Absolutely great experience. We came there about a year ago the food was bad, waffle cold turkey sausage undercooked, potatoes undercooked, guess they were working the kinks out, being a newer location. We vowed to never go there again. I didn't leave a bad review, per normal because I know First a watch is a great place, and for whatever reason this location was having a bad run. FYI:We live very close to this location. Yet the last year we've driven to Euless about a dozen times to that location, such an inconvenience. We were passing by on Monday and decided to give it another go. Omg it was amazing. My waffle was perfect. Sausage, biscuits,everything. My husband always gets the same thing out Arianna expressed so much excitement about the brioche French toast so he tried it, omg it was amazing. I had food envy for a moment until I bit into my own food. My husband ended up ordering another French toast it was that good. My 2 year old liked the French toast and potatoes. Arianna was amazing, her suggestions amazing, food amazing. I'm relieved cause I'd surely rather drive down the street for breakfast instead of like 15 minutes out the way. i live down the street and every time i go to have breakfast and sit on the patio, it takes the server 20 minutes to come out and take my order. i srr serves standing around and talking / laughing while im outside waiting for my order to be taken. if i wanted this type of service I would go to waffle house!!! Getting a 1 star review based off the first 2 min at First Watch. My sister, mom and nieces were in town and chose here for breakfast. When we walked in the hostess was seating us and chose a table that was visibly in the sunlight due to the front windows and the angle of sun early morning in DFW. My sister politely asked if we could sit at a different table because the sun would have been in our eyes the entire morning. The restaurant was at 20% capacity and had plenty of open tables. After making this request the hostess gave my sister a look as if she was inconvenienced by this request and walked across the restaurant and set our menus on a different table and walked away exchanging zero words of customer service at all. The way she handled this made our party feel uncomfortable and unwanted for a simple request. I'll just go to Waffle House next time, they can give better service at the hostess stand. read more

The time that was provided for pick up, was not the time it was ready and had to wait. So if you order online, no receipt is given. The manager was arguing about how there is no way to give me a receipt and I realize they are new but mentions to me that I'm the only one who has ever asked for a receipt! WOW. The table next to us got their food delivered, and they said "that's not what we ordered" she placed the food down on their table and then picked it back up and tried to serve it to us. That is NOT okay. Everyone knows in the restaurant industry you CANNOT do that. The waitress looked shocked that I wouldn't accept the food after she had already served it to the other table. I ordered delivery through Door Dash and it took an hour for the restaurant to prepare the food. The delivery person was waiting for almost all of that time. She was great and kept me posted. I've heard rants and raves about how great this place is so I wanted to meet a friend here. It was a good 40 minute middle point between us both so we agreed to meet there and catch up. The wait was quoted at 20 minutes which was fine because we had about an hour and a half before we had to head out. After 30 minutes we check with the hostess and she informed us it would be about another hour wait. Looking around, there was one other couple besides us waiting unless they were all waiting in their cars? We didn't have that kind of time and ended up not being able to have lunch with everywhere else being on a wait as well. I gave 2 stars because I didn't have a chance to rate the food. read more

Horrible experience. Sat at my table and watched for an hour as everybody who sat after me got the food, ate, and left before us. Our waiter avoided our table for at least 30 minutes and couldn't even have the courtesy of bringing extra water. The food was alright but this was a terrible experience. No attempt was made to remedy the situation by the waiter, however, the manager ended up giving us $60 worth of gift cards after we told her about our experience. read more

Love the food here and this is a great location. You're able to stay for a long time (when it's not busy) and hang out. The problem we keep running into is when we order take out. Asking for something on the side means you don't get it at all (i.e. salad dressing!!). This is a consistent problem with this location. Today, we ordered an omelet with sauces on the side (that was correct), but we ordered fruit with it (not a salad) and that was not correct. We also ordered a salad with dressing on the side (no dressing was given). We also ordered a pesto chicken quinoa bowl with no modifications. Pesto was left off, so it was very bland. First off, the place was very nice looking and had a good clean atmosphere to it. I came in and was promptly greeted by the hostess who sat me down add a boot. The waitress was followed shortly thereafter and got my drink order and dropped off a menu. The coffee was so so. Not great, not terrible. The Omelette was tasty and pretty decent size. It came with mixed greens which is just odd to me and you could substitute potatoes for it. The outlet originally came with onions and pico de gallo. I'm not an onion fan so I had those removed. I also told the waitress that exact thing. Well when she brought my potatoes they had onions in them. Luckily they were big enough that I could pick around them but still if you knew I didn't like onions and you knew the potatoes were loaded with them you might mention that. The biscuit was good size which in my opinion, it had better be if I'm only getting one. It just wasn't the tastiest biscuit. Nothing necessarily wrong with it just not my brand. The meal ran me about $16 which isn't terribly high, but it's higher than some places I go back home. I would probably try again but I wouldn't rush to do so. read more

I've been to first watch a couple of times, to this location in Coppell. I have enjoyed the food and the service every single time, except for today. Decided to have brunch and we sat outside on the patio. We ordered our food and everything was well, the food was good. The waitress then brings the check out, literally 5-10mins after my food came out. I thought it was odd, but I just blew it off and continued to eat. My waitress never came back and checked on my table. I had to go and get up to look for her when I needed a to go box, some condiments, I needed more water and she just never came back. I found her on her phone sitting down organizing something. I asked for what I needed, finished eating, went to pay and she was literally talking on the phone while checking us out. I understand some servers are laid back when checking up on tables but this is not it. I felt like I was rushed and not cared for as a customer. read more

Wait for food was approximately 45 minutes. When we got our food the eggs Benedict was cold (including the Hollandaise sauce), and the poached eggs were overcooked (not runny at all). We informed the server (not our primary waitress) of these issues. She said that she would inform the manager. However, the manager never showed face and we were left to pay the full price of our meal. Also, once the food was served we never saw our waitress again. The Coppell location needs to seriously consider hiring a new manager or discuss how to improve operations with the current manager. The manager needs to be actively involved in customer service and visiting the customers (I.e., asking if there is anything they need, any issues, etc) read more

Time wasted, not organized, bad customer service. I should have read the other reviews before heading out there. Waited 25 minutes to be seated, even though more than 7 tables were empty in the patio. After 20 minutes and seeing parties that arrived later getting seated before us was told people have 15 minutes to claim their reservation and that is why the longer wait time. That means that once you get the message your table is ready, they wait 15 minutes for them. It's the first time I see such a long wait, usually it's 5-10. Once seated we waited for 10 minutes and no one came, but we saw another party being seated and waiter came over immediately. We left after seen this and won't be coming back. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. We waited 50 minutes for our food to come out, only to get half of our order. Another 10-12 minutes to get my husbands order. Both of our potatoes were cold. I go to have breakfast with my husband to eat our food together not for one of us to have food and then the other watches. Our waiter came by 2 times. Once to take our order and the second time seconds after food came out to hand us a receipt. She wasn't even the one to bring the food but she sure as hell was quick enough to bring us the check. This was our first time at First Watch and honestly the last. I have never been more upset. Please have better customer service and if your food is going to take THAT LONG atleast update your customers so they are just sitting there for almost an hour. This place was terrible in service. Got there around 10:45am got seated outside which was the quicker option and no issue. We ordered about 11-11:10 at the latest. Got told 25 mins into waiting they would check on the food and they apologize for the wait. My wife and I said no worries and didn't think much of it. Another 25 mins later and our food nowhere to be found. Not one person came to our table and said anything, our waitress was not even looking at us. Finally about 12:05ish we get my wife's food and complete order and my one pancake I ordered. They said they were on the way with my other food plate. My wife and I waited so we could eat together. The rest of my food did not get there until 12 mins after. We got our food and start eating, my wife had to eat her food cold cause we waited so long on my food to arrive. Food was subpar. By the time I got to my pancake it was cold and barely eatable. Ate about a third. Our waitress came over a total of 3 times. To take our order, to tell us she's checking on our food, and lastly to drop off a check, 3 mins into receiving our food. This was terrible. Never. Coming. Again.
