chain works well, apparently. I was contacted by the department immediately after leaving the review, the manager at the location got in touch and provided an acceptable resolution within a week. I put us on the waitlist, we arrived there and one of the older women at the checkin stand looked like she accidentally removed me from the list. When we walked in I was at a 5-15 min wait, and when we checked in we were at a 30-40 min wait. What's the point of having an app??? We turned and left...horrible... read more

What a disappointment. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were runny and raw. The potatoes were overcooked on the outside and still raw on the inside. I sent the order back to be remade and when they brought it back, the spinach was not cooked in the bread underneath was not toasted. Once again, the eggs were runny and the hollandaise sauce was extremely lemony. My son's grilled cheese was overcooked. Overall, the food here was not good. I ordered one of their juice bar juice, and it tasted as if it came out of a bottle. Overall terrible food, but the service was good. Our waitress was incredible about all these issues. read more

This is my second time eating at a First Watch but my first time at this location. It is similar to other locations with farm-to-table decorations, open kitchen, and different seating options from tables to booths. We got seated right away on a Sunday morning thanks to being able to join the waitlist via their website prior to arriving the restaurant. Our server was nice and patient as I tried to decide what I wanted to order. We split the lemon ricotta pancakes and then I also ordered the bacado omelet for myself. The omelet ended up being a mistake. The presentation was very underwhelming. I prefer my omelets cooked a bit more well done, and this was not. The bacon inside was undercooked. The saving grace was the side of salsa it came with. Even the side potatoes weren't impressive - too starchy. I have had the potatoes from First Watch before and they left a better impression than these ones. Needless to say, this part of the meal was a disappointment. On the other hand, the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious! The pancakes were nice and fluffy and it was topped with a tasty, tangy lemon curd. I'm glad we ordered this because it made up for the disappointment of the omelet. This experience wouldn't deter me from visiting again, maybe it was just an off day. read more

Just had to pop on here with an updated review! I love coming here when I am in town. They are only open till 2:30PM, but they have breakfast all day. I LOVE their million dollar bacon (as highlighted in my last review), but yesterday I had their breakfast tacos for the first time. I am a big fan of huevos rancheros, but I actually hadn't tried a breakfast taco before. It was amazing!! The tortillas had a nice crisp to them. The flavors of the chorizo and chicken in the taco added a great depth of flavor. I didn't need to add salt, pepper, or hot sauce, which I normally do. They came with black beans which were fine, but I think I would ask to sub breakfast potatoes next time. If you are looking for a cute and casual spot for breakfast, definitely check out this spot and get the breakfast tacos! You won't regret it :) read more

Let's start with the juices. With healthy beet juice and ginger I wasn't sure what to expect. But as you can see in the picture, it looks delicious. They have so many wonderful breakfast options but I opted with the Chikichanga. It is topped with a lemon hollandaise sauce which just adds so much flavor for a great dish. The potatoes on the side could have a little more spice. I was given fruit on the side instead of the chicken although I didn't order it. My kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes and the waffle. They waffle could be a little more different. It's essentially like its coming out of a waffle maker. The pumpkin pancakes were sweet and savory and the eggs were super fresh. They provided overall a good service experience, attentive and offered good recommendations. -Food- Food is surprisingly delicious, well seasoned, with couple minor issues. Health conscious eatery with table service and above average offerings. A little on the pricier side but worth the extra cost. Very clean, modern farmhouse decor. They also have outdoor dining but it was winter and snowing so we didn't see it in it's glory but it looked like a descent patio. Breakfast looked delicious although I had a sandwhich/salad combo for lunch. It was hard to decide on what to order as everything sounded delicious. Saw the pancakes on another diner's table and they were massive. Wish I would have grabbed some for the road. Had some hot cocoa too, although it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. It was a little hard to find and in a building with another restaurant attached, freestanding in a strip mall but facing the main street. It's the food that is the issue here. Our Eggs Benedicts were very subpar. One of us had the Salmon version. There was hardly any salmon to be found and the ciabatta was barely toasted. I went here before the closure due to covid back in December. My friend loves this place due to the variety of gluten free and healthy options. She ordered the veggie burger and the side salad. I was really impressed they even made sure to make sure everything was cooked where it wouldn't be in contact with gluten. I ordered an egg white omelette with toast, fruit and homemade jam. I've been here a number of times and so far have never been disappointed. All of my friends and family who have been here on their own, or have come here with me, have all had great things to say. Service was always prompt and cordial, and each dish/drink has always been very fresh and delicious. First Watch is definitely one of my go-to brunch places. My personal favorites are the avocado toast and chicken pesto quinoa bowl. However their sandwiches and egg benedict's are really delicious too. Keep an eye out on the changing specials. Out of all the juices, I've loved the pink summer blush the most, because I can never say not to watermelon juice. However, the seasonal drinks do change while the staple kale tonic and morning meditation juices remain the same. Really love the trendy vibes here, as it's very relaxing. And I love how convenient it is to join the live waiting list, arrive a few minutes before for check in, and then head inside when the table is ready. Just be aware that the waiting time will be longer on weekends. All in all, I would heartily recommend First Watch to other breakfast/brunch enthusiasts! read more

The elevated egg sandwich, over easy cage-free egg, BACON, gruyere cheese, smashed avocado, mayo and lemon dressed argula on a brioche bun. Seasoned potatoes. Farm Stand Breakfast Taco scrambled eggs, cajun chicken, chorizo, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, Fresh avocado and pico de gallo. I am very disappointed with my experience today after being served a turkey burger rather than a veggie burger. After taking a bite I had questioned the burger however thought they may have changed their patty to a fake meat substitute rather than a veggie patty. I continued to eat the burger under the assumption that it was a meat substitute seeing that I ordered a veggie burger and the server presented it as such I thought I was overreacting with the meaty taste. When receiving the check I was shocked to see it say turkey burger. As someone who has been vegetarian for 10 years I am very disappointed in this oversight. Got the breakfast tacos. Looks to be one egg split across 3 soft taco shells, or at most 1.5. A little bit of cheese some chicken ( weighed it, 1.75 oz) tiny cup of salsa and an imperceptible amount of chorizo but boy a half a can (or more) of black beans!! Wow awesome. I ate it. Been to First Watch twice recently, once for breakfast and once for lunch. I prefer their breakfast foods. I love their coffee, I drink decaf and they bring a carafe of it for you to the table. It's hard to distinguish eggs and toast from one restaurant to another. But, their potatoes are better than many other places and they have the choice from I think four different types of sausage! This is a decent First Watch, but our food had been put together a bit sloppily; I get a feeling the cooks may have been college students (overcooked bacon, overcooked frittata where also the salmon was not cut at all/spread evenly throughout, etc). Overall, the staff were great and friendly. Coming from the Carolinas, my biggest thought was honestly "I ruined my child's taste buds for life". The watermelon drink was delicious but "too sour" for my toddler probably because the South puts a rim of rock sugar like some mojito. Lol, yes, it's horrifying although sadly tasty. My one knock on the place is the host / hostess process upon arrival. They seem to really struggle getting people in, out and seated. The front door / reception area is chronically congested with people due to this issue. It seems like the more simplistic part of the business relatively to all the other things that they manage very well. But overall, the place is a great option. read more
