First Watch has great food and the servers are always pleasant, but it takes a while to get your order. It's normally busy on the weekends and you could be waiting 45 minutes or longer before your food makes it to your table. However, I've never had a complaint about the food. It's usually work the wait. read more

First Watch - The Traditional Breakfast (two eggs in any style, choice of bacon or pork sausage, with skillet potatoes and buttered toast. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Coppell, Texas

I had a party of 6 waiting over an hour and a half for our table when the hostess only said 30 minutes. Not to mention the repetitive answer every time I went in to ask how much longer " Just 10 more minutes". read more

This place is so good. Not your typical breakfast / lunch restaurant. The menu is so good that you'll have a hard time deciding what to get. My personal favorite: avocado toast and chorizo eggs. read more

Love this place for breakfast. My favorite is the works. Funny first time i got this with the salad. I was like what? Salad with my breakfast omelette, it was great. Food is good and also cooked clean. No greasy grill food. Love the breakfast potatoes. THe toaste and jam is great. Service is always great. People are really nice. I first found this chain in orlando fl. Was happy to see when they started to pop up in tx. I say chain but it feels like a nice ma and pop place. Menu has lots of healthy choices. Make sure to try one of their fresh mixed juices. read more

Waitress was really nice. Food was pretty good. I only had oatmeal but I like the banana strawberry combo they added. I would probably go again. read more

Great lunch or breakfast spot. Very fresh ingredients. The egg Benedict is tasty and delicious. My friend had a salad that was extremely good read more

It was okay at best. Food took long. The waitress forgot we were there. 2/5 would not recommend.

Great breakfast with many options. A lot of healthy choices. The staff is wonderful.

Rude "Hostess" who tersely made me take a mask after I had already sat down. Slow service; the waiting staff was lazy. Would jot recommend.

February service was excellent: attentive, quickly intuitive and thoughtful. Management obviously put great effort into securing and training those servers. My guest had mobility issues and he was treated not only as a king upon arriving (I was early for pre-prep for him), but as a regular guy, which was even more important to both of us. Reason enough to give this "almost worth the cost" establishment a try. Ambience is nothing special. Didn't feel like a lot of "let's wow them" thought was put into it. Our table wasn't balanced and rocked. Earth tone bland decor, which is fine, but tired. The food is sadly nothing exceptional, however, to my admittedly pagan tastes. WITH the HUGE exception of the piping hot donut holes with warmed chocolate syrup "appetizer." A couple of orders of those with their very good coffee and you'll be letting people in front of you in traffic. I found their frittata way too flat, far more like a crepe (I'm used to a more quiche-like height, more on that in a moment) and very mediocre -- I expected far more given its price and description. The accompanying salad option is laughable. Tasted and appeared to be locally curated weeds with some squirted lemon juice. An entree that would be a natural for this restaurant is indeed quiche -- several kinds. Hopefully added post haste; so I'd be tempted to come back to check it out. My last experience was in February and we decided not to return. Way too expensive for the quality offered, IMHO. One last insight: you can't pay your check at your table via your server. You must stand in line at the front door intake register. Makes you feel like you're paying restaurant retail for a fast-food order. Ridiculous given the higher than local average prices and otherwise excellent service that we enjoyed. Get on their email list and you will get occasional "specials," but frankly, at this point, I'm not that tempted. However, again, kudos, to the exceptional wait staff in February. Would love to come back with more reasonable pricing, and better food. And a server who can take a credit card. Bon appetit! read more

Absolutely great experience. We came there about a year ago the food was bad, waffle cold turkey sausage undercooked, potatoes undercooked, guess they were working the kinks out, being a newer location. We vowed to never go there again. I didn't leave a bad review, per normal because I know First a watch is a great place, and for whatever reason this location was having a bad run. FYI:We live very close to this location. Yet the last year we've driven to Euless about a dozen times to that location, such an inconvenience. We were passing by on Monday and decided to give it another go. Omg it was amazing. My waffle was perfect. Sausage, biscuits, everything. My husband always gets the same thing out Arianna expressed so much excitement about the brioche French toast so he tried it, omg it was amazing. I had food envy for a moment until I bit into my own food. My husband ended up ordering another French toast it was that good. My 2 year old liked the French toast and potatoes. Arianna was amazing, her suggestions amazing, food amazing. I'm relieved cause I'd surely rather drive down the street for breakfast instead of like 15 minutes out the way. I don't see a need to have to make that Euless trip anymore. read more

Getting a 1 star review based off the first 2 min at First Watch. My sister, mom and nieces were in town and chose here for breakfast. When we walked in the hostess was seating us and chose a table that was visibly in the sunlight due to the front windows and the angle of sun early morning in DFW. My sister politely asked if we could sit at a different table because the sun would have been in our eyes the entire morning. The restaurant was at 20% capacity and had plenty of open tables. After making this request the hostess gave my sister a look as if she was inconvenienced by this request and walked across the restaurant and set our menus on a different table and walked away exchanging zero words of customer service at all. The way she handled this made our party feel uncomfortable and unwanted for a simple request. I'll just go to Waffle House next time, they can give better service at the hostess stand. read more

I wanted to order everything on the first watch book, turns out they have half of the menu because everything else is seasonal. I was not disappointed one bit. Everything was extremely tasty read more

Got the power wrap and elite street corn hash. Both had wonderful flavor. It was an excellent breakfast!!!!

i live down the street and every time i go to have breakfast and sit on the patio, it takes the server 20 minutes to come out and take my order. i srr serves standing around and talking / laughing while im outside waiting for my order to be taken. if i wanted this type of service I would go to waffle house!!! I then sat in my car writing the review for 15 minutes and my glass of water and cup of coffee was still on the table still no server!! read more

Ordered online and still had to wait 20 min past the time listed it would be ready online. Ordered that Avocado toast and a veggie potato skillet and both had so much salt they were not edible. I had other family members taste to see if it was just me. My spouse ordered a side of bacon and potatoes and said both were fine. Prices were ridiculous as well. read more

Amy was amazing! We loved the Elote Mexican street corn hash too! They have green chilies and an awesome range of pancakes

The time that was provided for pick up, was not the time it was ready and had to wait. So if you order online, no receipt is given. The manager was arguing about how there is no way to give me a receipt and I realize they are new but mentions to me that I'm the only one who has ever asked for a receipt! WOW. I had to ask for it and meanwhile my food got cold. So I would say not the best customer service. She finally printed a receipt from her computer. read more

We waited 10-15 minutes to be seated and then over an hour for our food. The table next to us got their food delivered, and they said "that's not what we ordered" she placed the food down on their table and then picked it back up and tried to serve it to us. That is NOT okay. Everyone knows in the restaurant industry you CANNOT do that. The waitress looked shocked that I wouldn't accept the food after she had already served it to the other table. We paid for our coffee and left. So now we wasted 1.5 hours of our time and left hungry. read more

I ordered delivery through Door Dash and it took an hour for the restaurant to prepare the food. The delivery person was waiting for almost all of that time. She was great and kept me posted. The food tasted ok but was cold. It was a simple order. Nothing complicated and wasn't during a busy time of day. Probably won't order again. read more

This is our first time here and everything was superb. Some of the best coffee. We all enjoyed our food and the service was good. Additing this to the list of favorite brunch spots. First Watch - Floridian French toast - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Coppell, Texas

I've heard rants and raves about how great this place is so I wanted to meet a friend here. It was a good 40 minute middle point between us both so we agreed to meet there and catch up. The wait was quoted at 20 minutes which was fine because we had about an hour and a half before we had to head out. After 30 minutes we check with the hostess and she informed us it would be about another hour wait. Looking around, there was one other couple besides us waiting unless they were all waiting in their cars? We didn't have that kind of time and ended up not being able to have lunch with everywhere else being on a wait as well. I gave 2 stars because I didn't have a chance to rate the food. read more

Great decor and lots of menu options. Come hungry, the Entrees are huge! Awesome service!

This spot is really good. I had the avocado toast and a kale tonic my wife had the biggest waffle Ive3ever seen and talked about it for the rest of the day. Staff was very attentive and the COVID protocols felt safe and still enjoyable. read more

First off, the place was very nice looking and had a good clean atmosphere to it. I came in and was promptly greeted by the hostess who sat me down add a boot. The waitress was followed shortly thereafter and got my drink order and dropped off a menu. The coffee was so so. Not great, not terrible. The Omelette was tasty and pretty decent size. It came with mixed greens which is just odd to me and you could substitute potatoes for it. The outlet originally came with onions and pico de gallo. I'm not an onion fan so I had those removed. I also told the waitress that exact thing. Well when she brought my potatoes they had onions in them. Luckily they were big enough that I could pick around them but still if you knew I didn't like onions and you knew the potatoes were loaded with them you might mention that. The biscuit was good size which in my opinion, it had better be if I'm only getting one. It just wasn't the tastiest biscuit. Nothing necessarily wrong with it just not my brand. The meal ran me about $16 which isn't terribly high, but it's higher than some places I go back home. I would probably try again but I wouldn't rush to do so. read more

Horrible experience. Sat at my table and watched for an hour as everybody who sat after me got the food, ate, and left before us. Our waiter avoided our table for at least 30 minutes and couldn't even have the courtesy of bringing extra water. The food was alright but this was a terrible experience. No attempt was made to remedy the situation by the waiter, however, the manager ended up giving us $60 worth of gift cards after we told her about our experience. read more

Love the food here and this is a great location. You're able to stay for a long time (when it's not busy) and hang out. The problem we keep running into is when we order take out. Asking for something on the side means you don't get it at all (i.e. salad dressing!!). This is a consistent problem with this location. Today, we ordered an omelet with sauces on the side (that was correct), but we ordered fruit with it (not a salad) and that was not correct. We also ordered a salad with dressing on the side (no dressing was given). We also ordered a pesto chicken quinoa bowl with no modifications. Pesto was left off, so it was very bland. Food is great, but the quality control is not. read more

I ordered online for a pickup at 2. I got there at 1:30 because I was running early, so I went inside to let them know hey I got here pretty early I was just wondering if it were possible to start my order early if not that's totally okay! Basically just wanted them to let the kitchen know hey if you could start it early because she is here that would be perfect. Instead the host told me they physically cannot. Basically just not outstanding service. I got my order 10 minutes late as well. read more

So besides the wait time which you have the option to join the waitlist online. (Great feature). By the time we got sat, they were out of the million dollar bacon. One of the main reason we had to come here. They also did not have the Banana foster french toast at this location which was their special. Also on there special the elote Mexican street corn hash - such a disappointment! Does not come close to the quantity shown in the the picture presented on the menu. The LaMarca made it bearable! read more

Great menu and food. Fantastic service. Fresh juices are delicious. Restrooms are too small.

First time here. Absolutely loved it. Food was great, service was amazing. That you so much Brooklyn for your great service.

I've been to first watch a couple of times, to this location in Coppell. I have enjoyed the food and the service every single time, except for today. Decided to have brunch and we sat outside on the patio. We ordered our food and everything was well, the food was good. The waitress then brings the check out, literally 5-10mins after my food came out. I thought it was odd, but I just blew it off and continued to eat. My waitress never came back and checked on my table. I had to go and get up to look for her when I needed a to go box, some condiments, I needed more water and she just never came back. I found her on her phone sitting down organizing something. I asked for what I needed, finished eating, went to pay and she was literally talking on the phone while checking us out. I understand some servers are laid back when checking up on tables but this is not it. I felt like I was rushed and not cared for as a customer. read more

Wait for food was approximately 45 minutes. When we got our food the eggs Benedict was cold (including the Hollandaise sauce), and the poached eggs were overcooked (not runny at all). We informed the server (not our primary waitress) of these issues. She said that she would inform the manager. However, the manager never showed face and we were left to pay the full price of our meal. Also, once the food was served we never saw our waitress again. The Coppell location needs to seriously consider hiring a new manager or discuss how to improve operations with the current manager. The manager needs to be actively involved in customer service and visiting the customers (I.e., asking if there is anything they need, any issues, etc) read more
