We have been to FW on a number of occasions and enjoy the food very much. Today was EXTREMELY disappointing though. We used the app to Get in Line and it said the wait was 15-20 minutes, we arrived at the restaurant about 5 minutes later and checked in and were told we were #6 on the list and it would be about 10-15 minutes and to please wait in our car and they would text us. We went back in after waiting about 25 minutes and a new hostess was at the counter. She told us that us that we were #9 on the list and it would be 45 mins to an hour and that couldn't seat us because even though a number of the names she now has on the list hadn't even checked in they might at any minute. We have had the runaround at the Coppell location before just not to the extent of 15-20 min wait and #6 in line to #9 on this list after already waiting 25 minutes and another 45-1hr wait. I love this place! We just have an awesome brunch with family. The menu offers a variety of wholesome traditional and modern plates packed with flavors . There is something for all tastes, from the sweets lover to the healthy freak. Yet, the coffee experience can be improved. Today, on top of my decaf and oat milk (substitute for almond not available) I had to ask for hot water and an extra mug to hold the container with oat milk inside of the hot water to warm it up. Pouring cold milk to hot coffee ruins the flavor of the coffee. Baristas bring the milk to the temperature of the coffee not only enhancing the flavor of the milk, but keeping the temperature. Stumbled upon them for friend & family soft open ingredients by accident! The staff was super friendly and let me & another come in and grab breakfast on a Saturday. Food was delicious. Our server got everything correct AND it came out quickly. The place was super cute inside and I was excited to try it! We were greeted and sat. All was good. Waitress brought us coffee and took our order shortly after. 30 minutes passed and still no food. We watched another table (who was seated a good 15 min after we sat) get their food. The waitress never once came and said sorry for the wait, etc. I finally asked and she said it will be another 15 min. So, 45 minutes later, our food was finally delivered. Cold. The potatoes on my dad's plate were hard, not cooked enough. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen... not enough cooks? Not well trained cooks? February service was excellent: attentive, quickly intuitive and thoughtful. Management obviously put great effort into securing and training those servers. My guest had mobility issues and he was treated not only as a king upon arriving (I was early for pre-prep for him), but as a regular guy, which was even more important to both of us. Reason enough to give this "almost worth the cost" establishment a try. Ambience is nothing special. Didn't feel like a lot of "let's wow them" thought was put into it. Our table wasn't balanced and rocked. Earth tone bland decor, which is fine, but tired. The food is sadly nothing exceptional, however, to my admittedly pagan tastes. WITH the HUGE exception of the piping hot donut holes with warmed chocolate syrup "appetizer." A couple of orders of those with their very good coffee and you'll be letting people in front of you in traffic. I found their frittata way too flat, far more like a crepe (I'm used to a more quiche-like height, more on that in a moment) and very mediocre -- I expected far more given its price and description. The accompanying salad option is laughable. Tasted and appeared to be locally curated weeds with some squirted lemon juice. An entree that would be a natural for this restaurant is indeed quiche -- several kinds. Hopefully added post haste; so I'd be tempted to come back to check it out. My last experience was in February and we decided not to return. Way too expensive for the quality offered, IMHO. One last insight: you can't pay your check at your table via your server. You must stand in line at the front door intake register. Makes you feel like you're paying restaurant retail for a fast-food order. Ridiculous given the higher than local average prices and otherwise excellent service that we enjoyed. Get on their email list and you will get occasional "specials," but frankly, at this point, I'm not that tempted. However, again, kudos, to the exceptional wait staff in February. Would love to come back with more reasonable pricing, and better food. And a server who can take a credit card. Bon appetit! read more

We ordered Mexican elote street corn hash plate, barbacoa breakfast tacos plate with a side of potatoes, cheese grits and banana Foster French toast. Food was amazingly tasty. I didn't even had to use salt or pepper or any sauce in my elote Mexican street corn plate. Banana French toast was outstanding. Was very flavorful & tasty with caramel sauce, custard, cinnamon sugar & topped with fresh cut banana slices & pecans. They used fresh & quality ingredients and served hot. The drinks were super refreshing. Place was packed with people. Especially anyone planning to go on a weekend for brunch, make sure you check in online through their page and reserve a table ahead. People were understanding of the wait time, except one lady who was very rude to the staff to some misunderstanding with her order & she threw straws at the counter and left !!! Oh well!!! Ordered my food through door dash. The food took forever. I had to call the restaurant and ask where my order was. Was on hold for about 15 min. They said it's still being worked on. My dasher was already there waiting. Then I called back and she said it's ready. But apparently my door dasher left, so my order was sitting there. I never got it. My dasher never told me she left. No other dasher went to get it. So not sure why it took so long since they weren't busy. I was staying at the hotel right beside it so I could see out the window.
