This is a smaller location in the new Dania Pointe plaza. Our experience started out great. We had a really good waitress. I ordered the Caramel Crunch Cinnamon Roll and my husband ordered the Modern Croque Madame from their Fall menu. Our waitress was really good about checking up on us and letting us know our food would be out soon. Well, another waitress brought my husband's breakfast to him and then told me that they ran out of cinnamon rolls. She asked if I wanted something else and asked if I wanted a menu. I told her yes, but was thinking that I wasn't going to be ordering anything because by the time my food came out, my husband would be done. A manager came to our table to profusely apologize and said that the kitchen staff burned the batch of cinnamon rolls and it would be about 15-20 min before they were done. I declined and told him that my husband would be done eating by then. Our waitress stopped by later to apologize and told us that when she heard that they ran out of the cinnamon rolls, she was upset. Now I'm confused as to whether they "ran out" or burnt the batch. If they did get burned, it would have been nice for someone to notify us at that time rather than waiting until my husband's breakfast came out. His breakfast was a little warm (not hot) as if it was just sitting. As for my husband's breakfast, he said it was ok but wouldn't order it again as he has had better breakfast type sandwiches at other restaurants. Just went to First Watch on Hollywood Blvd & Park Rd, Hollywood, on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. No line no wait and the food and service was very good. Only complaint: cheesy grits were wayyyy too thick, but their 2-egg Omelettes were very good and the perfect size. Coffee was good and hot kept in a carafe on the table. My husband needed to be back at our hotel to present at a conference at 8 AM, and at 7 AM, the doors of this First Watch were opened for us and 3 other groups who were waiting. By 7:45 AM, we were walking out the door with our boxed leftovers, satisfied and ready for the day already having consumed piping-hot, deliciously-generous portions of Morning Market Omelette and Market Hash. The Market Hash that I ordered was smothered in two types of cheese--mozzarella and herbed goat cheese with yummy mushrooms, perfectly seasoned potatoes, sauteed spinach and organic fried eggs on top. This was served with thick artisan whole-grain toast with butter and strawberry jam. Delicious! Our server was friendly and efficient. The only questionable part of my experience was that an older couple carrying a little dog were seated at a table on the other end of the restaurant. Maybe an emotional support animal??? We were staying at the ACC Marriott and miss breakfast. Someone suggested we come to first watch, and it was the best thing we could've done!! The host graded us immediately all of the servers were very pleasant if they looked our way, they smiled and Henry our waiter was excellent!!!!! Service here was kinda slow, although it was a busy morning. Took a while to get seated, and also took a while to get the food. Got the Shortrib Hash, which seemed to be a special at the time. Went here the other day as a spur of the moment. Came to this location because when I yelped, the one closest to where I was had bad reviews. The extra little drive was well worth it! Not only was the food delicious but I wanted to highlight our server, Adriana. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Extremely personable and attentive. This place does get crowded especially on the weekends but it was always worth the wait. Wether it's this location or the one in Hollywood the staff is always quick and happy to help. When the food comes it's always so appetizing I always forget to take a picture. It comes out just the way I like it. The Trifecta is what I always end up getting even when I plan on trying something new. This place gives me a mom and pop pancake house feel and I love it. When you first come in you'll smell coffee, pancakes and bacon. At least that's what I smell when I walk in. On a busy day the place gets loud with all the chatter and bustle of the servers. It's a good place to bring the whole family to. You have to try this place at least once. Now that I'm typing this I want to go out to eat again. I'll update with pictures next time. read more

Went to Fresh Watch with a friend for the first time. My friend is into healthier eating vegetarian meals, etc. while I'm necessarily not... Everything was outstanding that we ordered, starting with their coffee!! He ordered their Steel Cut Oats that came with blueberries, bananas, etc. along with a Belgium waffle served with warm maple syrup. Love First Watch in general. This location--not so much. I ordered a trifecta breakfast and the eggs were severely dry and over cooked, cheese wasn't melted, and the bacon was burnt. I was also charged twice for cheese which I noticed after I left and unfortunately didn't have time to go back. The waffle was good but the edges were really crispy which isn't typical for them. Overall I'll be sticking to the location in Pembroke Pines. read more

Kinda disappointed visit, this place is smaller than the other restaurants I've had visited... it was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience... the place was packed and a bit loud there were luggages everywhere it looks like guests from a near by hotel crash here once they check out. The wait wasn't that long despite being packed. Once we got our table the waiter was friendly and ready to take our order. We ordered rather quickly since we are familiar with the menu. My wife order the Parma and I had the omelette with chorizo... well that was quick... we waited about 20-25 minutes until we got our food unfortunately both of our plates were delivered COLD . My wife requested her eggs scrambled well done and they were not. Again the waiter offered to get them reheated on the "fly" however at this point was about 35 minutes wasted and we had to go pick up our kids... very very disappointed indeed. sunday brunch with family in town. 7 in our party, two were children. seated ordered and one of our party did not get her meal. we were told they brought it to another patron. she never received her food throughout the meal. finally she got her meal in a bag to go. my meal was not as described, it was a brunch taco plate that had less ingredient than described. it has wet scrambled eggs, little avocado and tomato. it did not have chorizo, chicken, salsa, beans. it was bland and I have indigestion tonight. very disappointed by the experience. read more

I remember when First Watch at near Sawgrass opened. It was all the rage and I was super jealous of everyone going there, but alas, no reservations and long wait times kept me away. Oh well. Fast forward to now, and the Dania Pointe location. Although I don't live in the area any longer, I always get a hotel room in my "hood" so First Watch is a welcomed addition. Having some time to kill before a flight out of FLL, grabbing a late breakfast at First Watch made perfect sense. No idea how busy this place gets these days (especially with COVID) but it was easy to get a table, and one outdoors at that, on a Monday around 11am. I will say, I'm knocking one star off for service which seemed to have some issues, our server was missing for long periods of time, and the other servers didn't seem to want to address us when we were actively looking to ask a question. Other downside, only one of the two restrooms was working....which made for some crowding inside with people waiting to use it. That being said, the food was pretty solid. Grits hit the spot, and the Avocado Toast, which I swear is what they are known for (thinking back to my Sawgrass jealousy days) was honestly perfection. read more

The only constructive criticism: I would say because it rained when it stopped, one should have dried the bench out front. This place is great for breakfast. They stated themselves as a daytime cafe which is correct. One day I was looking for some place to have a quick breakfast and IHOP was full of ppl and long lines. Checked on Yelp what's around me and it had great rating with some delicious pictures. Decided to go and when we went there I had the most delicious breakfast that I could eat my own fingers (that's how great it was). I ordered avocado toast together with Million bacon for $5.49 and both of these plates had a great taste and good looking. The "one million bacon" is a must to try. For 2 people we spend $40. After putting our names on the wait list on line we got to the restaurant and only waited about 10-15 minutes before being seated. Nicely sized restaurant with comfortable seating. Server was friendly and attentive. Hubby had the belgian waffle with a side of eggs and breakfast potatoes. I had the chimichanga egg item (can't remember the name) with breakfast potatoes and fruit.
