Crema Gourmet is always a nice experience. Their vibe is chill and very cool cafe feel. They offer a variety of breakfast, lunch and drink options. There are several Crema locations in the South Florida area and this one at Dania Pointe is one of their newest locations. This Crema is slightly hidden at Dania Pointe Shopping Plaza. It's located in the back area next to the Spirit building and Avery Hotel. There is plenty of seating inside and on the patio Crema is an order at the counter and they bring the food to you type of spot. But a bougie version because it can get pricey to eat here pending on what you get. They give you a number to put on your table so they can find you to deliver your food. Jocelyn dropped off our food and she was very friendly and attentive. She asked if we needed anything else and would come back regularly to check on us or clean our dishes. Service was awesome! I got the limited edition iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. It was very delicious! My daughter got the Lox Bagel and her friend got the Banana Chocolate Pancakes. This is the second location I go to and it was just as good as the first! Decent size coffee shop, with different pastries to choose from and excellent coffee. We tried the pumpkin spice iced latte and it was made to perfection. Right amount of pumpkin flavor and not overbearing where you can't taste the coffee. We also tried the cinnamon scone and this was just as good! It was pretty quiet for 4:30 on a Saturday so only two employees were working but the gentleman that attended us was nice and had patience while decided what to order. This location is also open very late! The coffee shop is clean, spacious, nice decor throughout, and has nice chairs, including comfy armchairs. Flew into town and thanks to my amazing friends at Yelp found this adorable gourmet coffee shop, Crema, that I got a yummy breakfast and was able to work from. I ordered the eggs with feta cheese and tomatoes, and it tasted so delicious. It came with a couple slices of toast, strawberry jelly and butter and I ate it as if my mama made it I also ordered the oat milk, Matcha latte and the woman at the that took my order suggested I add vanilla to it and that was an excellent addition. This latte was so fresh and delicious. I wanted to lick the bottom of the cup. The inside and outside is super cute and cozy and comfortable a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy breakfast. That is so delicious or you can actually work from here I did for a few hours that I had time to Kill before my next appointment. I will definitely make this a must stop every time I come to Fort Lauderdale. It's also close to the airport, which is nice if you're coming into town and need a bite to eat that tastes like home. read more

I loveeeeee the open air feel. We went in the late morning on a Sunday. All the doors were open, allowing a nice breeze to pass through. We ordered and sat down where our coffee and entrees came out rather quickly. I tried the open face breakfast sandwich and an iced latte. My husband had a latte as well and the prosciutto sandwich. The portions were great and delicious. My coffee could've been a bit stronger...but it met the mark as far as expectations for a generic latte ;). Went here twice and the first time the AC was not working and the second time a week later still no AC. Which is super unfortunate for South Florida this time of year so I hope that the AC gets fixed soon because it's a great place for a coffee or breakfast. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The place looks very clean as well. Other than the AC the other negative note is that I had ordered a croissant and it was put in the oven to heat it up which dried it out as well as overcooked it. Honestly this is such a cute cafe in Dania pointe ! I was so happy to be able to drink my coffee after doing a bit of shopping , the service was amazing and the food was delicious, the whole vibe honestly is amazing , so calm and peaceful it makes you instantly relaxed , the bathrooms were very clean too which is something I always look out for! I believe they serve all day breakfast so if you're a breakfast person you'll definitely love it! The only thing I would say they could improve is the hours they are open , maybe if they could open until a bit later it would be even more fantastic! read more

This place gets little love on Yelp (it does fine on G Maps, presenting an interesting contrast...). This surprises me, but I guess it depends on what you're looking for. For me, Crema is a coffee shop - a place to get caffeinated while catching up on reading or work - and for that purpose, this one is at least as good as the other Crema locations around town and competitors. The ambiance is very comfortable, clean, and bright, the service is professional and friendly, and the espresso beverages are good. I've eaten here as well, and while the food was okay, it wasn't great and certainly didn't justify the somewhat higher prices than you'd find elsewhere for similar fare around town. On that note, beverages are also a little pricy - for instance, a 12-oz Americano will run you around $5.50 with tax and the mandatory service charge, which is over a dollar more than at the Starbucks nearby. Pricing keeps this from being a 5* review, but otherwise, this is a decent establishment and worth checking out. read more

The Best Peppermint Mocha I've Ever Had! I've tried peppermint mochas from all the big chain coffee spots, and nothing even comes close to this one. The balance was PERFECT -- the coffee flavor was rich, the peppermint wasn't overpowering, and the sweetness was spot on. Every sip tasted cozy and smooth without being too sugary. Very demure location. Located at the base of the AV Marriott hotel, kind of away from the main Dania Pointe restaurants and shopping area but it's not a far walk at all to get there. But we got a bit lost looking for it at first. Great service that is very kind and attentive, even after you sit down to have your coffee or meal. Instagram type worthy walls to let your camera eat along with you. Really cool doors and clean bathrooms. There's an indoor and outdoor space. Going early, you'll have shade from the hotel so you can enjoy outdoor with nearby palm trees and good music coming from nearby speakers. Food: we were recommended to check out the Pancakes Breakfast and the Feta Cheese and Tomato Scrambled eggs. Pancakes are comparable to Bake Shack, thick, fluffy in inside and nice crispy crunch on outside. Good eggs and bacon to accompany it. It was big enough for me to share with my little one as well since pancakes are a good portion size. For the Feta/Tomato scrambled eggs- they were pretty good, light and fluffy as well. It came with multi grain bread baguette pieces with butter/jam and it complemented nicely. Drinks: Red, White, and Blue smoothie- which is coconut water, blueberry, and strawberry smoothie, it went down nicely with my meal and refreshing as well. I went up to the register and we were looking for a quick breakfast, we ordered a double shot cappuccino, latte, a breakfast sandwich and salmon bagel. The cashier seemed to struggle to understand me and I had to repeat my order several times. Oddly the total came up to exactly $50 which didn't make sense to me, and I asked for the itemized recipient. Upon inspection, I realized they auto added a 15% service charge which feels disingenuous. They never mentioned it even when I inquired about the total seeming off. Also $50 for 4 items!? We sat down and we received our order within 10mins. The presentation was lackluster for the price. The 15$ breakfast sandwich had 1 pieces of bacon, flavorless eggs and barely melted cheese. The bread tasted under cooked and overly doughy. My husband commented that there was barely any cream cheese on his bagel and it also wasn't properly toasted. Overall the food was tasteless. The coffee was okay but pricey for the quality. I would not return again. I'd rather go to a Starbucks if I wanted mid quality for a lesser price. On our second visit, it was a little bit slow to even get a basic item like banana bread, but it was more than made up for by the absolutely superb power drinks. The atmosphere of Crema is nice, it's open and they have some outside seating to enjoy if the weather is nice. In my opinion it is overpriced for a place that you walk up, order, take a number, and sit down. They add 15% service charge to all orders. Today we had one mocha Carmel latte ($8.25) and two breakfast sandwiches (12.99 each). The bill was $43 for those 3 items with their added service charge. We removed the lettuce and tomato from both sandwiches and one was made correctly and the other came out with lettuce and tomato. When the young lady brought the sandwiches out she was unable to understand me that the sandwich was made incorrectly despite me showing her my recipe which was rang up correctly due to a langue barrier. I had to bring my sandwich and receipt to the kitchen window and explain. It was remade and was fine but definitely wasn't very good. Way too much aioli, I had to scrape a lot off as I did not want to ask them to remake for a third time. The best part of the sandwich was the bread, it was soft and did taste fresh. The sandwich comes as is, no sides- sides are extra. I did feel like the sandwich was a decent size however. Latte was just okay, have had much better especially for the price.
